English, patiently walked me through the entire process, corrected the issue with my travel dates, and arranged for the flight update seamlessly and I received the updated itinerary on the timeline he indicated without a hassle.

The phone line was clear and easy to understand, and the professionalism and kindness of this staff member seriously impressed me. In an industry where customer service experiences can vary greatly, this one really stood out.

Highly recommend for future

Business class on Xiamen was excellent value and an excellent flight. I’ll be back :) – Was worried by the many bad reviews but it was half the price of other business class tickets so decided to try it out with my flight from Melbourne to Paris. It was excellent. storage cavities and very comfy with plenty of leg room. There was an excellent selection of movies. The lounge at Tullamarine was ok but at Xiamen it was crowded and not enough seating. There was a Big range of food available. A hassle was the hour long delay for the connecting flight so that was not ideal. But I’d prefer the delay while they check the plane to make sure it is safe… All in all was a great flight and I’ll definitely be returning

room, in house entertainment, great meals, very good service by very polite crew members, very punctual, not long queues or waits to check in, board or offboard. Since we had overnight stay in xiamen, we were also provided transit hotel with 2 rooms (as we were a family of 4) at no cost that included really good buffet breakfast and also were arranged shuttle transport to and fro at minimal charge. The rooms were very clean, spacious, had a scrumptious breakfast and we had just the rest we needed between the flights. We had such a great flight and would definitely recommend and travel with xiamen again. Need more airlines like this

then $150 dollars more so I had told them I was no longer interested by they still wanted to check with me the price, after a few back and forth ang giving them my three canceled booking numbers they said I have to start everything again at the current price. that their Internet site is inept is one thing, that their client service essentially make you waste a lot of time knowingly that you're not interested in the flight at that price is another thing. given how inept they are on the ground I couldn't trust them in the air.

The website platform isn't every mobile user friendly which seem dodgy and you get a heap on emails in Chinese regarding health declarations, just get yourself a QR code even if your in transit. I just put in airports address to get through Xiamen airport, it was easy enough just need a screenshot of the code.

No fresh food allowed even in transit as you have to go out and then into international area. Hot and cold water refill station throughout the airport so bring yourself some cup noodle and a coffee packet for your 6 hours layover.

Two hours prior to formal advice from the airline an employee telephoned me to advise I had been booted off because a close mate of an airline executive was owed a favour and he had taken my seat. The reasons given did not stack up as the civil war was in the streets of Hong Kong and not in the departure lounges or runways. I missed my reunion with my son in Hangzhou, lost all of the prepaid hotel reservation [AUD$660] and forfeited the funds paid for a Chinese visa [AUD$109.50]. The Crew are so friendly – I had rode MF 806 from Vancouver to Xiamen in July 28 2019, arriving time in Xiamen was July 29 2019. the crew always smile to us and they help me to answer the question that I had, they never refuse to answer my question. Their service are so good that I had wrote them a letter but not for everyone because I didn't prepare enough to every crew, I wish they had a good time and I hope the ticket can cheaper that I can ride with the crew again. Show details

Great Airline connecting melbourne/sydney to China and beyond – This is my first time traveling from Xiamen to Melbourne on board Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the plane was brand new, food was delicious and the flight stewards are very attentive, the whole journey was very pleasant and the 910 hour flight to China has gone very quickly, I can't recommend anymore, its the best airline from China to fly to Australia and hope they will continue this route for many years to come.
