After have phone issues, i took it late Friday afternoon to the Earlville store in cairns and the customer service was outstanding. Merri was the service member and tried all possibilities to help me get my phone back to 100% working condition. After no success, it was no probelms to me as Merri did everything in her power to be successful. i will recommend PTC Earlville and cairns central to anyone form now on. great customer service Merri. Show details

Great design and functionality, but needs a true sleep mode I really like the overall look of this charger — it feels premium, the magnetic hold is strong, and the 3‑in‑1 layout is genuinely practical. proper sleep button to turn off the lights when nothing is charging. There is a fan/light control, but I’d love a simple way to have the indicator lights stay completely off by default when the charger isn’t in use, especially at night. Still a great product with a lot going for it — just hoping a future version adds that final touch.

My screen failed overnight and was getting worse every hour. I dropped my phone off to PTC Phone Repairs Chermside to be repaired. Matt and Brett were brilliant to deal with. They provided me with all the detail I needed and let me know it was ready to be picked up after less than 2 hours. They replaced the screen and everything is working amazingly. The guys here are friendly and helpful. 10/10 Show details

The most appalling customer service from both the Belconnen Branch and Head Office. 3 weeks later still no refund processed and a complete refusal to assist by anyone. Total Fraudsters!! Show details

 Follow-up  · In the end I had to get my bank to sort out the refund. The service from everyone at PTC was dreadful! No excuse for a refund taking weeks in this day and age!

... ended up being around $180 and fixed, cleaned and polished within the hour!!! Asked for a protective screen to be fitted when I returned and that too was completed there and then. Thoroughly recommend! Hope Leah and her colleague enjoyed the chocolates ... that's how thrilled I was.

Totally, absolutely useless! Made a booking early Dec and the closest appointment was end of December - and all the Tech Guy did was submit a Google phone replacement. So happy I travelled 15km, and waited nearly 4 weeks for.. At least the store was open today, unlike my first visit, which was closed Show details

A few years ago I bought a keyboard from PTC and wasn’t happy with it. When I tried to return it, customer service told me they don’t accept returns once the packaging is opened, which I think is unreasonable. I previously left a negative review on ProductReview, and after that I noticed their positive rating suddenly jumped to around 94%, which feels very misleading. Posting the same experience again here so others are aware. Show details

The Modbury store tried to refuse a refund for faulty IQ mag car charger. They stated that they only accept returns up to 100 days. I told them this is wrong as in Australia we have the minimum of 12 months for any faulty product that fails to work correctly. They kept going around in circles trying to state its past the 100 days. After around 15… Read more

minutes of doing these circles of arguments, and explaining that the ACCC law could fine the company over $1 million, and als fine him personally for over $120,000 for misleading statements on refunds; he eventually gave a full refund.

before 10am to tell me that they had made a mistake and no one was coming in today but I could come back another time which was not very helpful. I said I didn't have time to go back another day and asked if they could arrange a courier to pick up the phone. They said yes which was initially positive but unfortunately they never delivered on this - it was almost 5 weeks ago and despite multiple emails nothing has still been done. I ended up contacting google to complain and they have replaced the phone for me. I would strongly recommend against using PTC - really poor customer support especially after an issue which was entirely their own fault.

Beware of these guys I took my Samsung S22 Ultra mobile phone to PTC Indooroopilly to replace its display as it was damaged, on the 19th of September 2025, Friday morning approximately 0945 hrs. I handed my phone over to the customer care person at the shop, and explained the issues with my phone. The phone had cracks on its display. The phone had… Read more

a case on and the customer service person removed the case, checked the phone, and said it would cost $449 to replace its display. He asked me to come back at 1030 hrs as I agreed to get a new display installed. As I got back to the shop at approximately 1045 hrs, he showed me a phone that had new display installed but the back of the phone was shattered with multiple large cracks on it and even a small piece was chipped off the bottom, one of the corners (Don't remember right or left clearly). The customer care person said that there was a small crack on the back of my phone which got extended when they installed the new display. He said, he hadn't seen the crack before I left the shop, when I asked him why he didn't show me/ let me know about the same. He then showed me the photographs of the front and back of my phone on a tab ? an ipad, where I could see the said crack. However, I didn't know when those photos were taken. He said those were taken while I was still at the store, which I didn't see. He said he only saw the little crack on the back of my phone, when he checked on the photograph, after I left the store. When I asked him to show me the time that those photos were taken on his device, he said that the device doesn't record time when they take photos. Being someone who is working in a repair shop, he should know that a small crack can worsen when they start working on it. If they had seen the damage, prior to opening and repairing my phone, they must have waited for me to discuss options, which didn't happen. I was only 30 minutes away. I then requested him to let me go through the footage of the CCTV camera they have in the store, but he refused stating it's against the privacy policy. The customer care person offered me a $10 discount which I refused. He then said that he could repair the back of the phone for half price which would be $49. As I didn't agree with those offers, he said he could put my old display back, return the phone to me and I wouldn't have to pay for the labour cost but I would have a phone shattered on the back which was not there when I handed the phone over to them. Since I'm certain that there was no damage on the back of my phone when I handed it over to him, I didn't agree with either of these options. I left the phone with them, took my sim card with me. I emailed the customer care centre of PTC, on the email id provided by the store person, as soon as I got home, which would be approximately 1:30pm the same day with no response so far. I sent them a reminder email on Monday the 22nd morning which was ignored as well. On the 24th night, I emailed them on a different email id provided by one of my friends as well. I havn't received any response from them so far. I had to buy a second hand phone for my use, had to block all banking transactions as my phone had all the apps and password in it. I'm not able to contact many of my families and friends as the numbers are saved on the phone. I would give a '0' rating if that would be possible. I have now made a complaint to the Office of Fair trading QLD. I'm waiting for an outcome of it.
