We ordered the Getaway Sofa chaise 3-seater in the lovely green (Kakadu). Very quick delivery and easy to set up. Though it was easy to set up if you have spare cash it might be worth paying extra for them to setup the couch and get rid of the boxes. The sofa is extremely comfortable and suits our living room perfectly. The adjustable chaise is great too, we can arrange it accordingly to suit our living space. The couch is a great and comfy option. The drawers underneath are very handy to store options. We also have enough room on the couch for guests to comfortably sleep on. My only downside is the fabric pills easily and is not a great option for pets as their claws snag. Show details

Warning to all,don’t waste your money on this couch,you will be disappointed!

Ended up buying a different brand after owning this for 1 year – The seat cushions continue to move when you sit on them and you are always finding yourself adjusting them to the back so there is no gap that the back cushion fall into. After spending $3,500 on a couch, a year later I have purchased a different brand because I am so disappointed with it.

Great sofa, no complaints! – Very comfortable, needed a smaller sofa to fit in an awkward space and it’s perfect, it feels large and roomy and so comfortable for a 2 seater, plus the added storage underneath is such a bonus.

We also loved that we had the 120 night trial to be able to test and return if it wasn't for us, as our last couch purchase from a different company left us very unhappy and stuck with an awful couch. I have also purchased several pillows from Koala over the years and have been very happy with both the product and service so figured it was worth a shot!

There was a large wait for us to receive our couch - we ordered online on 24/11/2023 and didn't receive it until 12/04/24, however they were very clear upfront before we had even completed the purchase that the couches were on backorder and the earliest delivery wasn't until March.

There were then several delays due to the floods in Qld, but Koala were transperant and constantly giving us updates with plenty of notice of changes to expected delivery dates. They were also clear that the delivery would be numerous large boxes, so it was good to have that expectation ahead of time! We can't fault their customer service, it was fantastic.

The delivery went smoothly, and it was a piece of cake to put together. We also really appreciated that the packaging was almost entirely cardboard! So much easier to dispose of than styrofoam and plastic.

The couch itself we are incredibly happy with! It's is VERY comfortable. When you first unpack it you may notice a few "dips" in the seats, but these even out and go away after a few days once it has time to fluff up.

The under couch storage is fantastic and there is a lot of room, great for cushions or blankets, or gaming headsets/controllers.

Our only complaints, though I wouldn't really call it that, are:

- the cushions to support your back slip down easily and then push the seat cushions out a bit, but is easily fixed with a quick fluff/reposition at the end of the night - the couch is a little low if you want to sit a bit more forward on the seats with your feet on the floor instead of leaning back, so feels like your knees are too high - if you have pets (we have 2 cats) that are inclined to use the couch as a scratching post the fabric instantly balls/pulls. Our cats never used to do this on our old couches, but they decided to also test out the new couch! They quickly got bored and stopped, but it's very noticeable considering they only had a few cheeky scratches. But as with any piece of furniture we knew the pets were likely to make it look a bit loved, and we can most likely clean it up by using a de-piller.

Overall we are really really happy with our purchase and would highly recommend purchasing through Koala! Though I would advise waiting for one of their sales, as we saved $1,500 off the price of ours! My husband often falls asleep on the couch it is that comfortable :)

Excellent product, super fast delivery – I recently purchased the getaway three seater sofa along with a matching single seater. Both look amazing (outback edition) and are so comfortable. Delivery was super quick, the only issue I had was the amount of packaging involved. Good experience – Super easy couch to put together and is very comfortable. Love the fabric Only issue is with the draws, which just roll on the floor rather than attached tracks, and having tiled floors, the draws make a bit of noise. Great Couch – Really good couch. Note the back and bottom cushions have zippers and can be washed. I was told by them this wasn't possible which is really wierd. Maybe they thought I was talking about the clothed frame? Also the drawers are not amazing but are functional. They wheel out and require a bit of arranging but they aren't all that bad and not worth complaining about.

Close to perfect but with a major flaw – The sofa is super comfortable, lovely material and well designed, except for one part (or two) - the drawers. They won't run on the couch frame, but rather just roll on the floor underneath the seats. There are two major problems with this. has no effect on the other. It's unsightly and inconvenient as you're constantly pushing it back together.

Secondly, the cushions overhang the top of the face of the drawers, so when they're empty (we haven't filled ours yet) any legs hanging over the front of the cushions, causes the drawers to jump up at their rear, resulting in an awful bang every time they drop.

It's a significant design flaw and has a disproportionately negative experience on an otherwise fantastic sofa.
