Support useless – Brought 2 of these phones Bluetooth on both will not connect to my uconnet. Other phones do so. 3 weeks old and will not return or support me. Answered my email straight away and when I explained my trouble I have been ghosted. Also have had lots of people ring me to say they have had phone calls from the phone and nothing on my phone to indicate. Do not buy these phones as they are no longer coming to Australia. POOR INTERNET CONNECTION-CONSTANTLY RESTARTING MY PHONE. I WONT BUY REALME AGAIN – I don't recommend buying this phone. the phone struggles connecting to mobile internet after using WIFI. I use Telstra which has better connectivity than other networks in my area. I constantly have to restart my phone to get connection, usually at a bad time- like when I am setting off in my car and using google maps etc. I realise I have no connection when maps isn't updating itself. really bad. Also other software issues with certain apps. Show details
Have problems with phone cutting out midway through most calls – This phone repeatedly cuts out during phone calls. My service is with Telstra and I've never experienced this problem with any other phone. Realme have provided average customer service with a resolution to this problem. Show details

Pretty good – I've only had it about a month so far, for the price it exceeds expectations as you can use it for about three days from fully charged unless you use tons of power hungry apps and even then you should still have about 20% battery at the end of the three days highly recommend for people who use their phone for work, school, banking and so on
Impressive and good value – Need to get another small phone but don't want to spend too much on it especially most of the smart mobile phones now will only last for 2 years. Realme 7 is a good value phone which comes with 5G; full battery recharge is less than 1 hr; and if you like to take photos, the functions just amazing especially if you like to edit photos. With the value I bought, won't complain. Show details
Perfect – It is an excellent phone with great quality, long lasting battery and very user friendly OS. The screen resolution is high. The most important, very cost effective. Highly recommend it.

Not good – I used the realme 6 for a year then bought the 7 5G as an upgrade. Despite saying it's dual-sim, the sim-tray only takes one sim card. The 5G is terrible, on the train going between 4G/5G/4G the phone doesn't switch back to 4G so you're just offline. I simply disabled 5G so am just using 4G permanently. They're not rated waterproof but: My 6 I… Read more
used at the beach, in the pool, including many underwater videos. My 5G I took to the pool one time and it died. Dead. Despite opening it up to dry out, it is dead. I have gone back to my dual-SIM 4G realme 6 with no issues. Yes, the CPU is noticeably a little slower, but that's the only downside. It still works fine in the pool and at the beach, dual-SIM works again, 4G is 4G whether on a 4G phone or a 5G phone where 5G disconnects you so you disable 5G anyway. Battery may be a little shorter but when you have to plug the phone in during the day regardless, it makes no difference.
I might look at the realme 8 when it comes out but sadly the 7 was a bad buy.
Good 5G for sub $500 – When I decided to move away from an Iphone to an 5G Android device the options that were considered were Xiaomi( Mi and Poco). Unfortunately both had 3rd party website warranties that prompted me to start considering Oppo and Realme( the sister concern). Regarding the phone- Just does what's on the tin, good speed, the Mediatek seems to be… Read more
catching up with Snapdragon processor. No AMOLED display is another Con but 5000mah ensures that you charge it once and the charge stays for 2-3 days ( depending on usage of course). Not a heavy gamer, but the Asphalts, F1 and Football game sessions had no delay whatsover. Camera quality is average- if you are someone who appreciates and prides on photos ( taken on a phone) look elsewhere. The biggest pro is the Price. Can't go too wrong with that price and 2 years Local Aus warranty.
Having said that the biggest issue I had was not with the phone but with the service. The phone was advertised as $399 ( including a free ear pods, of course with a condition that 'till stocks last' ). Having brought it from the RealMe website and not a 3rd party website, one expects and pays for what is one the branding page. But lo and behold that was just an DANGLED CARROT and I feel hard done by cos another big retailer was selling the same config and phone for $320 including the ear pods. So my advice is go for the lowest price that's available with the same warranty instead of the company website. Bitter experience to start off actually puts any one off.
