Delivery team was great- especially after a very trying day for them. Appreciated their efficient delivery, assembly and cleaning up. As well as instructions provided. Great work. Only negative was that they were running late. Not their fault!!
Goods delivered damaged (twice - original and replacement). Arranged 5 separate picks up dates and each time no one turned up. Twice was given a "confirmed pick up window" by customer service team. Follow-up · -Fabric care was very easy to use. Simple instructions and easy to apply. -the lounge set is comfortable. Firmer sofa cushions than I was expecting at first try, but I find it comfortable and enjoyable. -LOVE THE RUG! Nice contrast to the darker decking and I think the lounge complements well on top. ***DO NOT BUY FROM FREEDOM** We ordered 4 stools from Freedom online on 25 November 2025 which we received on 3 December 2025. When we received the stools we found the following issues: 1/ the colour was not as advertised (as per our phone, laptop… Read more

They were a dark grey, almost charcoal, not the light-mid grey as advertised. 2/ the first stool we attempted to assemble had a misaligned screw hole which meant that one of the 4 screws could not be attached on the legs - a major safety and functionality issue 3/ the screw on the plastic chair pad on the leg of the stool stuck out from the pad which means that it would actually scratch the timber floor when the stool was pulled out or pushed in
We contacted Freedom immediately on 3 December 2025 with these concerns and have been given the run-around or ignored since then. They asked for photos and details which we supplied that same day. Then they asked for more photos, which we immediately supplied. Then they asked the same question again, all in an attempt to delay. We made several phone calls where we were assured that the supervisor would contact us prior to the ed of the business day. No such contact ever occurred. 2 phone calls and 10 emails later, we have not received a refund. Freedom has just said that they are awaiting a response from their supplier. We have made it very clear that we have a contract with Freedom and rights under consumer law and that their arrangements with their supplier has nothing to do with us. Fair Trading also advised us to tell them this. Still nothing. We now have no option but to lodge a formal FairTrading complaint. This was our first and last experience with Freedom. BEWARE: DO NOT BUY FROM FREEDOM.
Follow-up · An update: we did eventually receive a refund, but not before reviewing Freedom online and pursuing the matter with Fair Trading. After literally in excess of 25 emails and 15 phone calls, we received a refund 24 days after the complaint was raised. I contacted customer support via chat to cancel my order and was told this had been processed, with confirmation to follow within 24–48 hours. After hearing nothing, I followed up, only to be told no cancellation request had been logged. I had to ask again for it to be submitted. From there, the experience only worsened. I was told cancellations take 7–10 business days, which is excessive for a straightforward request, especially after initially being told 24–48 hours. I requested that a manager contact me to explain the delay and poor handling, but no one ever did. Instead, I eventually received a confirmation email that the order had been cancelled and refunded. I thought the matter was resolved, but then I began receiving emails about the cancellation of dining chairs—an item I have never purchased. When I pointed out the error, I received a dismissive and unhelpful response asking me to “confirm my issue,” despite their clear mistake. This was followed by multiple emails with a similar tone and no apparent effort to review prior communications. Overall, this was a very poor customer service experience, marked by incorrect information, lack of accountability, and disjointed communication. I will not be shopping with Freedom again. With their shift to a marketplace model, most of their products are readily available elsewhere, without the added frustration.

Avoid at all costs. I have spent thousands of dollars on freedom furniture when we moved because they have such a beautiful looking furniture. Looks is the only thing going unfortunately. The quality of the furniture is very bad. The outdoor furniture should be considered unfit for purpose since the furniture deteriorates within a year so quickly.… Read more
Even after getting consumer protection involved they can still get away because they have it under the product care information. You are better off going to Kmart for cheap stuff and it will last longer. Has to be the worst customer service I had ever experienced. Delivery - don’t bother. They took our lounge out the box to fit in through the front door. Put it down on the asphalt on the side and made it all dirty. Then they didn’t have time to do for extra 5mins and said “we have another delivery so we have to go we will put it in your garage a you can sort it out”. So much for their delivery service that is supposed to put on the spot. Imagine it thy said that to and elderly people? I complained to freedom and they said that it is not acceptable and we will refund for the delivery. Then they ghosted me. Never again purchasing from this shop.

We have now had 2 large deliveries from Freedom and the service was very poor. We had 6 outdoor chairs delivered with so much packaging we had to drive to the tip having spent an hour reducing the boxes.
