Fast forward a few days, we’ve now driven this car in our trip without any problem. It’s really nice to have someone like Daniel who will do his best to ensure his costumer can have the best experience with the new car. Contacted them over a week ago detailing my concerns regarding their sales process and for them to review my experience with them. I've followed up three times now since that initial contact. I received a voice message from their receptionist last week who shared that my emails went into their spam and that they've been delivered to the right team. Still no response.

that I would not go back to this place. I might add the delivery book was not filled in and there were mistakes in the invoice. That night I read customers reports on this firm. And this confirmed my thoughts. Funny how subsequent contact by them with me alternatively had staff disagreeing about a key order. This "order" was said to be created by them. Not me. It got too hard to believe and I believe that an attempt would have been made to be charged ($500 btw). Maybe they “Found” the missing key as one week wasn’t enough time to order from overseas. Maybe it was never lost? My one key and car arn't going near this place. Then.....or EVER. And never was. I have had many new cars in my life but I have blocked contact and will not read any responses from this company. I thank those who put up their experiences in various places.
We need a lemon law in Australia to stop companies like this franchise of Hyundai getting away with ripping people off and not honouring warranties and treating people like idiots. If you have been cheated by this company or any other and want protection in Australia please contact me to stop us being ripped off. Other countries have lemon laws but none in Australia...

Crawford and was charged to have new spark plugs fitted over $300 ,it is well known that MG has an issue with these spark plugs failing but are bluffing , with the help of their dealer network to deny people the proper service under Australian consumer law . Just because a manufacture puts a warrant period on a product and the product fails outside that warranty period does not release the manufacturer from its obligation of reasonable time and fit for purpose. If a spark plug generally operates for 60,000ks under normal circumstances and it fails half way through that expected life span it has failed expectations under Australian consumer law . MG put 3 months or 5,000ks warranty on the spark plugs they fit which is ludicrous and completely in contravention to the law. It is well known amongst dealer circles that this issue should have been a recall and spark plugs should have been fitted that have a normal life span of 60,000ks. Just because something is well priced it doesn't mean you can cheat the public. I was in the motor industry for 50 years and I find this one of the most blatant cases of denial by a manufacturer. The dealer says they can do nothing but I know with enough pressure from the dealer network this issue could be resolved but its a quick buck for an ever decreasing customer oriented industry. UPDATE. since writing this review I would like to thank Col Crawford who have contacted my friend and refunded the amount for the spark plugs and the fitment , service is still alive.

explaining to him. He was very very apologetic which was greatly received. This is the sort of person that I want to deal with in an ongoing basis and I have now booked my car in for service again with the assurance that I will get a lift home. Afterwards I have had major spine wishes and unable to walk. Jake has made a note saying that I can get a lift to from any time I have anything to deal with he is guaranteed me a lift either home from the shop their workshop or even if I’m just looking to buy something he said if I want to live just ask them and they will give me a lift home all day service has come in again. Not only that, our Satellite Navigation feature has never worked in the car which is still yet to be fixed and seems to be swept under the rug as everything has yet again fallen silent from them in getting it fixed. Col Crawford truly earns the title of untrustworthy car salespeople who will say anything to get a sale and will not follow through until Fair Trading is mentioned. Avoid this dealership at all costs. There are plenty of others out there to buy your car from.

