gave very poor service, told us they had put the wrong address on the item and they would email us after a month if we hadn't queried the item. He said while they say the delivery will be ANOTHER 8 days, it should leave with the courier in 2-3 days. NOT GOOD ENOUGH 4WD SUPERSTORE.

shipping, which clearly stated 2-day delivery. After two days, only the accessories arrived — the actual tent (the main thing I ordered) didn’t. I called them and was told “it was too big for the truck” and that it would arrive “tomorrow.”

Tomorrow came. No tent.

I called again. This time it was “the next day.”

Then Friday came, and suddenly the story changed to “it will arrive in 5 days.” At that point I asked if I could simply pick it up from the depo, since clearly shipping wasn’t happening. Their response? “Maybe, we’ll let you know.” They never did.

After all that, they offered a refund. Fine. But when I called the next day to check on it, they told me I would need to post the accessories back myself, wait for them to receive them, and only then would they process the refund.

So let’s recap the adventure: • Paid extra for express shipping • Didn’t receive the main item • Given different promises every day • No follow-up to help me • Then told I need to spend more time and effort returning items just to get a refund for their mistake

This was an incredibly frustrating experience. For a well-known Australian outdoor retailer, the logistics, communication, and customer service were shockingly poor.

Camping gear is supposed to help people get outdoors — not trap them in a customer service loop.

purchased online via Click and Collect at Tentworld. I went to the Brendale store to collect the items. As we had no power following November storms in Brisbane, I was desperate, I had informed the staff of the situation as well. The battery looked fine however the box that the solar blanket came in was in quite poor condition. The Tentworld staff member asked me to sign for the items before I was actually able to see them. When I queried the poor condition of the box I was told that it sustained damage in transit but that the product was new. I asked to swap it for another one and my request was declined. Our power came on later that evening so I never tried the solar blanket. However in January during after another power outage I got the chance to try the solar blanket. It was charging the battery at 6% in an hour. The manual says 4 hours to full charge. I contacted Tentworld about this and they have been making me jump through hoops and are denying the fault exists. Such a massive waste of time! I have so many photos to show it is faulty, I have tested the blanket with 2 different batteries and provided them with ample evidence, and have now had to lodge claims with my bank, the manufacturer, Office of Fair Trading and ACCC. Spare yourself the drama and shop elsewhere.

So very happy with Kings. Our generator stopped working, took it back, they tested...no compressuon. Replaced without any issues, could not be more helpful, even threw in a cover and a head lamp. Thanks kings Kangaroo flat, you guys are champions.

They appear to sell items that are not actually in stock. After placing my order, I emailed to request a refund when I realised there was an issue, and this was before the item had even been shipped. Despite that, they refused to process a refund and would only offer store credit.

It’s frustrating that customers are not given a proper refund option when the order hasn’t even been dispatched yet. Selling items that are not in stock and then refusing refunds is not acceptable. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing here.

are coming apart at the sole, so I dashed out of work early to drop into the Morrabin store and pick another pair up. I walked in actually Waring my old pair I knew what brand, style and size I needed just wanted to pick up a pair pay for them and leave. There was already an overseas couple being served by an elderly gentleman, admittedly they were purchasing quite a few items but I was totally ignored while they discussed there travels and the different items they might like and such. I walked up and down the shoe display trying to make myself obvious but they were totally oblivious to me. Eventually a younger worker came out to see if I needed help. I said yup I need a pair of them and showed him my boots. I had a boxed new pair within minutes. Then oh my god exactly the same scenario at the counter, with another over seas couple paying for multiple items. Again another elderly gentleman serving was discussing travels and the weather and giving customs advice for the airport ect ect, on and on. Eventually a different younger guy came over and told me he would generate an invoice for me and took the boots back of house and return a few minutes later with an invoice to ring up so I could pay. He actually had to interrupt the older sales person and lean over him to reach the EFTPOS scanner. Who was still waffling on to another overseas couple there before me. Both the couples being served I assume would offer that the service they received was outstanding. Regrettably it was at the expense of a return customer who just wanted to run in and run out who couldn't get any

to let me know how long the delay was and to offer me the option of waiting for the items to come in and send everything in one package or receiving the items they had now and sending the outstanding items as soon as they came in. I took the second option with no extra costs for two deliveries. The first package came with good tracking and the correct items, Mandy called and emailed to let me know the second package was on it’s way ( in the time frame I was originally told) all items were as described and very well made and packaged. It has been a pleasure to do business with a company that provides a great level of service and goes the extra mile to do what they say they will do.

Toilet at the time of this purchase, but when I came across this one from Joolca I knew I had to have it! The design from inside to out is perfect. Streamline and tidy from the outside and the two separate cassettes is a genius idea. As a female I use to find empty time to be a workout (to heavy and bulky) but now it is so much more easier and lighter. I'm definitely going to buy the eco cassette next or maybe hot water for the van! Also the customer service from Joolca is 100%. My discount code wasn't working at the checkout, so I just checked out without it. But second thoughts kicked in so I contacted Joolca and they processed my discount code with a credit back to my original payment. It was so quick and hassle free, wonderful service. Just fitted the Rhino rack platform 6 to my 2025 Gxl 300 series and the rack is nice but the noise is absolutley riddiculas. Anything over 70km and the noise is so bad. I would not have bought one if i knew this.

their phone when you call them, they don’t respond to you via their text messaging service which is their recommended contact preference. Essentially this company ghosts you and you will never get a response! So if you buy something from them and you want to return it within the 30 days as per their policy, good luck because you’re now stuck with the item. When you buy stuff from this, use a pay service such as PayPal or something similar

On the 16th March I returned to the store to exchange them and the Manager there informed me as I had worn them outside they could not be returned. I asked where am I supposed to try the shoe to see if they fit. She told me I should have just worn them inside my house, I said I did not buy slippers I bought walking shoes for walking. She told me It was company policy and they would not be exchanged. I told her I was not informed of that by the sales person, she still maintained that is was company policy.
