receptionist 'are you AI' and she responded 'thanks for sharing' the dead giveaway was when she read my phone number back to me in a very robotic voice. Sorry I just don't like AI. I wanted to get some advice so I paid the $295 which was for up to an hour and I selected a teams hookup meeting. I was emailed a link to the meeting and at the appointed date and time I waited for their lawyer to join. 10 minutes after the start time nobody had joined the meeting and I disconnected and rang the number provided on the meeting email. Not a good impression to make. They were extremely apologetic and said that the meeting would be rescheduled, what could I do so I had to accept. The following week I received an email from the person I would be talking to asking if they could ring me that day for the meeting and I said yes. They rang that day and the call lasted 17 minutes and took some notes and they suggested I contact the Environmental Protection Agency. I thought that this was a bit odd for my situation and rang the EPA, it was quite embarrassing for me as the EPA firmly stated that they did not deal with my type of situations at all. In light of this I emailed the lawyer I spoke to and advised the outcome of the EPA call, they replied that it was disappointing that the EPA would not help me. Their email included an offer of further help if I needed it but I was not satisfied with the information that I had been given by Go to Court Lawyers for the $295 I paid. I rang them again and said I advised I was not satisfied with their service and was advised to send them an email about it. I emailed Go to Court Lawyers with my concerns and not wanting a full refund I suggested a 50% refund instead. Almost 3 months later Go to Court Lawyers have not even acknowledged my email. Go to Court Lawyers are not a good service and give poor advice and do not give refunds. AVOID.

Three missed appointments by the lawyer assigned to my matter. Go To Court were quick to take my money however have not given me a refund. lawyer rang me late in the afternoon to reschedule to 2pm Qld time 13/2/2026. They did not attend the teams meeting on 13/2/2026 and no call. I sent the lawyer a text. True to form no response. Could not get through to the 1800 number either. There’s been no communication from the lawyer or from Go To Court. No apology. They have until tomorrow 20/2/2026 to refund my money. If not refunded I will be proceeding with submitting formal complaints with the relevant authorities.

I contacted Go to Court lawyers to get some legal advice and to seek representation. It took them 3 days to make contact but they eventually did. happened. As time when by I sent emails, called and left voice messages which went unanswered.

Points of interest. The phone answering service is automated, not unlike other companies, however you cannot speak to a human. When you are first contacted all they do is screen you and add details of your enquiry to some sort of file but offer you no actual service or booking.

Seems to me its just a funnel to get information into a system where Lawyers can pick and choose who they want to assist / charge. Don't expect that you will be speaking to lawyers or law firms or get any usable information on initial contact.

As for my matter, I left it too late as I was never able to actually speak to anyone at Go To Court Lawyers. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of these guys.

afternoon with the appropriate lawyer. I was required to pay the appointment fee upfront to secure the initial 1 hour meeting and was sent email with the payment link and immediately paid it. Moments later the thought popped into my head that I just transferred money to an organisation I had never heard of. My bad! However, later that afternoon I was contacted by Bianca (lawyer) and I was immediately placed at ease . Bianca was brilliant - she was exceptionally knowledgeable, very thorough and took the time to understand my issue, she was honest in her advice and recommendations and definitely provided me with sound legal advice and options to consider. Furthermore, Bianca then followed this up with a detailed email recapping our telephone discussion and also her contact details and fees if I needed her assistance in future. This service is excellent and highly recommend GTC Lawyers for any legal advice and/or legal representation and their fees are reasonable..

Initially I was apprehensive as the site says 24 X 7...I booked on Saturday and appointment came on Monday...but I am happy with the Lawyer and the discussion was good and to the point. Happy with the outcome.

agreement says in the first paragraph $3300.00 then further into the cost agreement it says estimated costs and it lists all three times things he was doing for me and they have a combined cost of $1650.00. Hopefully the other $1650.00 will be used to cover cost of the lawyer coming to QCAT court for the urgent orders.

All in all the lawyer is great just maybe over worked and unable to answer his clientele often.

We did not get any valuable information from the lawyer. We have to direct our questions and answers. Not worth the money. The call was delayed because the lawyer had another case so we had to wait to chat with the lawyer.

Disgusting that this company use AI consultants instead of humans. Sensitive and sometimes emotional legal topics discussed with a robot only to be asked to pay $290 upfront to speak/ video chat with a reall lawyer.

We would definitely go back to him for any legal matters again as we have complete faith that he is doing things for the right, ethical reasons and looking to achieve a fair resolution. I found Evan to be both factual and empathetic to my situation. He explained what he thought my outcome would be but he did say he would speak to his boss and get back to me regarding quotes for me to represent me in court and for his opinion on my case.
