Too many ridiculous hidden costs to buy from this place. I recently went to have a look at their stock and test drive one of their cars. I was very keen to buy because the car was really nice and a very reasonable price. Once I got into the sales room though the price suddenly jumped from $15,000 to 23,000. When I tried to negotiate they were… Read more

extremely stingey and were only willing to drop the price about $500 and wouldn't even agree to do 12 months of rego to counter costs.

When looking at the price break down I noticed that their processing fees and warranty fees were the massive work horses of extra costs coming in at $4000 for the 5y Warranty and $3000 for the processing fee. It's all typical shady used dealership tactics that try to get you invested in a car but $8000 is hidden costs is completely unreasonable.. Just put it on the sticker price at that point because if you've got an extra $8000 you'd be looking at much better cars.

Auto Deals Victoria, 479 Mariondah Hwy, Ringwood,VIC, 3134 DON’T EVEN CONSIDER BUYING FROM THIS CROOKED DEALER. My son bought a Lexus is250. He sells cars which are given roadworthy but have many faults and are unroadworthy. We had a vehicle inspection done by another crooked company with the only fault they found being the battery which actually… Read more

had nothing wrong with it, we received a full refund for this dreadful inspection. My mechanic checked the car over thoroughly. The list of faults are, front disc brakes rotates, both front tyres worn on inner edges, back exhaust smashed and damaged and bangs against car whilst driving, back rear bumper loose and lower cover needs resecuring, parking sensors not working, needs 4 full wheel alignments front and rear, socket missing for front wheel nuts, car stereo vibrating, electric master switch faulty, front wiper inserts needs replacing, I have all the photo’s and documentation to prove all of these faults. I tried texting and ringing this totally dishonest dealer many times and even went to his car yard but it was locked and nobody was on the premises. Please do not risk buying from this dealer who has falsely advertised this vehicle as having new tyres and everything else roadworthy and in good working order which we also have proof . I HAVE REPORTED THIS DEALER TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND NOW HAVE DONE A VCAT APPLICATION. I GIVE THIS CROOKED DEALER A ZERO RATING. BUYER BEWARE

  Fair Incentive

Nightmare of my life – Their Service department is the worst you can imagine - Car was delivered to me with Hose leaking fumes into the cabin, parking brake sensor faulty - which they fixed after 2 years and 20 visits to Service manager [Name Removed] - worst guy ever Then when I decided to sell the car - [Name Removed] charges me $220 - did not give me the RWC saying… Read more

Fog light come on but doesn’t go off (only goes off by ignition) then I googled - there is a certain pattern in which it has to be done to turn off the fog light - so [Name Removed] lied in order to charge the $220 (for inspection only) and didn’t give me the RWC

[Name Removed] IS SUCH a horrible guy - you don’t want to see him for service ever - he should be fired for misconduct

Best Dealership in Melbourne – I just bought my DREAM car from Melbournes Cheapest Cars, 3 weeks ago. I'm so glad I did because I got a fair deal on my trade in which was 7 years old. After one week of driving the car and using all of it's special features, the cars computer told me it was time to replace the 12 volt battery. I contacted the team and they said bring it in… Read more ·  1

TOMORROW, it's a standard procedure and we will replace the battery , and it's all under warranty. Not a problem. Dealerships often have very bad business practises and bad reputations but not these guys. I would not go anywhere else. There was no hassle, no problem, just professional and cheerful good old fashioned service.

Dodgy dealer. Go elsewhere – Bought a car there and finance was approved with no hassle, but car had 232 km on the clock and didn't suit, so returned within the cooling off period and picked out a better, albeit more expensive car. Then the nightmare began. [Name Removed] kept asking for more and more support material, which I provided, then she kept moving the goal posts on… Read more

the deposit I'd paid (3K, they wanted an additional 2K AND said I'd have to cancel the 3 year warranty originally offered) That meant if the new car had issues, I'd get stuck with a lemon. [Name Removed]'suddenly discovered' new car had a 1 year factory warranty, I agreed to a sale with this (even though I'd already signed the better contract) then I was sent a different contract to their standard, with all kinds of additional costs, locking me into a 7 year deal with no flexibility and with high interest, paying a car valued at 37,000 at 57000! AND at a higher weekly repayment cost than advertised. False advertising and deceitful. I canned the deal on the spot. Do NOT fall for their false charm and excuses. They are dodgy as they come. I will be reporting them to consumer affairs.

