to come in two hours early (at 2 PM instead of 4 PM). When I couldn't accommodate their last-minute change and asked for a refund, I was told it would take 5-10 days. They held my money for nearly two months without ever actually seeing me. Save yourself the frustration and go to a dentist that values their patients' time." I started to have pain. I went back and requested a quote of all the treatments so I could get use my super. A week later, I got an invoice from the root canal treatment not a quote. I requested the medical form in Jan 2026 did not get a response. I emailed again in Feb. I was told that they did not get my email in Jan because the person was on leave (did not get an out of office response by the way). In Feb I was told that my dentist is on leave until 24th Feb 2026 and no one would be able to sign the medical form.

I have sought treatment elsewhere. I think 99Dental is catchy and appears to be cheaper compared to other dental clinics. Best to stick with the ones that have been around longer and experienced especially for complex treatments like root canal and implants.

Cost me $1500 due to negligence, Medicare fraudsters, Over-prescribers – I saw a Dental 99 dentist in August 2022. Xrays were taken. previous dentist failed to see. this dentist gave me a treatment plan for over $5000 worth of work including an extraction and implant for the decayed tooth. I was told someone would call me to discuss the treatment plan. No-one did but they did email me to ask if I was going to book in for the over-prescribed treatments. I responded querying their failure to detect the decay which now meant I needed an extraction and implant and also questioned how I needed no treatment as at March 2023 but by November 2023 I apparently needed over $5000 worth of treatment including multiple crowns. NO REPLY.

There followed months of Dental 99 mostly refusing to communicate but they did admit the dentist missed the decay in August 2022. I saw another dentist for a second opinion. They said the treatment plan was most definitely an extreme case of over-prescribing and that the decayed tooth could probably be saved with a root canal (ie no extraction and implant). This cost me over $1500 where a filling would have been $99 if it had been diagnosed 15 months earlier. Dental 99 took one month to respond to a request from the new dentist for my dental records by which time it was too late and I had already had to pay for more xrays at the new dentist.

Of course, Dental 99 has ignored my emails requesting they reimburse me for the root canal. They do not have a shred of integrity and have been completely unaccountable. they care only about dollar signs and not about taking responsibility for their professional failings.

Further, despite my asking a number of times, as well as the Office of the Health Ombudsman also asking, Dental 99 has refused to answer the questions about the mis-use of my Medicare number to make claims for x-rays by a practitioner in NSW who is not professionally affiliated with Dental 99 and is not a dentist. This is fraud and I will be reporting it to Medicare.

The contempt this company has shown to both me and to the OHO is breathtakingly arrogant.

Check their 5 star reviews here and on Google and decide for yourself if they're all genuine. Hint - they're not.

comfortable after I explained my anxiety. He calmly explained every move step by step; what an absolute pro. It was an amazing experience. I had a rotten wisdom tooth removed and didn't feel a thing. That was three days ago, and I don't feel any pain or discomfort at all.

And the app, you guys, the app is so freaking helpful. You have access to all future and past procedures and your X-rays right from the app. The aftercare is brilliant, and you will get alerts to guide you through the coming days, explaining what you can and can't eat and how to further treat your teeth and gums after your extraction. I cannot recommend Dental 99 highly enough. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

The bottom line is, if you're scared to get work done and hate having dental work done because you had a bad experience, fear no longer; THIS is the place to go. On top of all of that, it is really affordable! They also have a payment plan just in case. Five stars all the way. My family will be using Dental 99 from here on out.

least, so it was worth seeing what else was out there. Almost everywhere else I enquired wanted to charge me at least $5000 so I ended up going back to Dental 99 who were offering to do it for $3497. Still pricey (for someone who has never had anything this serious done) but a bargain compared to the other places I'd researched. They have a "Dental 99 Implant Institute" now specifically for implants, but you can just book through the normal Dental 99 app.

Was hoping to get the same level of service as my partner got and I wasn't disappointed. Thank you so much to Bella (my treatment coordinator) and Zac (dentist) for taking care of me and creating my amazing implant that was finished a couple of weeks ago. Has been amazing to be able to eat everything normally again (although I'm still traumatised by hard fruits)!!

The team at Dental 99 are incredibly friendly and professional, and they made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well-organised. I also love how easy it is to book appointments and make payments through the app, it’s such a convenient feature. Highly recommend!

Top clinic – Had a wonderful experience at dental99 Moorebank clinic yesterday, Ms Rayan is very understandable, knowledgeable and did an amazing job also with the feedback afterwards. Very bad experience – I booked my partner tooth management at Marayong Clinic and paid $99 while booking. They ask us to pay extra $203 for the simple tooth removal. I don’t why they called it $99 in the beginning and ended up charging extra when you get there.

was informed that I needed a Root Canal Treatment (RCT) and crowning, which would cost $3000. I decided to cancel the appointment and requested a refund of the $149 deposit I had paid.

Despite multiple requests over the past month, a person named Kylie Atkinson has assured me of the refund but it has not been processed yet. I have sent around 10 emails but to no avail.

I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism and the company's failure to follow through on promises. I intend to escalate my complaint to the Dental Council of NSW, Ombudsman, and other relevant authorities to seek my refund. The company's current attitude towards clients is tarnishing their reputation, and I believe they need to establish a more transparent and honest relationship with their clients.

cancel the appointment later on as I am running late. I understand that accident happens but with the absolute unprofessional skills that he used I dont think thats write. Eventhough, I live 3 minutes walk from the South Yarra clinic, I had to book another appointment with the Clayton clinic which is 30 minutes drive from where i live.

Not very good – Had a check up & teeth clean about 9 months ago at the Brisbane clinic & when i saw my regular Dentist after moving back to Melb last week the look on his face said it all. He wouldn't comment because its unethical but it meant not good. My teeth look so much better now & would never go on the cheap again.
