I purchased a like new refurbished iPhone 13. Upon starting phone message came up, camera not recognised. This may be due to non genuine parts etc. The camera did not work correctly. I immediately completed the return and refund information on the Phonebot website. Message stated I would receive instructions within 24-48 hours. It is now 4 days later and nothing received. Advertised as starlight in colour with the correct light colour band pictured. However it came with a generic black band. Apparently what is pictured isn’t what you get. False adverting if you ask me. Buy beware. I would absolutely not order from them again. Other much better options to buy repurposed things from. Avoid these guys for sure.

Do not send to them for repairs or buy if you hope for after sale service. I paid for the last stage of phone repair on 5th November and still haven’t had any update that it is repaired and it is mid January. I originally bought this as an A grade phone from them in September but the volume button and front camera did not work properly, clearly they do not check all functions before sending out. They do not refurbish. They wipe the screen if you're lucky. Had a watch with a boot loader error that would have been picked up at factory reset if they did one. Then they try and charge you for the damage when you signed for and received the item 1 minute before you contact them. Not too mention postage time from purchase to actually sending. Show details

spoke to the manager who said it would be replaced in 15 days or they would refund it in full. 15 days past I asked again for a refund. They blocked my number. I finally got a direct line to them and they tried to do the usual story "oh that manager doesn't work here anymore and we do things differently now". Despite me speaking to the manager less than a week ago. Followed by the customer service rep insulting me with racist remarks over the phone. Both customer services reps from the Reservoir store have told numerous lies such as "we will contact the manager right now" before just hanging up the phone while they put me on hold, or "we are looking into this as we speak" in an attempt to get off the phone call.
After the first rude and unprofessional interaction I had with their service staff I recorded the whole second conversation and have uploaded that. As phonebot have denied anything I have proof of, such as their staff members swearing and throwing racist remarks at me.
Listen to the recordings I took over the phone with their customer service agent at the Resvevoir shop. The conversation was about 30 minutes and the only way I got on the phone with them was by sending a message from a other phone saying I wanted to purchase a new iPhone. Suddenly they called me straight away. Then spent the whole 30 minutes insulting me saying racist remarks which you can hear in the recordings.
They have not honoured their own warranty and have spent over 2 and a half months avoiding all responsibility in order to try get me to accept another broken phone when all I wanted was a refund . The bottom line is the phone never worked and should have been refunded immediately. However, they made it impossible to contact them when you had an issue. I even went into the store directly because they were ignoring all requests. All promises and guarantees were made with zero action or accountability.
I'd also like to add when I went into the store there were three people in front of me, two of which had the exact same issue with their phone not working when they bought it and they were not responding to them online either.
UPDATE: So after I told them I left a review they finally started replying back to me an issued the refund. However, due to the sellers auto correct he sent it to the wrong address. His auto correct seemed to changed my payment address to something adult and very embarrassing for them. Now they are telling me I have to wait for them to get a refund because he sent the money to his adult interest instead. This company needs to spend less time making false promises and more time doing honest work. I couldn't make this up if I tried. I attached the image of the receipt.
Follow-up · Till this date I never received a full refund. Outside of eBay they sent me a partial payment and then never contacted me again. I have reported it to the ACCC. Final note, remember even if "their policy" says 30 days only to be eligible for a full refund. It doesn't matter, if the product sold to you didn't work as advertised you are entitled to… Read more

for swimming. Just over a year into owning it, I used the watch for light swimming, with Water Lock enabled, no diving, no impact, and no misuse. Within minutes, the watch shut down and never turned back on. I took the watch through Samsung service assessment and they confirmed water ingress, and also confirmed that the cost to repair exceeds the value of the watch. Despite this, I was told no remedy would be offered because the watch was “out of warranty” and that this watch was apparently an overseas model... Phonebot took no responsibility for a product they sold, instead deflecting the issue entirely to the manufacturer. I was never informed at the time of purchase that that the watch was an overseas model and that it would affect my consumer rights, nor does that make sense to me as a customer buying from an Australian retailer. I’m now left with a $700+ smartwatch that failed during normal, advertised use, with no support from the retailer. This experience has been extremely disappointing but revealing. I now will be documenting this via social media. When you buy a premium product from a local retailer, you expect them to stand behind what they sell, especially when the product fails doing exactly what it was marketed to do. I would strongly advise anyone considering a high-value purchase from Phonebot to think carefully about what happens after the sale if something goes wrong.
Follow-up · Water depth: Water was waist to chest level, no diving. Watch was barely lower than 1 metre below Water surface. Water lock: Yes, the watch was activated on 'Water Lock' prior to swimming. How long was the swim: No longer than 10 minutes. That's not 10ATM Water resistant, that's false marketing from both Samsung and Phonebot (retailer). This case has been lodged through the Australian Consumer Law.

can't even record my mobile number for a return call correctly. SO FRUSTRATING and my son hasn't had a working watch for a couple of weeks that he got for Christmas. WHAT A JOKE.