The Gist of Buying Car – I recently purchased a wonderful Kluger Hybrid , Toyota car from Melbourne's cheapest car dealership, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. professionalism, making the entire buying process smooth and enjoyable.

The car itself has exceeded all my expectations. It’s spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the modern features my family needs. The performance is impressive, and it handles beautifully on the road. Whether we're running daily errands or going on long road trips, this car provides a safe and pleasant experience for everyone.

I highly recommend both the Melbourne Cheapest Cars dealer and the car to anyone looking for a reliable and family-friendly vehicle. Thank you to [Name Removed] and the amazing team for their excellent service and for helping us find the perfect car.

Best place to buy a car in Melbourne – I bought a car from MCC in November 2021. In my dealings with the sales department, they don’t negotiate. However in saying that, the car was very reasonably priced. It was presented well, and the sales staff were lovely. However, the aftersales support is beyond any car dealer I have dealt with in my time of owning car. Leonard in the service… Read more

department will go above and beyond for his customers. I purchased the extended warranty, and when my car had a minor fault, Leonard quickly sorted it out without a fuss no questions asked.

Leonard lent me a car to drive, and they even replaced the petrol they used in my car test driving it to make sure it was fault free.

I can’t recommend these people enough, I know if I buy any car from them in the event something goes wrong it will be sorted quickly and efficiently by the knowledgeable staff there.

And an absolute 10 stars to Leonard, he is worth his weight in gold.

Thanks MCC team!

Refund takes ages on waiting – I've made a $500 down payment on a car purchase around June. then tried financing lending, but sadly had no luck after a few attempts. The salesperson informed me that I will receive my refund of my down payment in three to five business days. But I still haven't received my refund almost a month now. Hopefully, this won't happen to other people who rush to take money but refunding it too slowly.

Like buying a car from [Name Removed] – High pressure, little care. [Name Removed], the salesman, was good, but the atmosphere there is like a sausage factory. I'll wait to see if there is any after-sale follow up. Not holding my breath. Don't just sign every piece of paper they throw at you: and they will. 24 hours after I picked up my car I was getting low oil warnings.

Still waiting – Still waiting on a phone call from the boss Eddie to deal with a complaint I had, no phone call shows me what type of company this is, they don’t care about customers, very dissatisfied & will never recommend anyone to this place or tradies haven since it’s owned by the same man that didn’t bother to pick up the phone to help one of his customers

Tyres not to code – Do not recommend and will not recommend Melbourne's Cheapest cars to anyone. We purchased a suv and the service at the time of purchased was great. It was not until we brought the car home, had the car checked by a mechanic and found that the back 2 tyres were not to code. Initially, they tried to say that they were fine but my partner had to… Read more

insiti that it was checked by a certified mechanic. The sales person had paper work that was supposed to be emailed the day we paid for the car however this did not come through for days. We then chose not to sign the transfer document of our trade in car until the tyre situation was sorted. They continued to press us about signing the emailed document and when speaking to the manager he accused us of using this document as 'blackmail' and reminded us that we could return the car if we weren't happy. If I didn't have a family, I would've returned the car the same day purely due to the service we received. They expected us to drive 50mins back to the workshop to have the tyres sorted (apparently they were doing this out of good will) , 1 hour for it to be replaced and then another 50 min journey back. Having a newborn baby, it simply wasn't good enough, particularly when the car was sold with tyres that are not legal. They were happy to replace the tyres and have us get it professionally installed by a mechanic but were not willing to pay for the labour cost, nor were they willing to compensate us for the time wasted. This should have been up to the company to sort it out with no interruption to us. In the end, we had a friend travel for us as my partner had to work and I was home with an infant. Our friend noticed when driving, the wheel alignment was out and demanded this get sorted at the time of service also. This was done, however our friend had to wait for hours and was driven to a shopping centre to pass time. He too has an infant at home! The point is, the issue should not have disrupted us and there was no compensationfor their faults. Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews, there are many other reviews that seem to seem to be unhappy about their purchase. Please make sure to take a mechanic before purchasing from this company.