Poor Australian support staff stuck with faulty phone Edited** – I was excited to get this phone. I bought it cause I was worried that I would break my Huawei P30 Pro and I just can't be without one. As Huawei's new devices don't have google play store support, I decided to give this phone a go. While the phone performed very well to start off with, It has since developed issues that are starting to give me a… Read more
headache and Realme in their wisdom have made it worse by not supplying the little things that might actually allow me to fix the phone myself from home.
Basically, I installed the latest update to the phone, all was good then when I left the house and the range of the Wifi, I noticed I stopped getting notifications and calls. I reset the phone and it's fine again, until the next time my phone connects to WiFi and leave the WiFi again. Each time my phone connects to wifi then say I leave the wifi range, my phone stops getting calls, text and any data even though it says it has reception and coverage. Calling Realme, I get someone who has very bad English skills to ask how I get the Realme PC suite so I can back up my phone to my PC, wipe the phone to the factory and restore it to see if this will fix the issue as this has worked with little things in the past in which he states that I have to back all my personal data to Realme's cloud which I refused! After putting me on hold he asks what's going wrong with my phone so I try to explain as easy as I can then after explaining this to him he asks me if I can reset my device. Well, yes, I restart it every time I leave the house or work! He then states there is nothing he can do and suggests that I email Realme which I already had done.
Now, Realme email me with instructions on how to do a back up which mind you, won't work at all. Gets to about 99% and that's it for 24 hours and this won't back up your photos or videos, Just contacts, messages, phone history, and apps so not even a complete backup. Now yeah, I know I can just copy the data over using explorer however, My Huawei, I plugged it in, pressed back up as it automatically would open Hisute and pressed back up and that's it. Oh, and I could encrypt it if I so desire. So, I cant do a backup, I can't do anything with it as it needs to be wiped before I send it in for repair. I now have a phone, sitting on my desk that I cant use as it's supposed to be used either.
All of this could have been avoided by having a PC suite! How embarrassing because the phone its self is actually been really food for the first 3 months. It's fast, the screen is pretty good, the camera is good for daytime photos, not even close to being good in night mode but I could be expecting a lot as the Huawei turns night into the day somehow, and the design of the phone is so pretty! The battery is pretty good also. One downside is that you lose a sim slot if you use an external SD card however if I had to choose I would rather have this set up than no external storage!
** So, today I called the realme/oppo service centre in Victoria as I was provided with an express return label to this centre. The lady was super rude, she was speaking over the top of me and generally very unhelpful. I asked her if the call was being recorded and she stated no to which I stated I was in an office with CCTV and I would be lodging a complaint to her manager about this. I asked for her manager's details but she refused to let me speak to the manager or even let me know the manager's name so I can call back and ask for them. I decided to contact the NSW office and the lady who answered quite firmly told me that the call is not being recorded and that I have no permission to record her. Now, I was not recording anyone however I am in an office where I am recorded this is not my choice. I asked what prompted her to say after I introduced my self and she very directly and firmly repeated herself. This was concerning to me. The staff at 2 different locations had both made some form of assumptions. I asked to speak to the manager and once again this was refused. I was met with a passive-aggressive tone. I then asked for an email address that I can lodge a formal complaint which was given to me however, it was received by the second lady who gave me the email address. I now worry If I send my phone back for repairs that they will state that nothing is wrong with it. I now have a phone that I cant use as intended, I have 2 service centres that are refusing to help me and a bill for $500 for a phone that wont work. Both oppo and realme need to overall their staff training in Australia and need to record their staff for better training and quality control**

Surprisingly good Android Smart phone – I've been a Samsung phone fan for years due to their reliability. I bought the Realme 7 because its features looked very competitive. I see no point in buying a non 5G phone. But the prices were too high for me. So I took a chance because they were on special at JB HIFI and the phone has proved to be amazing. The bad news: At first if I moved out… Read more
of our home wireless area, the mobile data and SMS stopped working. I rebooted it and off it went. This is not an acceptable solution. Next I tried turning the airplane mode on and off again. That worked Still not acceptable though. I was prepared to take it back. But found a solution on YouTube which involves going into development mode. So if I can find it, why can't Realme fix it?So my phone has to be permanently in development mode, otherwise the fault reappears. It is an acceptable solution that should be fixed permanently by the manufacturer! The pull down auto-rotate quickset button was not available for at least a week, but after one of it's numerous updates it suddenly appeared. Now the good news: After updating itself numerous times and ending up with Android 11,it is amazing. So many functions that it can easily be compared to a modern iPhone and in a lot of respects, is better. Certainly much better value for money. It is as good as any high priced Android if you don't use it for gaming or any other high processing function. The screen is great. The battery life is excellent compared to my old Samsung. Even with it updating and switched on for 24 hours it still had 62 percent charge. Touch screen is very smooth and quick. The 128G of memory and 8G of RAM, makes for a much faster everything and lots of room for photos (with the excellent camera). It's quite heavy but not overly so and comes with a basic wrap around protective case. It needs a proper case. Plenty of screen settings for the most discerning user can be set. The change from the old Samsung to the new phone is seamless as a result. I'm very pleased with the phone. In fact the best mobile phone I've ever owned.
