Good vacuum, not recommended if you have pet hair – I'm happy with my purchase. Disappointed that it won't pick up visible dog hair on the carpet no matter how many times it goes over it. Surprised after a month that Roborock hasn't responded to my email regarding this. Show details

spinning roller brush in the middle. It is so much easier to clean than the traditional bristle brushes other brands use, and hair doesn’t wrap around it anywhere near as easily, which is a massive win for pet owners and long hair in general. The self-washing mop head feature is also a huge time-saver as a professional cleaner, this alone makes it incredibly valuable to me.

I do have a large 5 bedroom home, so it does need to recharge once before finishing the full clean, but that’s completely understandable for the size of the house and still amazing value for the price. While it’s not perfect in very tight corners or tiny spaces, it still handles the majority of the home effortlessly.

The only downside was the delivery experience it took around three weeks to be shipped with no communication, which was frustrating. Once it arrived though, the product itself has been absolutely worth it.

It also sometimes responds when we haven’t even said “Hey Rocky”, which is a bit funny but not a big deal at all.

Overall, I’d highly recommend it, especially for pet owners, busy households, or anyone wanting a powerful, low maintenance robot vacuum at great value.

Works reasonably well, but has some flaws that I would not expect at this price point. Does not detect glass as a barrier, so spends a lot of time trying to get past our sliding doors and floor to ceiling windows. being a lot longer than you'd expect (takes pretty much a full day to clean our house). Robot often gets confused as to where it is. Can usually resolve by placing back on charge, but have had to clear the map and start again a few times. Voice command is frustrating, triggers too easily even to sounds that no way resemble the key words, and does not recognize commands well (eventually I just turned it off). Replacement parts (mop pads, brush, etc) are expensive (expected that, but still annoying).

Otherwise does an ok job cleaning our floors, which are mostly tiles. Takes a few full runs to clean it well, which can be frustrating due to how long it takes.

easy and done in less than 10 min. First time use isn't that straight forward, you have to download that app, connect to your network (it needs wifi constantly). Once you have everything set up, do the mapping, that takes some time but not too long depending on how big your place is. We have mainly floor boards, some tiles and a couple rugs.

From the moment it finished its first room we realised it was going to be a game changer, we have 2 cats and a dog, meaning a lot of hair if you don't keep up with it. The previous robot, we had to empty the dust bin every day and clean the brushes, it was getting stuck easily... It did a good job but I still had to do a couple of vacuuming in the week and still a full vac and mop once a week. Now to the new normal!

From the first use I can say it cleaned perfectly, got well into the corners and the fact that you can choose either vac, mop or vac and mop makes a big difference. I have it set up to do a full vacuum twice a week then a mopping pass, and the rest of the week it does a vac and mop in one pass and on Sunday I have a quick clean up because i don't want to be disturbed too much. There are so many ways you can set up this machine, you can create rooms, zones, virtual walls exclude areas... it can be deep and maybe sometimes confusing. I admit it can be an easy set up or an actual headache once you dive into routines and zones... but once it is set up, it works flawlessly. The battery life is great, even with the turbo vac setting and mop afterwards there is still juice in the battery. I can now say I love walking barefoot again in my house, it's clean, it smells good if you add something to the cleaning water.

I have it now for over 6 months and I can say the maintenance on it is very minimum but you have to keep with it if you want to have perfect floor everyday.

In my case I have to empty the dirty water and refill the tank every 2-3 days depending on the cleaning schedule i have running and I have hard wood floor so I only use the lowest wetness setting. I also do a mop wash between every room, so it uses more water just to wash the mop. Talking about the mop, clean the tray weekly, I change the round pads twice a week and wash them, so It's on rotation and I still have the set from my original purchase. Yes I bought extra items with the machine, brushes, mop pads, side brushes and vacuum bags. You have everything you need to know about the maintenance on the app, so just keep an eye on it from time to time. But my input so far is I have replaced the vacuum bag twice, changed the main brush only recently and the side brushes twice.

Into the AI in it, it has been caught only once and it was a statement on how bad my daughter 's room was, clothes everywhere, shoes... It usually navigates very well and has always found its way home if the door hasn't closed itself and trapped it. It has avoided the gifts left by the pets almost every time, only one wet furball got caught and the cleaning wasn't too bad. It doesn't get tangled in the power cords to the exception of the finest of the usb cable.

The voice commands are a hit and miss, so it is a function that I have disabled, maybe it has improved since the last time i used it but to be honest the app does what you need anyway so I won't be running to try it out again.

All in all my final thoughts, if you have the budget for it, don't hesitate it will change your life, I now work full time and I am away 12h a day so the last thing I want is cleanup the house. My wife hates this chore so much that she was ready to pay a cleaner to come and do it... well it is like having a cleaner every day for an hour except that you only pay for it once. True it won't tidy the house, clean the mirror organise the bench top for us, but is has free up some valuable time for our family and it is a lot nicer environment to live in not having the fur flying around between clean time. If the budget is not there yet, I bought mine during the amazon sales so I got a good discount off the regular price, so another point to consider if you are ok to wait for that too.

Love our Roborock QRevo MaxV, and have hardly needed to vaccuum/mop our house since we bought it! The robot can get over various height transitions between rooms (classic Queenslander house), rarely gets lost, and only occasionally eats a cord! Lovely to have such a clean house on auto. Still getting used to how to use it but I’m thrilled so far. It does a great vacuume and mop and I love that you can specify which room you want done. The voice commands are a little tricky as yet but the app works beautifully. I did find I needed to download the app to my iPad first and then had no issues with it on the phone rather than trying to connect it on the phone first. Show details
