only to be told that we were not entitled to any refund or remaining warranty value because the car was sold privately. This was never disclosed or explained to us at the time of purchase. Had this critical condition been made clear, we would have seriously reconsidered purchasing the warranty in the first place.
The lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to properly explain the terms is extremely disappointing. It feels misleading and unfair to sell a long-term warranty without clearly outlining such important limitations.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be very cautious, and I would not use this company again.

it inspected by licensed mechanic, and they said the same thing, after wasting 10 days roaming 7 workshop, a claim was put through and it was rejected. Why bother wasting everyones time if they are just going to reject it. Poor support and trash warranty. Waste of money.
I strongly recommend not to buy it. Anything you can think of can go wrong; they dont cover. Trust me, I own 8 cars as I am car enthusiasts, had plenty of experience with warranties over the years. All are trash but you pay extra money for presidian to buy the same trash. Go with National or integrity or something cheap if you are desperate. But it’s waste of money. I paid 3.5k and did not get sump pan approved, nor headlight actuator motor fault covered. Nothing, nada.. Zero…

generally would cover oil leaks in a new car. The second time I claimed was for a Mechatronic unit for the DSG gearbox to my astonishment it was covered. They covered $2700 for the repairs. I had to pay difference of about $300. I'm not sure why but I had to. Recently I have had to make another claim on the gearbox. This time on the DSG clutch in the exclusions. I read clutch linings were not covered. But to my amazement they have just approved $3800 for the repair again. I will have to pay a difference. Apparently the repairer has quoted for 15 hours labour but Presidian have only covered 10 hours which is fine by me. The majority of the cost is going to be covered by the warranty. So in my experience, it has been well worth the purchase of this warranty. The staff when you call are always very nice and communicate well. Showing my experience this has been a good one. I am glad I purchased it now.
I had an exceptionally reliable vehicle during my 5 year tenure with Presidian, though there were two isolated sensor claims, both of which were approved. The second claim took a few weeks to resolve as they never replied to the repair facility's email and I had to chase them up as it were. . with them. The same cannot be said for Integrity Warranty, which may or may not be affiliated with Presidian. Presidian was, overall, easy to deal with; Integrity is like trying to pull teeth from a jackal, they are (deliberately ?) extremely difficult to deal with it isn't worth the headache, I would honestly prefer paying completely out of pocket than to ever deal with Integrity car warranty. I will be buying another car imminently and will consider Presidian but certainly not Integrity. As an aside, my next vehicle purchase will be anywhere but a place called Scarboro Toyota, who are the dirtiest players in the game in Western Australia. :)

I purchased a used car with an aftermarket extended warranty/insurance from the Presidian/Davantage Group. I followed the Presidian policies to transfer the policy into my name. The Presidian representative then asked for service receipts from the previous owner which were provided, despite this not being a published requirement. The same… Read more
representative then responded that due to a engine control unit (ECU) remap that was completed as part of a repair process through the Presidian insurance policy by a Presidian certified repairer that the policy would not be able to be transferred into my name and that it would instead be cancelled. The representative stated that Presidian would consider the ECU remap a ‘modification’ despite it clearly being an authorised repair.
I attempted to explain the above to the representative and request my complaint be escalated, however they used the fact that Presidian had refused to transfer the policy into my name as justification to not proceed any further or even review the initial clearly incorrect decision. This was a clear case of an aftermarket insurance provider cherry picking any excuse to terminate policies and void their obligations.
Avoid this company and save your money!

I actually have had no repairs on my Holden Acadia a Presidian warranty would even consider, but on my issues have rang the company only to be told my Class C does not cover any faults unless it’s under the bonnet and then an assessment will need to be made to see if I qualify, now it costed me in December 2022 $2400 for this five year extended… Read more
warranty and because I kept the extended warranty past 30 days they won’t even bend for a pensioner to cancel the extended warranty, so for five extra years they gain $2400 from me and I get nothing in return, this latest issue is a eye level brake light which needs total replacing on the boot window as water is getting in around the electrical apparently it’s a deteriorating seal and clip or clips that have deteriorated and allowed this to happen, but because it’s not directly associated with any electrical wiring it does not fall within my extended warranty, what a laugh this company is having, taking from us and giving nothing back. I read my fine print today again, if my car ends in a smash to, the extended warranty won’t cover anything for it, I told them this morning what I thought of their extended warranty and I will not be going back, DONT BUY ANY WARRANTY FROM DAVANTAGE!

Follow-up · Regarding how long it took it was done within 24hrs through our Mercedes dealer. It was a minor issue related to the window seals. We had a noise coming from the window and it was a replacement of the seals. We do not know the cost as it was through the dealer and Presidian. Hope this helps answer some of the followup questions.

The issue was diagnosed and submitted the same day, and Presidian approved the claim within five days. While the warranty hasn’t fully paid for itself yet, it has covered a significant repair and, just as importantly, provided real peace of mind. I rarely leave reviews, but given how often insurance claims don’t go smoothly, I felt it was important to share a genuinely good, unprompted experience.

nitrogen sensor and the parts are being imported from Germany. Car is a G31 BMW 530D and credits to Brighton BMW also for being my service agent. I was into the second year of my 3 year insurance so really glad I took the option to insure.