Very good. Music Player takes time and patience to work some functions – Needed considerable patience to extricate the quirks of the Music Player. The User's Manual lacks detail on some functions and operations. DON'T TRY TO IMPOSE ON US THE MINIMUM WORDS FOR OUR REVIEW; WE DETERMINE THAT.
Nice product, slow delivery – It's a nice product to use. It should have arrived on Sep 10. But the delivery was delayed for 5 days due to the high demand of the post office.
Satisfactory phone purchase – I have now purchased 2 Realme smartphones ( Recommended by Choice ) and to date they have performed as required. The purchase price for these phones is also a big factor in selecting these models.

Review for the Realme 7 5G – I have had the Realme 7 5G Phone for a couple of days now, didn't take me long to get used to it, I like the fast refresh rate of 120 and the storage capacity, it is a little bigger that I am used to would recommend the phone and I am thinking buying another for the wife
Excellent value for money – Was looking for a phone under $400 with great camera, large screen and easy to use, and after a lot of research settled on the Realme 7 5G .(Reduced from $499 to $399 at Realme Australia )My son moved from Samsung to an Oppo phone (which he bought for a couple of hundred dollars more ,and loves it),as it does everything his previous phone did… Read more
for half the price.I read where Realme is produced by Oppo, so that is the way I went, and I`m not disappointed. In fact I am absolutely thrilled, and have no complaints at all-and I even have 5G available. Phone is less than one month old, so only time will tell if it will go the distance ,but so far no problems. Can recommend.
This is a replacement for realme 6 – I was very happy with realme 6 and am more so with 7. I like its alarm features and sms is good that I do not have to use google speak. Charging is so fast.
As described- good value phone – Phone itself is impressive- good value, great specs and nicely packaged. Delivered in reasonable timeframe as promised. Only thing that was disappointing was not receiving ear pods which were a current promotion for that model at time of ordering. I could have purchased at a different retailer and received this free gift with purchase as was… Read more
keen to try them. Response from Realme was that the promotion had ended (it had not- still had a week left) Otherwise good value and happy with phone itself.
Excellent for the price – Does what is required of it, if you want 5G and aren't concerned about the quality of your photos this will do the job, overall, not a bad phone for the price. Performs better then I expected it too. Show details
Cheap but competitive, – So I moved from realme 5 to realme 7, massive pick up, works smother, I got my realme 5 in January 2019 upgrade last fortnight to real 7, so I'm expecting long long life from the brand, it offer's exactly what other phones offer, but at a good price, due to Corona viruses I had to get the real pro 7 but I wanted the x7 Or x50 or GT, but I'm happy to get an upgrade from the pro 5, all in all I think it's a very good alternative to Samsung
Amazing device, What more would you want – 5G, 8GB RAM, 5000mAH battery, octa core processor, 120 Hz display and 30 W dart charger and more than decent camera. These are specs of an top end phone. I was pleasantly surprised when I used the phone for the 1st time and after 1 week worth of heavy use I am very happy. Opening more than 6 apps in the background you need fast processor and… Read more
minimum 8GB RAM. This device has it all. The battery life is very good and lasts whole day. The picture quality is very crisp and clear with the ability to see finer details. And best of all the 120Hz display is simply amazing. Until you use a 120 Hz display, you would not know what you were missing.
