big deal) However the lounge suite we purchased was in our opinion the best and most comfortable we'd seen and sat in. (we purchased the King Cloud Classic 2 Seater Recliner with wide seats in true touch leather) I must say the overall experience we had from the date of purchase to the delivery that happened Friday 27/3 went off without a hitch. Even the few calls I made to customer service team were good. Delivery was booked, the tracking of the delivery is great, the phone call from the driver one hour before was great too. The two young delivery guys did a great job setting up and removing all packaging. The answered the questions I had about the assembly and where the battery pack was plugged in if we chose at some point to do that. And best of all, we are extremely happy with the look, comfort and feel of our new lounge. The only feedback I would suggest you take on board, and the reason I made three calls to customer service team. Because the delivery was to an apartment building, we were required to have a copy of the delivery company's public liability insurance policy sent the the builder supervisor prior to the delivery date. This should be an automatic attachment as soon as a delivery is confirmed in my opinion. Other than that, I will recommend King Living base on my experience. change the modular components until it looked like the final choice. I was then assisted to look at a wide range of fabrics and was shown examples that were used in the showroom furniture stock. This was such a great, relaxed and fun process. I was then emailed a tentative quote and order which allowed me to change/tweak it over a couple of days so I could ensure it would fit my living room. Job done. Order confirmed. Deposit paid. Further online payments were SO EASY and over the next couple of months it was paid off. I did meet issues however with the automated Delivery Concierge AI which gave me wrong information and wrong dates. I then called the showroom landline who put me through to 'Despatch' which was an offshore phone call. This was not only disappointing but also incorrect information. A further 3 phone calls were required to ascertain delivery date and time which took a further day. This was the worst part of the experience. The Delivery driver sent me a text with his name and a 3 hour delivery window the following day. He then called me with a 40 minute advance notice. He unpacked and set up the Aura suite and micro side table (an unexpected delight and so versatile) and took his shoes off every time he stepped in from outside. Zac was efficient, courteous, calm when I realised that the configuration wrong, it was an easy fix. I felt that the ordering process and communication, and the deliver process and communication was excellent. The Despatch part was poor and resulted in un necessary anxiety and confusion. Please review this process King Living - otherwise a Gold Star.

I have been using King furniture since 2003. We’ve had, Linea, Delta, and even still have the original coffee and matching dining tables that I bought 23 years ago. extremely frustrating. This time, the new bed was delivered without the necessary gas struts or brackets. In previous purchases, King Living made sure to confirm the mattress weight and supply all parts, but this time they did not.
I had to chase them multiple times for the missing parts, and even when the gas struts finally arrived, they came without the necessary brackets. Now I’m left with a bed that I can’t use properly and sporadic updates from customer service.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with their support and it’s truly disappointing. I expected much better from a company of this reputation. I hope they resolve this quickly and ensure that no other customers have to deal with these repeated oversights.

performance, despite good technicians doing their best to fix it 5 times b(es five visits!) . And many times I fixed it by resetting it myself - unfortunately I now can troubleshoot all the problems this Couch had like an expert. But it still didnt work/function/perform fully. That's a bad thing. Have now finally given in and asked for full refund but can't get action or a reply after a 4 weeks and 3 reminders to them my email via their support system. (see edit above)
[Meanwhile , to prove my expectations aren't incorrect, our 10 year old electric sofa bought 2nd hand moved house 2x without a fault. I don't know electric sofas could be this bad or break down this easily....at any price point, let along this one.. ]

My experience of a big electric luxury sofa 3 seater - KING LIVING king cloud v III - failed immediately ON DELIVERY and we kept reporting repeated faults - like OBVIOUS uneven cushion thicknesses and shapes, electrics failing /jamming and needing constant resets, power cycled it dozens of times, ( all the troubleshooting steps to avoid yet another service call). and re programming, buttons needed replacing, fillings replaced, and eventually being a troubleshooting expert all by myself, all to no avail. It's a fail. At this price and stated warranty I expected solid high performance. But despite best efforts of saintly technicians who persisted and were super helpful, and nice, along with us trying for far too long ( thinking it would eventually work) o it's ended in total frustration.
Frankly exhausted - We now need to look for another couch and meanwhile this one was never comfortable to sit on. Nothing like the showroom in cushiony goodness (we were told the new offshore factory isn't what Australian manufacturing and quality control used to be like).. so...and many months and many repairs and breakdown later I've given up .
We asked for a refund within the 2 year period with FULL timeline and all documentation, and invoice and checked the fine print to be sure I am doing it right. No dice... Oddly, I am not getting reply/resolution. 5 (yes five!) technical visits is the most I've experienced in my life for anything. And now silence.
The sad thing is we've kept it pristine and covered the whole time in case we needed to return it + so it's unspoiled and as fresh as can be. Lesson learner. Read reviews. Ask other people ....it should be this hard to get a reply though. Something is wrong here.
Follow-up · The problem was unresolved major defects... Which ultimately technically couldn't be solved. It was long hard and multiple steps taking months to get the attention to get to point of a refund. Still great designs. I hope they fixed they quality control in outsourced manufacturing and along with many many failures along the way . Hope recent experiences are better for new customers!

ordered new inserts for a fresh, updated look over the years. Every time, the service and communication have been great. The delivery team are super fast and efficient. I highly recommend them.
Follow-up · The assembly for all items was done by the King Living team, purposely so I wouldn't have to worry about disposing of plastics and cardboard. absolute nightmare. The delivery has now been cancelled twice without any communication whatsoever. I had written confirmation that delivery would take place on Friday the 27th, yet after calling on both Thursday and Friday to follow up, I was told that someone had failed to scan all items — meaning the delivery simply wasn’t happening.
There has been no proactive communication, no accountability, and I am still waiting for a new delivery date. In the meantime, I’ve had to pay for alternative accommodation for the weekend due to this failure.
It’s incredibly disappointing that a company with such great products and sales staff falls apart completely when it comes to customer service and logistics. The backend support is clearly broken and feels like it has been outsourced with little regard for customer experience.
After this experience, I will never purchase from King Living again. They seriously need to address their operational and customer service issues.

Customer service is terrible, I have had an issue going on for a significant amount of time, late last year someone finally took ownership of it and cam up with a resolution, this person has now disappeared and locked the case so I’m now left with their Philippines call Center trying to contact this staff member in Australia who doesn’t get back… Read more
