“Forgot” to refund $1000 security deposit on a property we never even ended up staying in. When I booked I thought I was going to be dealing with Stayz, not some associated property group with no contact phone number. Sent an email to Getawayz following up on deposit refund - ended up having to phone Stayz and have their consultant call Getawayz… Read more

while I sat on hold. Was advised the refund may then take a further 14 days before the funds reach my account via Getawayz software. Communication is limited and delayed… I needed to copy & paste most messages from the messenger portal into an email otherwise they’d be overlooked. Inflexible cancellation-refund policy (being zero option to negotiate cancellation or appeal). Other groups like Air BNB have clearer and more reasonable refund terms. I recommend travellers take a moment to review “[Name Removed]” earlier review about her experience and only book directly through Air BNB. Very easy to book and make payment however.

and again over the duration of our stay simply to touch base and reassure. We were provided clear instructions on house rules, check-in information and check-out details. The Bondi home is very homely, warming and welcoming. The decor is best described as boho and modern, and gives some elements of Byron Bay, whilst still keeping true to the beaches of Bondi. The house and bedrooms are decorated with large, gorgeous artworks of Bondi! I was also obsessed with the heritage ceilings! The house was provided with perfect amenities, and we were provided with some lovely complimentary beer and crackers - which is a nice touch! I highly recommend for anyone to stay here if you are looking for a Bondi getaway, whether that be as a couple, of a small group of friends. The house is an easy 15 minute stroll to Bondi Beach, and you will pass plenty of cute cafes, restaurants and shops. 11/10!!! Thanks for your hospitality, James! :)

Latitude Kirribilli - great property, location and locale – The apartment is in a great location in Kirribilli, within walking distance of the train that goes across the Harbour Bridge (15 min walk) and the ferry to Circular Quay (5 min walk) - or just walk across the bridge to the Rocks and CBD (30-40 min walk). you go down the hill to the side and rear of the house to a little wharf. Kirribilli has lots of convenient shops and food places including an excellent Thai, Indian and sandwich shop.

The apartment itself is well equipped, comfortable and air-conditioned, with a decent kitchen, and a sizeable living room/dining area. Two bedrooms are downstairs - here's the only snag: downstairs is via an iron spiral staircase which is steep and narrow. If you are physically challenged, this may prove too much, and it's surprising how many times you'll need to do the 'journey'. Don't try to take big cases down those stairs - better to use the steps at the side of the house and go through the gate from the street; quite a few steps but so much easier than the spiral stairs.

One bathroom is downstairs with an excellent shower, toilet and small sink; the other is upstairs, with a washer/dryer (which takes forever to wash/dry, but is handy) and a decent shower, and toilet.

As the bedrooms are downstairs, one of them can get a little noisy due to the footsteps of the neighbours, but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were big enough. There's also a living room area downstairs with couch and TV.

All in all, a showcase accommodation; not cheap, but given the location, views and locale, definitely recommended, and Getawayz was great in communicating with us - entry codes, property info, etc.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Sydney, enhanced by the property we stayed in.

Booked The Bungan. The location is incredible, with beautiful views. However, our experience was tainted by the state of cleanliness on arrival. We had to spend over two hours cleaning the house, which was disappointing. There were numerous dirty handprints on the walls, mould and grime on the bathroom door frames, ants in one of the beds, and spider webs along with spiders in most corners of the walls. Show details

floor where this apartment is located as having NO INSULATION, and requiring work to PROTECT AGAINST HEAT TRANSMISSION. Water from the shower floods into the toilet...which has no door, and the fridge is overtaken by a block of ice..... We prepaid for 5 nights...the heat in there on a moderately warm day/evening of the first day was INSUFFERABLE. The windows would not open properly to let sufficient air in. The weather forecast for the rest of the week indicated the heat was only going to get HOTTER. Getawayz would not do anything about it...like bringing around an air cooler, preferring to do nothing meaningful. We were fully aware the property had no air conditioning, but expected an evaporative cooler at least in these circumstances. We left the next morning, finding a comfortable place nearby. As the apartment was UNINHABITABLE, we sought a refund on the unused days. GETAWAYZ via Airbnb refused. Communicating directly with GETAWAYZ was also unproductive. My advice - be very careful having anything to do with this property.... and GETAWAYZ... If something goes wrong you'll end up being aggrieved due to the appalling lack of refund for an untenable situation.

Definitely recommend !! Spent one night here and loved it! Saw so much wildlife, bed was so so comfy, everything i needed and wanted was in arms reach. Check in and out was a breeze. I will be staying again! What an insanely beautiful place they have created for us here. Show details ·  1

Fantastic loft, compact but beautifully appointed. Great location a couple blocks from Hyde Park and World Square, in a smaller SoHo-vibe neighborhood with dozens of great restaurants and shops within a three-block radius. There's a 24-hour parking garage a block and a half away for your rental car. The management company was quick to respond and made an easy check in and-out experience. We stayed 10 nights in Harbourview. The view of the Harbor Bridge was fantastic. Easy walk to train, bus and ferry or walk 1 mile (1.6km) across the bridge to The Rocks and Circular Quay.
