Arovec AroDry-900

A little disappointed. It is over priced at $67 I think, for quite a flimsy plastic made unit. Even though that isnt a lot, the gadget itself, iis over priced. It should be in the $40 range. I was very much looking forward to using this in my wardrobe area. Unfortunately the plug gets hot, so I would not feel comfortable just leaving it on… Read more
indefinitely. I purchased one for a family member and her plug gets hot quickly too. It seems to work ok collecting the water. I think I would have been better of buying a bigger unit.
Unfortunately the AroDry-900 wasn’t up to the job of dehumidifying my small (less than 10 sq. meters in area) laundry. I was lucky to get 50mls in total over 3 days! Given it uses very little power 22 watts meant that it didn’t have a lot of drawing power which limited its output. Might be effective in a much smaller space. As I had used it for 3 days and registered the product I probably can’t return it! Show details

Compact design and quiet when it's on. This item is so effective that we now have 4 of them ☺️ All working in the bedrooms! Show details · 1
We bought this via Amazon to use in our walk in ward-robe where sometimes we've found mould on our shoes and some clothes. The floor area is about 6 square metres and the room is not ventilated (no window). We had thought of installing a small fan to circulate the air but this appliance is a much better solution because it's portable, there's no… Read more · 1
installation costs, it has a small fan, and it's cheap to run. The appliance is described as being suitable for use in rooms to 15 square metres but we think it's perfect for the size of area we're using it in. It uses 22 watts of power and we leave it on 24/7. The water tank has a 900 mls capacity and there's an auto switch 'OFF' when it reaches capacity. It stands 30cms high and is 15cms in diameter. It operates silently. We have been operating it for 2 weeks and we've emptied about 1.5 litres of water from the reservoir. It's doing a great job so far and we're very impressed with the effectiveness of this appliance. Recommended.
Works like a dream – This air dehumidifier does such a good job in my craft room, where I spend most of my day and in which the humidity can be over 60%. With this AroDry product I can reduce the humidity to less than 50% (measured on a digital weather station), much more comfortable in Brisbane! The room is about 4x4m square. Over a few days about 1.5cm of water was… Read more · 1
extracted from the air and collected in the water tank. It is very easy to remove, empty and replace this tank. Another feature I like is the option of the blue light on top, which reminds me to turn it off. When operating it is quieter than a fan. The unit is about the size of an electric kettle so it’s nice and compact. I has exceeded my expectations!

Great little unit! – We have had a mold problem in our 3.5M2 walk-in wardrobe. Moisture seems to build up with no airflow with some clothes actually feeling damp in times of high humidity, typical in coastal Qld. This little unit works a treat! Even with lower than usual humidity (November), after only 24 hours, it picked up enough moisture to put about 12mm of water… Read more · 1
in the reservoir and the wardrobe feels less stuffy. It's a great little unit, efficient, quiet and well designed. My only complaint is that if power goes off, the unit turns itself off, so when power comes back on, it remains turned off. I had intended using a timer on the power point to run it in the daytime only, using free and clean solar power, but it seems it's 24-7 use or none at all. It doesn't use a lot of power, but we're paying for dirty energy that we'd prefer to avoid. I guess we'll use it constantly for our humid summer months and give it a break in winter. Arovec: why does it need to turn off? Is there a way around this?
Effective Product with Exceptional Customer Service – In March 2021, I purchased two AroDry-900 dehumidifiers which have been in continuous operation for 24 hours a day ever since. These products are effective in reducing humidity levels, which makes them highly recommended. However, I noticed that one of the devices stopped working despite regular maintenance. After reaching out to their support… Read more · 1
team, I was pleasantly surprised by their exceptional customer service. They promptly responded to my concerns and provided me with a replacement AroDry-900 along with a year-long warranty. While the lifespan of electronic devices can be unpredictable, I suggest registering for the extended warranty on their official website within 14 days of the purchase date, in case of unexpected malfunctions.
Overall, I highly recommend this product, especially with the added assurance of their reliable customer support. I hope this review helps others in their decision-making process when considering the AroDry-900 dehumidifiers.
Gimmick that costs way too much – Other than the first run when it collected about one quarter of the attached container of moisture (that is - water) over 12 hours after a steamy shower (and then the bathroom door closed whereas the said room has no other windows or air outlet at all), no other times has this device done anything - apart from sitting there wasting bench space,… Read more
consuming power and making low frequency noises that later were proved would annoy my cat very much. However, don't take my words for granted. I haven't tried to put the device in open air when it is pouring raining outside, in which case the container may in very little time overflow because rainwater could drop right into the holes on the top of the device through to the moisture container (and, of course, likely short circuit the motor, so then you could put the device in the bin and forget about it altogether). Beware if you put the device in the open air when it rains, there may be safety issues in relation to plugging the power adaptor to the electricity mains.