time telling you that if the flywheel is not changed also they won’t guarantee it. Upscale! This keeps going until you are presented with an enormous bill. As you’re paying the bill they mention a $10 nylon bush between the pedal and the slave cylinder that was also replaced. Turns out that was the only work needed. I was to trusting! My wife had had her car at the service depart for 4 week. It has an anomaly misfiring at 4000 rpm. Each week goes by and unless I initiate correspondence I don’t hear from them. When I do, they only ask the same question, “what oil do you use”. Now I’ve been working on cars, plane, boats all my life. I know the oil was the right grade, api etc. But hopefully they know something I don’t! No? These useless clown have zero diagnostic skills other than what an OBD reader tells them. It all became to hard for them so the car sat there for 4 weeks. Eventually we sent an email that politely asked if they would inform us what had been done to date, what is likely to be done and what the cost will be. The next morning Alf rang my wife and asked her to pick the car up. They are disrespectful and contemptuous. Apparently customers aren’t allow to inquire. Disgusting at best. He started telling me how much work they had done. Sorry mate, I inspected the engine bay today. Specifically on the points they said. I see absolutely no evidence of so much as disturbed dirt around a bolt! On top of that, he gloats about the 10 hrs of work put into it and how they are not making any money on it. WTH! You charged me $465, held the car for 4 weeks and returned it with the same problem AND broke a floor mat mount! What do you think 10 hrs over 4 weeks looks like. Totally pathetic. Did they even change the oil if that’s what they suspected. NO! When I had the second clutch done I asked them to diagnose a misfire. They said they couldn’t get a code and there was no issue with the car trumpeting the fact that he won’t charge me for the diagnostic. I purchased a cheap OBD reader immediately it showed a misfire in cylinder 4! Turns out it was nothing more than a slightly loose spark plug. A service is a 30 minute job. Pop the sump plug, while the old oil is draining change the oil and air filter. Plug back in, fill with oil and your done. The tell you they need the car for at least 3-4 Hour. So you think they have been working on it for that period of time. No, that’s how they justify the expense of your “service”. A complete rort! They would accept many more vehicles daily if they could. Only thing stopping them is they have nowhere to park them. Oil changes are the cash cow for these unscrupulous dealers. That comes from an ex employee! They lied about Hyundai Australians involvement. Hyundai Australia told me they had closed the case on the 4 May as they had no response back from Col Crawford. Yet when I collected the car on the 12th I was told the case was still open and if I left the car there longer they “might” find the problem. At who’s expense? Let me guess. NEVER take your car here people.

Useless – Caught out lying re car repair items and what they did. Total lack of respect for customer and refused to keep customer updated and informed. Car left weeks before they had stuff capable of even diagnosing issue. No follow up calls, broken promises stall and smoke screen tactics. Protect yourself and go else where
Always fantastic service! – We bought our car back in 2016 and have serviced it at Col Crawford ever since. Service is polite, prompt and efficient. DO NOT BUY 2ND hand cars from this company unless you are taking out the FULL insurance, and the FULL premium platinum insurance, to cover anything that can happen, or else you will have nothing but a big bill to fix a car that should have never been sold.- I have evidence.
They have had the car for 2 years and are still trying to claim that I should pay for the car.

for 15000km service, called twice to book in the service as well, one week later no one called me back. Took it in for computer to be repaired, service department told me they never had time to call me back. I clearly was not happy at this stage, so the rude an arrogant person I was dealing with told me "I am the problem". That clearly was not the right the thing to say...so I read him his fortune. I was then approached by the service manager who was just as rude, so rather than resolve the issue they banned from the shop, how mature. immediately examined the vehicle and phone, tested it and immediately identified one issue and fixed it and identified the problem which was a non Apple cable and said this issue has not been resolved by Apple and was affecting numerous makes of vehicles.

At this point I was not concerned but watching her talking to another worker at the back she seemed agitated and took sometime to return. She was accompanied by a man who proceeded to tell me that it was being washed but they had found a nail in the tyre and asked if I wanted to send it down to the tyre shop to get repaired. I told him no as I needed my car for work later that morning. He told me it takes about 3 hours to do the service and that mine would be ready shortly, then sent me off to the waiting area where I spent another half an hour waiting. I eventually made my way to the office where a young man told me it had been ready for 20 mins!!! He said that he had tried several times to text and call me but could not get through!!REALLY!! All in all a most dreadful experience which I do not intend to repeat.

local mechanics couldn’t fix the problem we were asked to return it. Not only did they not hesitate to make things right but they loaned us a nice car while the expensive repair was made. Our car drives like new now and we can’t recommend this dealership more highly. A great Aussie team with tons of integrity. I highly recommend buying a new or used car from them.

