I had a very off-putting experience with this company when trying to get a quote for my car. The salesman I dealt with, Max Webster, was incredibly rude from the beginning. timeframe of one to two weeks, but he kept pushing the issue in a bossy, argumentative tone, insisting that the difference between one week and two would affect the quote.

For contrast, another company I contacted just 10 minutes prior provided a quote instantly, professionally, and with zero issues — which really highlighted how poor this experience was.

His attitude made the entire interaction uncomfortable. When I said I would call back later to book something in(because his behaviour made me not want to proceed immediately over the phone)he just said “ok” and hung up on me. No courtesy, no professionalism.

The experience was so unpleasant that I’ve actually blocked his number. Based on this interaction alone, I would strongly recommend avoiding dealing with Max or this company altogether.

Brought in a 2012 year car, in excellent working order, log books completely up to date, had not been in any accidents and had only 89000kms. then a week later saw it on the Carsales in a car dealership for $14500! Almost a $10000 profit. I knew I was being swindled some money, but thought only a few thousand. Very disappointed.

Extremely Insulting and Time Wasting – I was asked to bring my car for evaluation which is in excellent condition and low kilometers with the possiblity of getting a good price for it. After one of the salesman test drove it, him and his colleague lowballed me. Extremely insulting and time wasting. Their business should be called, "We Want To Lowball You!".

Terrible – I recently took my car to them because I wanted to sell my car because of the cost of living and they wouldn’t take it they said to me that it wasn’t feasible to take the car. does is draw customers in before they screw you over. If I could give 0 stars I would all this business is is a con job and a scam to milk more money then the customers have. And I bet that most don’t know that this business is apart of John Hughes. I will never ever use John Hughes or we want your wheels again after this as I don’t want to be scammed and conned.

Well below market value offered – I was given a price for my vehicle which I found out afterwards was either well below market value for trade in or they use the wrong guide. This is part of John Hughes group which is not clearly indicated when you enter the premises. My experience with John Hughes is not great customer service and it's money first. next one he called was "yep, fair price, we're turning over lots of these at the moment". So we agreed on the figure I wanted and I left the car with them. Cash was in the bank next day. So easy. Could have got more if I went through the hassle of selling it myself, but I'm willing to effectively pay these guys to do that. This is the second time I've used them (this time was the Osborne Park branch, last time Wangara) and both times I feel I've been given a fair price with very quick turnaround and an easy process for me. Would recommend.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE THROUGH CANNINGTON BRANCH – Rang. Got Dani out the next day. Discussed a price. He took it for a drive. Signed the documents. The money was in my account 24 hours later and once it was in my account Dani came back out to collect the car. It was the smoothest sale I have ever made. They are very professional and keep you up to date with everything via text messages the whole way along.

unwanted sale. And the salesman is from John Hughes motor group. As far as I’m concerned it’s nothing but a con job, rip off and scam. You’d be better of keeping the car then going to scam artists like them. Or finding a truly independent business to sell your car rather then to this con job of a business.

service history lot's of additional factory extras etc yet I was offered half the valuation of the car and also as an extra kick in the stones told openly "I'll advertise on the lot at a 50% mark-up" In other words I'll pay you half what it's worth but will sell it for what it's worth. If you want to do yourself a favor and save time and money just go around the corner there's plenty of used car dealerships two of which offered between $3-$4k on top of these thieves just on the presentation and model of the car with additional $ after mechanical inspection. I sincerely feel for anyone who is in a position where they either need to sell or trade and end up using this crowd as yes it's a business but they clearly operate a fine line between robbery and extortion!

Worst deal ever – Took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee to WWYW and was offered low $20K, drove to dealer in Wangara and got 30K. Buyer In Osborne Park was not even interested in looking at the Jeep, would never go back.

Stress-free business deal! Very professional! – Referred to Jason by John Hughes Motors to sell our surplus car. No pressure whatsoever in our negotiations with no sales 'speak' and mutual respect. False Advertising! – I submitted my wife's car recently a 2002 Toyota Corolla to sell and they phoned me back and said that they wouldn't take it, on the fact I hear their own ads on free to air radio 96FM to be exact every day stating they will buy "anything with four wheels" that is false advertising and untrue.

Exceptional Customer Service – Was served by Jason at Osbourne Park ( 20/10/2020) . Straight forward process and received a fair price for my car. The office had a friendly and no pressure atmosphere which made it a pleasent experience. They even paid the uber fare to get home , which saved me from having to catch a train.
