Great after care – We bought 3 of the 3600w heaters, had them installed by a qualified electrician, each on their own circuit. The heating on max setting is woeful. No problem, I contacted via their website on the weekend asking for comment or help, website said we’d get a response quickly. So far zero response. heater on before I get out of bed in the morning. Brandon Paris from Thermofilm could not have been more helpful, as my unit is an old model they had to dig around to find a remote for my controller. I mean, it’s not exactly a warranty issue (the dog ate my remote) The next thing I know, a new controller arrives in the mail, no questions asked. Simply brilliant customer service – I moved house and needed to relocate my units but unfortunately misplaced the brackets during the process. Very pleased – Hiya, I purchased the heatsrip classic THH2400A from Bunnings and it was amazing. Before i purchased the unit, i called Thermofilm to see which unit was the correct unit for my outdoor area. Thermofilm has an amazing customer service staff that helped me choose the perfect unit for the area.

Terrible Retun Policy – I bought 3 Mini units at $700 each tried one and wanted to move up to a larger unit . Was told could not return used units which I get. Had to show that the others were still in box unused. Basically said they would take back two units that i paid $700 for and only charge me $400 for a unit that is selling on their website for $698 . Math does not work for good customer service,

mount directly under the roof and radiate a safe warm even heat under where you are sitting and surrounding area. The installation of a Heatstrip Controller allows you to control the heat as required.

A great safe product without the danger of a naked flame as in a gas pedestal heater etc.

for my area & for a table seating 6. First model chosen was the biggest one Th3600 Which needed to be hard wired 15 amp. Not suitable as the electrician could not complete due to location of the power board downstairs in a difficult area. Costs of installation & a fully days work with 2-3 techs would have been excessive as quoted. Contacted Brandon at heatstrip again & looked at the next option down which was the 10 amp- plug in type. Returned the product & exchanged for the next model down + a refund for the amount.

Electrician put it in, angled the heater in position 2.1 on wall. Great heat warmth & sometimes gets too hot need to turn it off. Our balcony is 4mt x 5mt wide & ceiling height is 5 mt. We positioned it onto the wall where the table is situated, enough warmth surrounding all sides. You really have to look at the area & height first & do your homework as if you position it too high, you will not get the heat at all.

Parents happy :) – I got one of these for my parent's patio, was easy to install and they enjoy entertaining outside in a bit more comfort. They haven't seen a much difference in the electricity bill. Fits nicely under the small patio - they love it.

Awesome product – Purchased this heater for my outdoor alfresco area . The performance is fantastic , heats up the very quickly , efficiently and best of all very inexpensive to run. Also it is Australian made which is rare these days. Great Australian product .

Excellent for outdoor and entertaining areas – Excellent, great design, style, size and colouring. Look and design fits well within any environment be it business or pleasure. Extremely noisy, avoid!! – Good idea, but very badly implemented. Heaters make terrible cracking noise when heating up or cooling. Local uk rep is saying that this normal, refusing to replace them or refund me. Eugene.

Great concept but poorly made – Had two and both failed with insulation failure in two years. Took one apart to see what was wrong and insulation had turned to dust leaving mains voltage unprotected. Dangerous in my opinion. Wouldn't buy again until they fix the wiring

Good product - but install info is INCORRECT in some circumstances – I bought 2xTHH3200A Heatstrip classic heaters and the control thermostat unit (time of writing only one control unit available and rated to 15 amps). The product advertising states that you can piggy back a second unit off the first by way of a relay, even a third/fourth unit. the start. He spoke directly to Heatstrip tech, who explained how to install. He followed those instructions, but when installed the amps drawing at the control unit were 24. The control unit is rated to 15! Cut long story short, Heatstrip tech came to realise that there are limitations to what/amount of units that can piggy back - this is despite their original understanding and what their advertising/instruction manual states.

Further, when I spoke to point of sale (Bunnings) the manager said she was aware of this problem from past incidents, and gave me a second control unit for free because this was the ONLY way it could be done. So now I live with 2 large control units on the wall instead of just 1. Of note, Bunnings manager said she will take this issue up with Heatstrip sales rep.

Check the total current to be drawn from the control unit - listen to your sparky, not Heatstrip themselves because they don't understand, they're not qualified electricians. They say things like "we've been told that this should be fine" etc.

As for the product itself, 2x 3200w units in a 5mx4m enclosed alfresco, heats well, will be able to sit outside in shorts & t-shirt on a 5C night! Doesn't "pump" out heat, but will do the job. Takes an hour to heat the area nicely...happy overall, but the stuffing around by this company has cost me a lot in time spent by my sparky who obviously charges by the hour...

Excellent heater, – I bought this heater last winter. We actually maximised using our outdoor space as previously it was too cold to be out there. In comparison to the patio heater the whole table was always warm and the most important thing was that our electricity bill was not high at all.
