Ordered a dewalt router and plunge base with a battery at a good sale price. But after weeks of waiting and to find out it was sent to completely different state. shipping and compensation due to thier mistake and failing to follow up on shipping. With no compensation or anything for good faith for thier mistake, essentially I have to hurry and wait. Good price but wasn't worth the wait when I could have gotten alot sooner for not much more expense. It's been over a month and will be another week or two for the tools to arrive. Poor customer service on the online department for their mistake.
The product was well priced and as per the description. The biggest downside was that the delivery company was very average missing the delivery advised date and tracking was not accurate.
Have to pay them back the free shipping if you want to return a item – When I asked to return an item that bought with free postage. They said no worries however you will have to pay for the shipping cost of sending it to you aswell as the shipping to send it back to them, which totals more than the purchase. Just seems like a sneaky tactic to me.

lithium red 5a/h batteries and a charger and in one of the heavy duty carry case. It was just a no fuss transaction and super speedy. It was also cheaper than the local Melbourne merchants who were having sales at the time. The money is secondary in the scheme of things but it’s always appreciated. Saved a lot of effort – Needed a replacement battery for a no longer made drill, ordered online and picked up in store a couple of days later. Simple, easy and timesaving.

in stock and the following morning I drove to your store.
However, it turned out that Toolmart Midvale didn’t actually have the item in stock (the man I originally spoke to had put aside the wrong one) which was a bit of a pain. However, rather than shop elsewhere (because I needed the saw blade for a job that weekend), I was assured that the item would be available by 4pm the same day. Not as convenient as actually having the item I asked about in the first place however it seemed like an ok solution.
At 4pm I received a phone call from the store informing me the item had been lost and they were unsure when it would arrive at the store, certainly not in the next few days when I needed it. I explained that I had already wasted a day without the item that I could have bought elsewhere. The toolmart staff member wasn't interested in trying to find a solution which was pretty disappointing. I emailed the store that evening explaining the situation and my frustration. I never received a reply.
Over the years I have bought a number of tools from Toolmart as I like to support small business if I can. Price is not always the deciding factor. However, if you don't offer great customer service, Ill take my business to the larger tool shops instead. In this case, I bought a better quality saw blade for about the same price from TKD - the customer services was actually really good, the staff were friendly and they had much more stock to choose from.

OBDII reader for Ford – I needed a scanner that would talk to my Ford Ranger and understand it. This unit plugged straight in and went to work. Very quick delivery – I chose Toolmart because they are a recommended supplier by Sidchrome. The email interactions about my order added a layer of security to the purchase which was delivered to the other side of the country in just a few days. Good products, good service. I will recommend and use them again.

Worse company – Will never shop at toolmart again. Warranty practices breach consumer law and would not replace tool after diagnosed major fault. manager has the worse customer service skills i have ever come across. Have reported this company to ACCC. Cant say this strongly enough go elsewhere.

You had better hope what you buy doesn't break down – Bought a decent quality Metabo cordless drill kit on recommendation of Toolmart staff. Lasted 6 months before it stopped working and burst into flames. Toolmart unless I call them for an update, and given that it was supposed to be resolved in 2 weeks (their statement) this is quickly becoming a joke. Disappointed with the store I bought from (Maddington) who just don't care if its a warranty issue (not our problem, talk to Belmont) and especially Belmont, who are supposed to be the service centre for the entire company. Am in Perth again this week looking for a new welder, you can guess which chain of stores won't be getting my business

has been always good, will never use the online service again, besides I'm pretty sure they have the item in stock at the store. I really needed the item quick, paid it off in full so why I have to wait for so long? Besides there is no information on the website that could be delays when ordering online. One month already gone and still waiting for one of the parts, which is the cup wheel, I have asked at the store if they have a similar one that will fit my tool and I was told that none of the others will fit it, otherwise I have been given another one to solve the problem, I knew it it wasn't true, they are universal fit so I went to Bunning Warehouse and I bought one for a fraction of the price and is working beautifully, everytime more disappointed with this service.
