Hi we have a lot of trouble with water readings from pool shop where they have trouble distinguishing mineral salts into total hardness/magnesium hardness/calcium hardness. They also seem to ignore regular salt or mineral salt requirements amd sometime suggest disregarding and other times suggest adding one or the other. It’s very confusing. Any advice on how best to read the water analysis? Thanks

Unfortunately no. Thanks for the reply. Any insight on the two fuses?

Hi there, Unfortunately, it seems your TRi-XO Power Supply has either: 1. Suffered a power surge. 2. Suffered water damage due to moisture entering the electronics. 3. Suffered damage as a result of insects breaching the electronics of the power supply.

The fuses are there to protect the PCB from severe damage and potentially catching fire. Once the fuse is damaged, it means the power supply requires a complete replacement.

If you'd like to get in touch with your local pool shop, the part number for the TRi-XO PFC Power Supply is #W082981.

Hope this helps!

Is it possible to replace the back up battery on the Zodiac TRI Series Salt chlorine Generator?

Ken
Ken

The battery is located on a board in the system. You need to buy a board with the battery already on the board. The battery is not user replaceable on the board. To stop the battery going flat you must use the timers on the system, if use an external timer like an external timer this will flatten the battery in about 6 to 9 months and then you require a new board.

Hey Ken - what if FUSE 1 continues to blow - inside the machine - does it mean throw way for the unit?