shaking, shuddering" *there was no transmission problem before their updated and oil change.
Mechanic checked the car, didn't find anything. When the issue got worse, I asked to check the car again. It took them 3 weeks to take it in due to covid. I understand that, tough times for everyone with sick staff.
Finally they found a time slot for me, so I took their mechanic for a drive. He was shocked when the transmission started shaking/ shuddering. I don't think he has seen it before.
Anyway I was told to bring it in today 3rd February 22. In the morning I asked staff, if they are able to change brake fluid and coolant as well. They said not a problem.
Came back to pick up my car, was charged $680 for service (engine oil change included) and I was told that they didn't have enough time to work on transmission problem and can book me again in two weeks. The only reason why I brought it in today was just pushed away and money was again more important than the customer.
I was told by their employee that is completely normal for transmission to break after an oil change. What kind of message was that?! My partner and I were speechless when we heard his words. On top of that, he said that they definitely didn't break my transmission. Just to point out here, they don't know what the problem is but they know they didn't break it? How about this customer service Crawford?
I am very disappointed, was looking to contact customer service but no luck.
Not saying the whole group is bad, my partner had her car serviced by Neil Baker(Hyundai department) and he went above and beyond to solve the problem on her car.
So all of you thinking if you should take your car here? It's a 50/50 game.

Great service place, Andrew was very helpful and their mechanic (didn't catch his name) did a quick diagnostic, fixed the issue and few hours later I was back on the road. In the past 3 years I've tried 3 different Jeep service centres in Sydney and always had a problem, missing parts, broken parts or wrong oil added, just crazy. Luckily Jeep gave a chance to this guys and they are doing great job.

Expect a lot with Kia Seltos SUV – I have always bought another brand of car but my curiosity was piqued when my mechanic raved about Kia. They Have No Regard for Customers or the Law – We purchased a Land Rover Discovery Sport from Col Crawford for $35,000 in November 2021. We were assured by the sales person that, despite the car's lack of a service history, it had been looked over by their mechanic and was in good condition. uncontrollably at speeds of 60km/hr and whenever we accelerated, thus making the car undriveable. We got it looked at by a mechanic and he identified a series of costly issues with the vehicle. Also, the car's windshield leaked and the rear door leaked profusely. In addition, the car was missing a speaker in one of the door and another speaker had a cracked cone. This last issue was especially troubling as the stereo had been adjusted so we wouldn't notice the issues with it.
After trying for a few days to call and get a hold of the appropriate person to raise our issues with (the car was still covered by the dealership under consumer law), we were told to email the sales person who sold us the vehicle.
We did this and were told by the sales person to take the car to the Land Rover dealership here in the Hunter to have it looked at and this would be done at Col Crawford's expense. We had to take a day off from work in order to do this and we had to cover the $594 cost of the inspection only to be given a report of the costly things that were wrong.
We sent the report from Land Rover to the sales person who then responded telling us we had to contact the service manager. We emailed the service manager letting him know the issues and that we would not be able to drive the car back to Sydney. He responded asking us to drive the car to Sydney. We had this exchange three times before he read the email all the way through and understood we could not drive the car to Sydney. He then asked us to "leave it with him".
A few days later the service manager then said there was nothing he could do and to contact the person who sold us the car.
We then asked if that meant we could just get the car fixed at the local Land Rover dealership and send Col Crawford the bill in order to be refunded for the repairs as well as the additional cost of having the car looked out at in the first place.
We received no reply.
We then followed up with an email asking what was going on. We received no reply.
After seeking advice from Fair Trading, we then followed up with an email stating Col Crawford had a week to find a suitable resolution to this matter or we would go to Fair Trading. We received no reply
Prior to the week-long deadline, we emailed Col Crawford's reception asking for assistance and we received no reply.
We will be launching our official complaint with Fair Trading today, but we also wanted to leave this review so customers know what they are getting into with this business. They offer poor customer service and a complete lack of client care with no regard for consumer law.
This entire circus has been extremely time consuming and showcases Col Crawford's flagrant disregard for their customers and an intense disrespect of our time.
We advise all customer to avoid this dealership like the plague.
