Love everyday living – I bought all my furniture i spend over $10.000 cash ; i asked the person who gave me the service for a discount she wouldnt . The service was worse than bad. The furniture is beautiful but the service NOT GOOD.

False advertising - Bad Service – As I was furnishing my new house, I decided to buy all my furniture (dining, mattress, chairs, etc) worth about $3,000. Not happy at all. The hotline they've provided is a voice mail and there's no one in the store who can assist.

I will never buy from Everyday Living, sleepcity and other stores related to them.

initial service was ok, they agreed to hold the items in their storeroom for a few weeks until we moved house.

The store called earlier this week and told us they wanted to deliver the table and chairs as there was no room in their storeroom anymore. We agreed to have the table and chairs delivered on Saturday afternoon.

At 2pm Saturday the delivery man called and asked if he could deliver the table and chairs another day because "he had muddy boots". When we caught him in his lie and told him we didn't care about his muddy boots because he could just bring the items to our back door, he got really defensive but said he would deliver that afternoon.

3 hours later he called again and said that he was not going to be able to deliver because the store was about to close, and they would not wait for him to pick up the table and chairs. When asked why he hadn't gotten their earlier, he hang up. When we called the store, they said they had been waiting all afternoon for the delivery man and he had not called at all.

On Sunday, we called the store and were told they could not deliver that day, and that it would be the same driver who would deliver during the week. We decided at that point we would go and pick up the items ourselves (2 trips!). Our $65 delivery fee was returned. God quality furniture, well made Unhelpful staff, terrible delivery service

BEWARE Company has gone into Administration!! – Received a $400.00 Gift Voucher for spening over $2000.00, I then get told that there has been a change and I have to spend $800.00 minimum to receive a $400.00 discount. good furniture bad service and lack of communication

However, the manager has been a pleasure to deal with given the current financial situation the company is in. She has been understanding and given me as much info as she has. numerous occasions and are slow and don't know what they are doing.

I hope the company works things out as I do love their furniture and the Hobart people are generally ok. Excellent Customer service, great products Delivery fees are ridiculous and the lead times aren't great. Some staff are hopeless.

Fast service – Having seen the unit we wanted, the Moorabin store staff were very helpful. We then purchased the unit and were delighted that it arrived as planned. Quality furniture. Good service. Reliable delivery

Good – Pretty please with purchase and sales people - would go there again as I have my eye on a couple of other items in the store Products seem to be well made, nice choice of styles and colours, prices were very reasonable (we got some absolute bargains in the store. Went to the Kessler Rd store in QLD and sales lady was excellent and informative - even put up with husband trying to drive a hard bargain at the end of the day.

is good when you just want to browse. now and again they have huge savings such as leather lounges or dining sets. Stores are lovely and well presented, colours all seperated and they also sell accessories which are well priced. Great layby and finance terms available.

Bad – The norm seems to be that most employees never answer their phone but prefer to screen all their calls by putting them through to a message bank first. comparison to the way they ignored all my attempts to try and get answers from them. This extremley poor treatment of course upset me and completley turned me against Everyday Living for ever ! Range of furniture and copmpetitive prices. Extremley poor customer service skills ! Not only ay our local store but from the New South Wales, Victorian, Queensland and our Regional Manager.

OK – If you can afford to wait for your furniture, then the quality of the furniture, is very good for the price in these stores. Just be mindful of the lead times that the staff quote, as they appear to blow out, according to many reviews on the internet. Funiture appears to be nice quality. at Nunawading advised me that there was no stock in Melbourne that the cabinet would take 3 weeks to deliver from Sydney. Enquired at another shop and was advised that the stock is not in Sydney, but instead on a boat coming from Shanghai. - Boat is due to dock in Melbourne in 3 weeks time and delivery will be approx 2 weeks afterwards. - I have purchased the cabinet from the store that told the truth and am just hoping that the shipment will come in on time and that delivery will be before Christmas as promised, otherwise I will be forced to cancel the order. - Fingers crossed!!

Terrible – My experience with the Hobart store is very similar to the other comments. 10 weeks and numerous phone calls after ordering suite of furniture, I am told that it is discontinued and they then told me 3 different stories of what bits they had and what they didn't. they constantly blamed the computer, the phones, the head office etc. Rang the… Read more

head office as identified on the net, told it wasn't the head office and was transferred elsewhere. When I explained the situation I was then transferred to "customer service" who didn't answer the phone and had a message bank without any identification. Left a message and suprise - no one rang back.

Cancelled my order and was told to come in to get refund. CAlled in to get he refund and was then told that I needed my wife to come in as it was her card (of a joint account) that the deposit was paid. Okay, went back in the next day with my wife - repeated the story to the 3rd salesperson in 3 days and was then told that only the first $200 could be refunded on the card - the rest would need to be sent in a cheque from Sydney. I hit the roof! and was hurredly given the full refund.

I it without doubt the most woeful customer service I have ever seen - and I've seen soem pretty bad ones before. They have a high turnover of inadequately trained staff with no customer service skills. The obvioulsy rely on people not getting refunds or accepting alternatives. I will never buy there again and would suggest that unless you could see the product and take it with you there and then - you shouldn't either.

By way of contrast - went to Economy Warehouse that afternoon and go most of what I was after delivered the next day with exceptional customer service! good display poor salespeople who cant use a computer

Terrible – if anybody is reading this , save yourselves some trouble and don't shop at any of there stores, we went elsewhere and bought an Australian made product, manufactured in Melbourne, no fumes, no hassles, and if we didn't like it the money would be refunded straight away, and it only cost $100.00 extra and was far a better product, bigger, cleaner,… Read more

perfect, i will be telling as many of my friends as possible to avoid this group of stores as i can. we live in Bendigo Victoria and the Everday living store is only 5 km's from where we live, they have a sort of good display range, we decided on a book shelve and was asked to pay a deposit, that was ok until..... we payed the deposit and then was told it would be 2 week for arrival, 3 weeks past and nothing, it arrived in the 4 week, we took it home and and unpack it i was instantly overcome and was sick by the fumes (i think it was fumigated , over fumigated, it took myself 4 days to start to feeling ok again), we returned the item the next day, and was told they can't do a refund, it had to come from head office and would take 2 week, we are now into the 3rd week and still nothing, rang the kangaroo flat store and we got all sorts of excuses, (cant put it through the terminal because it only has a daily limit, bs, bs , bs......
