He arrived very quickly to help with my car that wouldn't start. I was impressed how quickly he worked out it was a battery issue. He then suggested I might need to buy a new battery but was happy to wait a while to recheck the battery once it was charged, and we found the battery was actually fine. accelorater hard until smoke poured from the exhaust, it made a terrible noise and he quickly turned it off . I asked was the car OK and he said it was just because it hadnt been driven for awhile. The next day the car made the same noise,car wouldn't start and a heap of warning lights went off. Called the mobile mechanic who diagnosed the problem. Car needed to be towed so I calld 24/7 next day. They said 60-90 minutes but if my car was in an awkward spot, they'need to send an additional smaller vehicle at my own cost. Driver arrived over two hours later and after the workshop was closing. The mechanic kindly waited behind. I tried to cancel the towtruck and was told if I rebooked next day I would need to pay full price. So much for "unlimited callouts." The towtruck drive told me the jobs were just posted on the app for the next available in the area. - so the 60-90 minute ETA not reliable too.

Their website says "experienced technicians"and technician is exactly what they are- not mechanics They can replace the battery, carry fuel, change tyres or organise a tow. That's all, even then you don't find out until you use the service how many"exceptions" there are that you have to pay for.

Top notch service! They answered my call instantly, were very clear with expectations. That amazing service followed when the roadside assist arrived. He was funny, very kind, and respectful, and thought out of the box for some solutions to get the car started. It may depend on where you live as to the service you get, but for me in regional Victoria, I was impressed with the service from a local auto electrics guy that 24/7 Roadsideservices uses. brought the battery for him to come back out. I called and they have now said that the mechanic is refusing to come out and 24/7 are refusing to call anyone else outside of my area to see if someone else will come out.

The tow truck subcontractor could charge you significantly if you go past that 20 Kms. ... ... 24/7-Roadside-assist does not employ the tow-truck contractor ... ... and may well not help you if the contractor over-charges you for the excess KMs .... .... ... Unsatisfactory – Even i am a current member,they Didn't serve me as I has bought a new car (which has been enlisted by swaping the old car).No sense of customer care.I had to cancel my membership.They are stubborn ,rude and unsure about customers need.

I have had to use this service twice in less than 12 months and both times both tow truck drivers have been very helpful and have understood what I've needed.
