The sales experience with King was excellent. The sales lady we dealt with was friendly, professional and helped us put our couch together. Took about three months to deliver from time of order. We have been waiting excitedly for our brand new Jasper lounge to arrive. Sadly piece by piece as the delivery drivers unpacked it we were horrified to see filthy stains on most of the lounge cushions. We called King Furniture at that moment and they spoke to the driver and requested he take photos. They said we could as well. The driver said… Read more

they would replace the damaged covers., Well not the case King have opted for a cleaner to remove the black oily stains on our white linen lounge. Absolutely devastated, this lounge as you can see in pictures is more than a dirty spot. The driver mentioned this was new packaging for them and had in his 7 years of working for them seen anything this bad. We wouldn’t recommend this company, we spent a lot of money on this QUALITY lounge that has just shown us the filthy warehouse or container it came from. We have been offered cleaning. We don’t want unnecessary chemicals and will take this further unless we get a better response other than we are so sorry. Very unhappy King Furniture.

3/3/2026 This is an update to the above review. King Living (K.L.) did send out somebody to clean the sofas, took along time but i think that was more to do with the cleaning company than K.L.. After a number of months King Living will be sending out new covers to replace the stained covers which is a good result. They haven't arrived yet but are on their way. I would still recommend that King Living improve the packaging for their sofas to avoid these dramas and costs with future clients.

We are happy with our Jasper 2. However the fabric recommended to us is terrible. It attracts fluff that is difficult to get off. We have bought all sorts of lint removers but it still is terrible. We have resorted to putting throw rugs all over it. We have had only for 18 months and we will have to get it recovered as it ruins our living area. Would anyone know how much to recover with a durable fabric? Show details ·  1

an estimated time frame on this and won’t give me a refund on the deposit i have paid. This is on a bed that costs $14,200 and it’s nearing 5 months since order date!! Will be submitting a complaint through the ACCC

stopped working about 2 weeks outside the warranty and now a bolt has snapped clear off the frame causing us restricted access to the under bed storage. Trying to get KING to honour their warranty has been so hard. The customer service Is terrible, especially considering what you pay. The warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on and they are completely unreasonable. Definitely not value for money!! I’d stick with Nick Scali.

Jasper purchased 3 years & still just as disappointed – I left my first review nearly 3 years when we first purchased our Jasper Package 9. My issues now with our overpriced sofa are pretty much the same as then. At the time measurements of the different models weren't adequately explained to us. we were recommended to buy a Jasper 9-13. We were not able to try out the various models in the showroom, which proved problematic. My partner had never liked this lounge (the seat isn't deep enough) and doesn't really sit on it at all. I only sit/ lie on the chaise. We ended up buying a second hand Jasper lounge (with deep cushions) which we both much prefer. Other issues - the newer Jasper's cushions make a crinkly sound when you lean back which is still annoying. Fluff/ lint/ crumbs seems to adhere to the fabric very easily. The back cushions aren't comfortable (as in you don't sink into them), and yet they aren't supportive either!

Our older secondhand Jasper seems to be a much better sofa overall. The back cushions are more comfortable (not crinkly at all). The generous size of the sofa, the depth of the seat & height of the back make it a much more comfortable. The fabric despite being faded and worn, seems to be of a better quality. So, I would say the quality of King Living has gone down over the years. Also being able to try before you buy is so important. The various packages (for example Jasper A1 & Jasper 9) are very different in reality! It was a very expensive lesson for me! when you pay over $5000 you expect/ hope to be happy with it.

We have purchased the jasper leather lounge for over 15 years and 3 of the zippers were broken due to wear and tear. Kings Living repair team fixed them for us at a minimal cost and did such a fantastic job that we are very happy with their service. Jason Wu was very attentive and helpful with us. Show reply

Great quality couch and came a week earlier than expected. The delivery/install team of Francois and Achilles were fantastic, I would highly recommend paying for the additional service. Of all the couches/sofas/lounges/divans/chaises I've ever owned...this is the very best. Built with quality care and timeless design. Whilst that sounds like ad copy... it isnt. However, all this is undone by the ridiculous way the 3 pieces are joined by a component King Living call “Magic Joiners” (4 of them in my case). There is nothing magic about these things. There are 2 required per join (from underneath) and they are supposed to firmly hold the couch together. However, when two physically fit men are unable to push the couch together hard enough to get more than one of these on per join (and ultimately give up), the design team has a lot to answer for. The physical exertion put into trying to join this couch had to be seen to be believed.

The result is that I have a $17k couch that has to be pushed back together morning, noon and night and comes apart while you’re lying on it. It would be laughable if it hadn’t cost so much money. In trying to be smart in the design, they’ve taken what is generally a simple design feature of any couch and botched it to the point it ruins the experience of owning the couch as it won’t stay together.

I’ll keep trying to install them but if I can’t make it fit I’ll likely have no choice but to manually join the pieces with flat metal plates and tek screws. Not the dream.

Looks are not important I would give no star – Looks fabulous but it’s saggy from day one and unfit for purpose!!!! and I supposed to be that way and I’m supposed to fluff up the back rest pillows daily….. thanks @king living that you have a no happiness is guaranteed policy. Should be ashamed. I had twice technical support come out once to stick more foam into it and now the chaise is like a mountain and you roll off, second time he came to fit better pillow cover inside the back rests as the duck feather spike all the time ( even after the second insert went it) and they don’t keep the shape…. But that didn’t help much either. Spoke to them but got told that there is nothing wrong. Therefore I can’t honestly recommend this couch, no wonder so many are marketplace for sale…. Very sad for what it costs

Terrible service by King Living no QC/QA for a high-end furniture manufacturer! – This is now the second time with the SAME item being redelivered (Jasper outdoor couch) due to a fault with one of the pneumatic arms. The first time was in June 2023. It had to be brought back to their warehouse (to be either repaired or swapped out for a new couch). and bolts still in their plastic bag not attached to the couch. Can one believe this?? King living receive my call in June and note the dissatisfaction of a client the first time. You would think this is enough for them to purposefully check that the redelivered item will have no further issues and is good to go. Instead they ignore the quality assurance /quality control that should always accompany such service, especially from how they market themselves (high-end luxury brand!) They must be kidding. Don’t fool yourselves people. They want your money and are quick in taking it; there is no care given to their products. My recent redelivery of the SAME item is proof of this. What confidence do I have now that the item /seat they’ve given me has been QA/QC controlled and it won’t fall apart??? I don’t! If I’d do this again, I wouldn’t be ordering from king living. Very disappointed and frustrated by the lack of care from a high luxury brand!

2 Year Review - Comfort is unrivalled but a few issues – Comfort is unrivalled but 3 main issues. 1. Too many feathers come out 2. The main issue is that the back cushions have completely lost their shape and they have to be fluffed daily They aren't shaped right anymore and don't sit up properly ruining the aesthetic. 3. Very disappointed – Purchased Zaza in sea.spray fabric in late 2020. Now less than 1 yr old. Only two adults in the house. The pilling is terrible. Fabric not fit for purpose The seat cushions have visibly compressed at the teo ends we yse the most and had become uncomfortable to sit on. Despite fabric protection it stains very easily
