It took my partner to call and finally someone listens and yes the item was missing a vital component, I guess my partner ought to know since he is in the electrical profession. I guess if you’re in a hurry or are on a deadline as I was, it may be better buy it from a brick and motor and just negotiate a better price if you can. Of course I got the lecture to next time let him organise it. I am sure this experience all stems around quality control, so someone in the warehouse should most likely be checking that items have not previously been opened and put back in the box and then back on the shelf to sell. I appreciate that my experience would have been very different if there was nothing wrong with my order, however the reality is for me, I have been put out with the onus on me to return the product & then wait for the replacement. My two batteries from Outbax arrived earlier than indicated.

indicated and what followed was over 12 phone calls and 10 separate emails requesting an update on delivery. It is understandable with the Christmas/New Year there might be some delays however, this experience was excess. Outbax use Hunter Express and the blame was bouncing between the 2 companies.

I finally received a delivery of a generator on the 22 Jan 2026 - however, it was for a much smaller generator, half and size and half the cost of what I had paid for and ordered on the 12 of Dec, 25. Once again we had multiple phone calls and emails to Outbax - they finally acknowledged the incorrect generator was delivered and we finally drove to the 'warehouse' on 27th Jan, 2026 and were able to collect the generator for which we paid. It took over 6 weeks to get the generator we purchased ! Only then because we were constantly following up.

If you have a delivery deadline or value your time, avoid Outbax at all costs (whilst they still use HunterExpress), use Bunnings, ebay or another reputable store that values customer service and uses a reliable transportation system.

I bought a new generator, specifically manufactured in Australia, to support locals, get better quality product, as well as getting support myself, if needed. times within a couple of weeks. Even when it started, it was always a chore (10-15 pulls), then at the 4th time, it would not start. I got a local mechanic to look at it, then after contacting you we sent the required video etc, finally we received a spark plug and started coil from you. It was the started coil. It now starts after 1-3 pulls. Your staff were very helpful. I decided to try to fix it here, on Magnetic island, due to the long transport to you, and to save costs. I had understood from your staff - that while they could organise the pick up - I would have to pay the roughly $120-130 freight and packaging. It's only recently, that I heard that if a new product is faulty, then the manufacturer would normally refund the cost of freight. If I knew that, I would have sent it back to you immediately. At the end, you kindly refunded the cost of my mechanic - $200 - who came about 5 times. Thanks Best KAi

We bought a Laz-e-spa from Outbax. Ordering was easy and the delivery was quick. We wanted a spa but did not want to pay thousands of dollars and then find we did not use it. such a small box. The assembly was a breeze. The quality of the manufacturing is good. It only took a couple of hours to fill but 12 hours to heat up to 38 deg C, but on a 10 amp circuit that was to be expected. We had an electrician install a separate circuit for it so we would not get problem with it tripping out. The amount of chlorine required because of the sanitizing of the hot water is a bit breath taking but I cannot see how one would be able to fit, say, a UV unit instead. If we upgrade in the future that would be on the list to be able to do. There is a mistake in the instructions for running it. We live in a frost prone area so freeze protection is important. The instructions infer on one hand say the freeze protection cuts in automatically at 6 deg but also say you have to run the heater. That I believe is wrong because if you have to run the heater it is going to be at 38 deg all the time and it's going to be awfully expensive to keep filled. We bought the St Moritz. I think the number of people they say you can get in a spa is a bit ambitious. The St Moritz takes 4 comfortably and 5 at a pinch. I cannot buy a thermal cover for it in Australia and other accessories I had to buy from Temu. Outbax are missing out on a lot of upselling income. Would I recommend it, yes.

A little ripper From deciding on a 3.5 Trekgen inverter generator, ordering it online, and having it delivered, took 2.5 working days. Excellent service. Wrong item supplied. Onus was placed on me to prove Outbax made an error, accusing me of being mistaken (apparently company doesn't accept it can make an error). company would not replace incorrectly supplied item, with no explanation as to why, I requested a refund. Over a week passed with no acknowledgement of refund request. All I received was vague assurances that 'the issue would soon be resolved' and requests that I 'be patient'. Almost a month passed from the date of original online order, and it was only when I threatened escalation that suddenly (within minutes) my refund was made. This was my first order from Outbax. It will be my last. The entire process was a complete debacle. Al I received from Outbax was excuses. I cannot recommend this shoddy company.

Replacement for a faulty fuel tank that was leaking on the seam. I rang them twice and they we're going to call me when they had them back in stock. No phone call I checked online 2 weeks after myself to see if they where back in stock and they where so I ordered a replacement at my cost. Must be an issue with them that's why they had no stock poor design.

UPDATE: I have increased the rating as eventually Outbax did eventually get a unit back to me (although they refuse to offer any warranty on this despite the problem I experienced with the Lazyspa pump unit being a well documented one). Very cheap price, short delivery time and nice extras like sending the a digital version of the instruction manuel before it arrived so that you can get the correct oil for when it arrives. Only downside is my free bonus item didnt ship with my main order. Show reply

Voltx12v 200W solar mat received in good condition (visual), but I have not used the unit yet due to inclement weather. Only downside was the condition of the outer packaging which was seriously compromised during transit. Australia Post have made aware of this issue. Very impressed with the quality for such a budget generator. Choke is a bit flimsy so need to be delicate with that but runs well and fairly quiet on eco mode. Instructions a bit vague on eco mode etc. also don’t forget to oil the foam filter before use. Highly recommend, hopefully it will last the distance. Show reply

This is my 2nd Voltx power station that i have purchased for my unpowered shed which now equals 4200 w. These units work great & cover all my needs plus now i am ready for any blackouts. I do have solar on house so when i need to charge these stations i will just charge in daylight hours. Highly Recommended. Show reply

Purchased this Generator 30 months, worked faultlessly until our last trip, has around 60 hrs use on it. Fault was in regards to ECO mode not working, contacted Outbax followed instructions , still not working, returned to Outbax for warranty, they quickly resolved the problem and returned. Just like to say they were very good and they stand by there length of warranty. Would highly recommend Outbax and the products they sell. Show reply