Review for Melbourne cheapest cars – Warning to people buying from Melbourne cheapest cars. Be careful if you are using their finance. They do not give you the full information before you sign. After you will find that the car you are going to buy will end up costing you double the amount you bought it for with their high interest and with all the other HIDDEN COSTS that they don't… Read more

tell you about. Do your homework ask questions and quotes on paper so you can read them as they know how to mumble when they speak to the point that you can miss the most important part of the deal. THE FINANCE SIDE OF IT. Having said that We did end up buying the car but not through their finance ,after we signed and we read we realised what was going to happen and we had to fight hard to scrap the contract. Do not drive the car away until you are satisfied and what you thought you were going to pay is just that with no hidden costs..

Issues with the Delivery – Really liked the experience dealing with their team (Patrick/Preeti etc) until the delivery date. delivering it to our house - but nothing!

We did try to resolve it , but the best they offered was. 50$ voucher which wouldnt have even covered a proper clean , leave aside detailing. Even though the delivery process was impeccable besides cleaning , I wouldnt trust them again with any expensive purchase. Would strongly suggest to pick up vehicle from their store , so at least you know what state you are getting it in. The other thing to keep in mind is that their prices are not drive away - unlike other dealers. They do advertise it accordingly, but just something to keep in mind that you will need to pay stamp duty on top.

Kia Cerato – Brooke and the crew, including the delivery driver were fantastic from start to finish. I was a little apprehensive during this COVID period because I hadn't physically seen the car. On it's arrival I was more than happy with the purchase. Looks like new!! This is the second car I've got from them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

Good lockdown Buy – I decided to buy a car during lockdown, a huge leap in faith and trust. I went through car sales.com and found my perfect car eventually at melb cheapest cars. I realised I bought a car from these guys 15 years ago and they were friendly and understanding of my concerns then too and I never had a problem with that previous car . I would definitely recommend melbournes cheapest cars to others!

Good experience – In march 2020 I bought a 2014 GXL Landcruiser trayback with gvm upgrade and bar/winch,new tray, etc. Adrian Frisina picked the car out for me after I explained what I was after. Great test drive. Gourav then organised half finance, extra warranty and allianz insurance. Small detail with cruise control was fixed, I was reimbursed $165 for autoelectrician. Basically, I couldn`t be happier with my purchase. Thanks guys. Tony Burrows.

Discrimination – This is a story about the NDIS and how if you walk in with a disabled child then you get discriminated against. Melbourne's Cheapest Cars probed and probed into our private life to find out about our financial situation that they don't need to know about. Absolutely disgusting. We are protected people fake username provided. The documents we… Read more

provided are enough to get the car loan. Why would we have a trust from an Accounting Firm that is in the Top BRW Accounting Firms. We chose a car that is only worth $28000 because simply it is $140 per week and we want to pay cash to clear it out. Why would I have a trust for $140 per week. Seriously do not ever ever judge a book by its cover and also do not probe into peoples private lives. I asked what you needed before you decided to probe further. Absolutely disgusting. You do not need all that information for a car loan and I said I wanted to ask my accountant but you said no you wanted the sale. Now you are part of a new mini-series and book about how we are protected people and you tried to probe into our private life that is simply private and we wish it to be private. This is discrimination because we choose not to give out our details but you just wanted the quick sale. I will advocate until the cows come home well in this case where everyone wants to be part of our lives and can see we can make money quickly and you can't even give out a simple car loan. Lol. Gold. What comes around goes around.
