continue to be amazed at the moisture removed. These machines have easily cleaned filters and again surprised at the dust collected, and they are so efficient and portable. Not overly noisy - actually a calming white noise for sleeping and easily emptied. They don’t noticeably affect the room temperature and controls are very simple to use

If you are after a dehumidifier - this is the one – Great product. Works better than other brands (which I had borrowed from family when there was a shortage of dehumidifiers in Stores). borrowed dehumidifiers from in the past are now asking to use mine, so product is definitely one to recommend. Got this for a great price too, so value for money is a definite!

Waste of money – Never worked from day one! Customer service very unhelpful. Complete waste of $250! Sending an email to review a product close to 5 years old very strange the product went in the bin years ago!

Terrible Unit from Andatech – Leaks and makes a Trimble hissing noise only one fan speed and water all over my floor and carpet. Humidity does not change and I have a separate Humidity stat . The ion 622 is inaccurate and causes more humidity then it solves it just blows warm air ? I didn't buy a heater did I..... The whole unit is a fail. I have had this unit running in my caravan in humid conditions for the last 2 weeks, and it has successfully bought the humidity down from the 80's to around 56-62%. It isn't overly quiet, but it performs as advertised and we are very happy with it. Show details ·  1

Great product – I was living in a small flat in Newcastle dark and damp when I noticed some mould in the wardrobe. I looked for a solution but not a cheap one. feel the air was a lot dryer. During some wet weather I had my washing hanging inside I turned my ION622 on closed the room and it dried my clothes and the best part was my electricity bill was still about the same. We know have 4 of these owned by other family members and they all rave about there humidity. A good unit if you want to fix moisture.

Does the job reliably – We’ve had the unit for just over a year now and it has operated reliably since day one. Only maintenance required is cleaning the air filter which is easy to do. Having to empty the reservoir every day also is a good way of keeping my plants watered! Show details ·  1

Works well – The recent Sydney rains have made dehumidifiers essential, but hard to find and expensive. I'm on a budget and settled on the Ionmax over the Chinese brands on Amazon. option to set desired %. Washable filter saves on having to buy replacements. Can really feel difference after it's been running for a few hours.

Cons: Too loud to run in a bedroom overnight. No option to change fan speed / power.

Overall I'm very happy with the ION622. However, my situation may be different from yours. For large spaces, I recommend at a 20L model at least. If quiet operation if a priority, a desiccate dehumifier can't be beat.

nearly 4 years and running sweet – Thought people might be looking for a dehumidifier now (march 2022). Bought a ION 622 in July 18 it has worked very well for us. The last 3 weeks it has worked constantly when we've had power(we even ran it on a genset,its that important to us to keep mould out)only stopping when its full or has reached set levels. Cant fault this unit, you can hear it but its not roaring,it might be a little loud when it stops but again not over bearing.

Saved me! – I love it! I bought mine second hand and on the first day it removed 6 Litres of water from my bedroom alone. I went from 94% humidity to a fresh and clean 74% over the day. I have ordered another 2 as my whole hours is around 92% humidity and everything is going mouldy and feels wet and disgusting. Yes it makes noise but it has a compressor.. and compressors make noise.. its not a problem for me.

Amazing – It’s so crazy how much water this can pull from the air, solved my mould issue and one of my best appliances, highly recommended -quiet and effective and easy to empty

Not too bad – Looks good, appropriate price, convenient to move around, doesn't smell like desiccant ones, but noticeably less efficient than a similarly sized (albeit more expensive) desiccant at 20C, rather noisy and doesn't allow changing fan speed.  Show details