Worked perfectly for a few years then both units died. As warranty of 2 years had expired could not get it fixed or replaced. These small units built only to last a few years; 3yrs if your lucky and then go to landfill. Don't buy as to repair after warranty is impossible esp. when motor ceases. Don't waste ur money! After operation for 12 hours in a sealed room of floor area 14 square metres, AROVEC removed only 50 ml water from the air. Also, not all the removed water ended up in the tank. The housing of the tank was quite wet. Show details

This is my second purchase. My first one worked continuously for 4 years, 24/7, in a tropical area, where the water is filled up to the top every two days. The quality is very high, and I am extremely happy with this small magic machine. Show details · 1

I bought two of these, one for each bedroom, and they work really well. They're quiet. On humid days in Brisbane, they fill up about every three days. A friend recommended them to me, it was definitely worth it. Show details · 1
Seems to work well – Only been in use since Christmas in a bedroom that is normally quite stuffy and hot, but with minimal humid weather. Seems to be working well pulling moisture out of the air. Show reply
Highly recommended – Purchased two of these units (one for each poorly ventilated bathroom I have) upon the advice of a someone who removed small patches of black mould in our bathrooms. Was skeptical at first given the size of the units but they have exceeded our expectations. The amount of moisture they collect is impressive. We have even moved them around the… Read more · 1
house during humid days and have observed a noticeable decrease in the moisture that settles in the house on these days, especially when running our evaporative cooling. Will be back to purchase a bigger unit. Fabulous product I wish I had know.about sooner.
Seems to work as it should – Have turned it in a few days ago. It's quite, good size, fits under my bed so it's out of site and already half full of water, so seems to work well. Hopefully it stops my shoes going mouldy Show reply
Sweat no more – Using the device in my bedroom every night (6-8 hours straight) for three weeks now. Purchased as "alternative" to air conditioning, while keeping double-glazed windows closed at night due to the noise coming from the main road. Significantly reducing humidity in the room, waking up dry compared to sweating body before. Show details · 1
Small and efficient dehumidifier - top quality – What a great and handy equipment to save your rooms from any mould and damp smell. I’m very satisfied with the results. Show details · 1
Very happy with purchase – Wasn't sure that such a tiny dehumidifier would work but it was put in a bedroom with wet clothes on a clothes airer and over 24 hours removed 250 mls of water from the air into the tank. Very happy. Show details · 1
Excellent product – We have tried other dehumidifiers, looking for something which has a larger water tank, however the other larger brands do not draw the moisture from the air like Arovec. Went away from Arovec but we're back and will be staying with them. Value for money. Show details · 1
Just Brilliant! – Brought 3 for our humid conditions in Qld. One in the walk in wardrobe, one in the linen cupboard and one in the caravan. Works so well I will probably get a couple more! So quiet we don’t hear them at all even at night. Highly recommend this!! Show details · 1

nice and compact does a good job of moisture removal with drying the air out too much – Good value for money. Very robust. Nice small footprint. I have purchased it before. Show details · 1
Amazing results – I don’t usually leave reviews but I had read so many when trying to decide which dehumidifier to buy so I thought I should return the favor. This product has worked incredibly well for me. Within days the water container was almost half full.
