the moulding is a product specifically designed for external applications and that they do not manufacture it themselves. They even suggested that the damage was likely caused by birds, despite never conducting a proper inspection of the property.

I escalated the matter through Carlisle's Issue Resolution Team and even to the CEO John Doulgeridis , but the response was consistently that the issue was not their responsibility. What is particularly frustrating is that at no stage during the colour selection process, contract signing, or construction phase was I informed about the nature, durability, or potential risks associated with this product.

Instead of standing behind the materials used on my home, Carlisle advised me to arrange repairs privately and provided the contact details of a renderer, Lukacs Rendering, who they regularly work with. However, when I contacted the renderer, they declined to assist and advised that they only work directly with Carlisle.

After investing my life's savings into building this home, it is heartbreaking to see the facade looking damaged and unattractive so soon after completion. What has made the situation even worse is the lack of ownership, support, and customer care shown throughout the process.

Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering building with Carlisle Homes to carefully review all materials being used and obtain clear written assurances regarding quality and warranty coverage before signing a contract. In my case, once the contract was signed and the home was handed over, obtaining meaningful assistance became extremely difficult.

Building with Carlisle Homes was hassle free and very easy. Guided from start to finish and always updated with the progress on every stage. She helped us understand what finishes, colours and materials would work well together, and seeing the selections come together piece by piece gave us a lot of confidence in our choices.

We particularly appreciated the practical advice regarding upgrades and where they would make the biggest impact. It never felt like a sales process; instead, we felt we were receiving honest and thoughtful guidance to help us make informed decisions.

A huge thank you to our site supervisor, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole build. He was always approachable, responsive, and never ignored any concern we raised. Even the smallest issues were addressed properly, and he was willing to call contractors back multiple times to make sure everything was completed to a high standard. meeting, client liaison officer was just reading terms and conditions. No interest was shown towards the actual floor plans. We were forced to sign PAC without even an Architect walking us through the floor plans. Email correspondence is done with only one client (even in case of joint clients). Every request comes with an answer, “No, it can’t be done”.

Review updated in June 2026- 1. Big void in the master bedroom due to a facade chosen differently to display homes. It was an easy fix during build but there was no hearing. A simple no.  2. Kitchen joinery-drawers are not functional, drawers do not have enough barriers on sides to hold items. There is a high risk that things will fall off the drawers. Spent so much on the kitchen joinery and it is not that useful. 3. Taps not installed as requested. Thankfully, they will be rectified before handover. 4. Broom cupboard-not designed as per requested variation. 5. Bathroom joinery is not useful. There is no room to keep shampoo/ body wash bottles/ even toilet paper roll. Height in between the shelves is not enough to store anything, except towels. 6. Power points installed at wrong locations in the bathroom. Thankfully, they will be rectified before handover. 7. Kitchen joinery not useful above the microwave panel-complete waste of space and money. No room to store anything. But no one ever told this during the design phase. You need to have an architectural background if building with Carlisle. 8. Color of the Main door of the house is different to what was shown in the color selection appointment. As a result, it looks misaligned with the garage door. A big noticeable mistake at the front of the house. 9. Overall feedback for Carlisle planning team- not at all co-operative. For them it is just another project, another day-doesn't matter to them if there are errors in the colour selection document. As a client I didn't have enough capacity to go through every item line by line and enough architectural expertise to understand all the plans, I was relying on Carlisle on those items but it was a big mistake.  10. The colour selection appointments were overwhelming. A lot to do in one day. No follow -ups were entertained at any stage. 11. There was no collaborative approach during planning phase. The whole process was about Carlisle-just follow the process and keep paying money because you are stuck with Carlisle after signing the sales contract. 12. Highly overpriced as compared to other competitive builders in the market.  13. Client requirements are not a priority for them, it is all about how they deliver-take it if you like it, suck it if you don't like it. 14. Despite of all these challenges, the only good thing was responsiveness from site supervisor. However, he couldn't do much as everything was already planned and he is bound to follow the plans. Had the planning stage being little bit better, things would have been different.
