our needs and put together a house and land package for us within just 3 days. He's walked us through every step with patience and honesty, making us feel confident in our decision. The admin stage has taken far longer than advised. We were told it would take 5–6 months, but we are now approaching 7 months and construction has still not started, despite our land already being titled. We have repeatedly been told the final plans were complete and that construction would commence within two weeks, only to be told again that… Read more

plans were still being finalised. Most recently, delays were attributed to clarifying a GPO location, which we had already confirmed.

Overall, we are very disappointed with how long the admin stage has taken and the lack of clear, consistent timelines.

Not great – Make sure before you sign up and pay a deposit that the land and home package being offered to you is actually available. We paid our deposit after being promised a package to only find out less than 10 minutes later that what we were offered was no longer available and that it will now cost us more to find a suitable package. We get to the next few meetings, asking if we could flip the design, first we were told it wasn't possible due to some star rating , then when we pushed a little more all of a sudden it was possible but would cost an additional 4.5k. Once we questioned the sudden change of mind , we were met with an email saying he didn't want to do it at first , but after explaining why we wanted to flip it he made it happen. I responded with so the star rating wasn't the reason and that he just didn't want to do it , he responded with it didn't matter to him which is why he made it happen. Very confusing. We have now decided to pull out due to the cost being over 20k more than what we originally signed up for. Please note that would we have been offered our deposit back after the land and house package we were originally offered we would have taken the deposit and not felt like we had to go ahead with celebrations. We have now lost money and respect for a company we originally thought was great.
