the Euromaid WM5 is a great pick. I’ve owned it for months now and haven’t had any issue, it just quietly does the job, which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended for small households or anyone needing a compact, no-nonsense machine.

Pity as it could be a good medium priced machine.

Working fine. After cpl of years doesnt always start when door gets closed. The biggest issue is rust all over eventhogh no open water in these places. Previous waching machines were not getting rusty.

have had zero issues since. To be honest I'm very surprised it's still operating so well, especially for its age, also the fact we have moved house approximately 5 times since then.

It really hasn't skipped a beat in all that time, wash after wash.

It will be sad when our old Euromaid finally hits its expiry date, which I'm expecting to happen sooner than later, now that it's over a decade old. Alas, nothing lasts forever, including washing machines! So it's to be expected.

Well done to Euromaid for making a durable little machine for such an affordable price. We've definitely been happy with ours over the past decade, it has certainly lasted the test of time catering for the washing needs of a family of four.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others :)

Perfect for 6 years – Great for a couple, we've had it for about 6 years until the start/pause button failed and cannot be used any more. I tried a couple of repairers but they said they could not help with this brand. When I opened the cover, I noticed one of the wires burnt a bit, so it was probably just a matter of time when the whole thing would fail. Worst purchase EVER – Absolutely useless. We bought the EFL700WPro because we had been very satisfied with the old model, but this one is appalling! Wash times are wildly inaccurate- the 28 min cycle took 1.5hours, we tried again and it counted down to 1 min but would not finish. wet. We selected spin and it won’t spin! What a complete waste of time and money. It is not fit for purpose, does not match the description on the website or the manual - we want our money back!!

Lasted 11 years without a single issue. Even moved it to a new house twice – We bought our WM7 brand new in 2011 soon after getting married. It was all we could afford, at around $350 and with a 3 year warranty. I paid a little extra for the bonus 2 years warranty from the store, Appliances Online, worried that it wouldn’t last very long as it was one of the cheapest available. the ghost, making loud noises on the spin cycle, though it still technically washes.

This machine has gone through 3 babies (and we did washable cloth nappies for 1-2 of them) and they are boys who love getting dirty in the backyard so it’s dealt with the enormous amount of washing required to deal with that.

I couldn’t be happier with how it’s served us for over a decade, considering its low price. If you’re thinking of buying one of these second hand and if it’s only a few years old and appears to have come from a good home, it’s worth giving a go.

Incredibly Let Down – I purchased my WM7 in December 2017, and until recently, have not had an issue with it. Then a few days ago, it would freeze midcycle and the crossed out tap symbol came up. rang Euromaid as the company has suggested on several posts with the same issue- we rang once, and was told to go the livechat. Once in the livechat, we were told to ring the number instead. So we rang back, was put on hold for half an hour and then hung up on as it had reached their 5pm closing time. We rang back a second time the next day and they said they couldn’t help us as it was out of Warranty, and gave us the numbers of two technicians, both who declined to see us as we were too far from them. In the end, we booked with a local tech, and so far it has cost $150 just for them to come and look at the machine. They are now sourcing parts (an inlet valve and a computer part) however we are as yet unaware of the final cost of parts and repair. The machine is just three years old.

In the meantime, as a household of three people, we needed to keep the washing cycle going. My sister, who is currently living with us, fortunately had her washing machine in storage in our garage and so we brought that in to use. Hers is a Euromaid WM7Pro, purchased July 2018. (So two and a half yeads old) However, despite it being somewhat newer, it also has stopped working! It does not drain, and is stuck on 1 minute just turning water around and around.

Until this week neither of us have ever had an issue with our machines, and our parents also have a two and a half year old Euromaid WM7Pro, also no issues to date. But now we have two broken machines in the house, neither very old, a hefty repair bill, and at Christmas at that, after a hard finacial year, and are having to take time our of our busy schedules to take our washing to our parents, our friends and laundromats just to ensure we have clean clothes, towels and sheets.

We are incredibly frustrated and disappointed by this turn of events, and will not consider purchasing a Euromaid again in the future and would strongly advise others against spending their money with this company.

Was good but not now – Thought this was a great machine until yesterday. Machine turns 3 yrs old 22nd April and yesterday it was soooo noisy during spinning only to find the bearing had gone. Spoke to a washing machine repairer and he said “ too expensive to repair buy a new one “ so I am not impressed anymore. As a customer thought Euromaid was a good brand but obviously not. Do not waste your money – I’ve had this machine for 3 years. I have already had to have the pump replaced. The front and sides are rusting - I have never owned such a poorly produced machine. Previous machines have all lasted at least 10+ years and never had any rust. Very disappointing. Show details

Mine rusted at bottom corner of detergent drawer after three years – Rusty cabinet and when I contacted them they wanted to send a technician out despite sending them clear pictures of the deep rust. They said if it was not found to be a manufacturing fault I would have to pay $195. Well all evidence of the issue was rusted away. Was so difficult to get in contact with the person responsible. Works well until it doesn’t – I purchased this washing machine in October 2017. There has been a few problems such as water leaking from underneath, the screen glitching frequently and the buttons not working at all. We have been able to fix those. advised that it’s too expensive and hard so the washing machine is just broken at four years old. The standard useful life for a washing machine is 10 or so years. I had hoped to get at least five years but you get what you pay for. I’d stay well clear of this brand.

Bang per buck confirmed, lasted 6 years no issue ~$75 bucks a year! VALUE! – The un-sung hero, worked day and night washing a family's clothes, never missed a beat, never complained, never caught covid, Energy rating = low/lowest, water rating = low/lowest, washing quality = solid 7/10, but dam out of the recent cr4p in the market, look at the good reviews.
