will (with testamentary trust) but lawyers wouldn't discuss it without me paying what could amount to thousands of dollars in fees, and their assistants couldn't or wouldn't provide help or advice. They also wouldn't tell me how much it would cost either because they didn't know how long it would take; I would have to agree in advance to pay $4-5,000 OR MORE. So, after months of struggle, stress and indecision, a week ago I finally got merely a simple will in place. Then I found Will Wizard, got more information from their videos in 10 minutes than I had previously been given in 15 years, completed their wizard - which was much less confusing - in 20 minutes or so, and have been given wonderful, helpful advice and brilliant, timely customer service since then by Tim through emails. My questions were answered quickly, my draft update requests were made with no fuss. Within a few days, with a few minutes here and there of simple effort by me and some wonderful support and advice from Will Wizard, I now have - for a clear fixed price less than a tenth of what I might have to pay elsewhere - a draft Testamentary Trust Will. I will review it and probably have it formally in place within another week, and I will be happy for it to negate the simple will I worked so hard to get in place only a week ago. The unlimited drafts Will Wizard offers plus the ability to change the will a couple of times a year for the first few years gives me a lot of emotional comfort; it frees me up from any worry that I may not get it right first time, and gives me the chance to learn more about what I really need while I already have a complex will in place for protection of my estate. I can then tweak my will if I need to, or easily get a totally new one within 3 years without having to pay again. I'm also impressed with the other documentation included in the portfolio: those documents are going to be extremely helpful.

I went to a long established reputable local law firm I had previously done business with first. Had an initial meeting and was told a draft Enduring Power of Attorney and Will type recommendation would be supplied in about a week. about 2 weeks. Four weeks later still nothing. I emailed and the reply was to the effect she no longer worked for the firm and my email would not be forwarded. Contrast this to Will Wizard That evening I did the free Will Wizard tutorial. The online information and good reviews gave me confidence to continue onto the questionnaire and sign on. Within days I had received wonderful, insightful communications, from Tim, asking good questions, leading to a draft, a review, and having the documents prepared. I have since completed both the Testamentary Trust Will and Enduring Power of Attorney which were much better and more cost effective than the offer from the local law firm who did eventually get back to me.

solicitor would simply cast their eye over it to ensure all was in order, I would receive a confirmation invoice, pay, and receive the Wills for signing.

Because mine was more complex than a regular, standard Will, needing additional clauses and trusts, Tim reached out to me several times to ask questions and then explain various complexities about what I was attempting to achieve. I was a Legal Secretary for years, and recognise a great and caring Practitioner when I encounter one, and Tim exceeded ALL expectations. Total old school service that I haven't seen in decades.

With such comprehensive and expertly drafted Wills at a very reasonable cost, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for anyone, regardless of their age, to pass away without a Will, because this leaves a whole world of trouble and delays for your grieving family trying to sort out your affairs ... it is a true nightmare for those left behind, & worst of all, the Court decides who gets what.

Give these guys a try, you don't pay until your wishes and needs are completely sorted, checked and you're ready to sign the most important document you could ever produce.