The only downside being, wish the screen was bigger than the 6.5 inch. With 90% screen to body ratio, there is some loss of space. These specs can easily have a 6.7 or even 6.9 inch. This device will give any top end phone run for its money.
Surprisingly Exceptional – I've been a staunch Samsung user for over a decade and due to recent circumstances, had to look for a cheaper alternative. I did my research and was impressed with the stats on paper for the Realme 7 5G. I was very cautious but decided to take the leap and buy one. They had a deal going here in Australia for free Realme Buds Q with a Realme 7 5G… Read more
purchase so I went with that. I have to say, I've been honestly blown away with how impressive this phone and the buds have been. Unreal performance for a phone this cheap. Battery is huge and lasts for ages, fast charging is so quick. Even down to the materials used in making the charger and cable, they look and feel phenomenally top quality. I had little expectations but they've blown me out of the water. Would 100% recommend.
Absolute value of money – Fast, reliable and value of money. The design and capacity make it like a $1000 Samsung. However, you don’t have to pay extra $700 for that useless brand. Will definitely recommend others.

This is a great phone for $399 – I needed a new phone and wasn’t going to big $$$$ for the iPhone or Samsung so I gave this realme 7 5G a go and I’m happy with it for what I want. I’m not a big user of phones so I can’t give people a detail report just that it does what I want and I’m happy so far. Battery life is great so far I’ve been using it now for 5 days and it’s not even down to 50% Show details
Performance meh. Software experience terrible – The performance is ok good enough to browse and 2d games. The one thing ruins the phone is the software. Realme UI/ ColorOS really isn't a good experience and they remove a lot of features from stock android, settings are everywhere and searching for some of them doesn't appear in the search. Wanted to try a different brand other than a Samsung… Read more
and I regret it should have just gotten an Iphone SE 2020. Practically 2x the price of this phone and performs excellent(tried it in the shops) and software experience just feels better.
Great Phone – This is my 3rd Realme phone. Very simple to use with plenty of storage and processing power to handle everything i use it for. Great camera with plenty of functions. Very good phone and price.
Very Fast – I bought this phone for my daughter who found it after extensive research. She wanted a phone with a long battery life and was fast. This phone is solid, teenager proof, and is fast.
Superb Phone and great value for money – Quick Review below - 8 GB RAM - No lag in multiple applications, watching videos and simultaneously messaging - 128 GB memory - Enough Room for data plus micro SD card can be added for more room. - Fast Charging with the Dart Charger allows for quickly charging the phone. SUPER VALUE FOR MONEY – Clear screen, fast charging and a very good camera. Some reviews were critical of the camera quality, they are wrong its very good. If better is needed buy a camera!!
Great product – Excellent phone no lag, decent battery, large screen. Does exactly what my iPhone does even better. Bonus ear buds great deal under $500. Honestly I don’t think you need an iPhone at $1200
nice phone good price top value – really good screen, no lag at all, excellent sound with the ear buds,,,,its excellent value, clear screen, good size,,,,dont think you will find better for 500. including the ear buds,,great deal Show details
Excellent phone with superior quality! – This phone has some of the best features on the market today. Comes 5G ready, super long battery life, 8GB RAM and loads of additional features. Comes at a ridiculously low price, and performance has blown my mind. I'd highly recommend this phone.
What a great unit – Love the finger print and facial recognition , so easy to use thank you , and I was surprised to find a silicon cover on the box , super fast charging and long battery life
What an excellent phone – After being so pleased with my first realme phone, ( realmeXT ) I decided to wait until realme released their first 5G phone. Well what a good decision that was. I absolutely love it and 5G is as fast as they say. The phone is very quick, and I am glad I made the decision to try out a realme phone just over 12 months ago. Making the other 'big name brands' not so big afterall. You won't regret getting one of these.
A really good product – A lot of tech at a very reasonable price very satisfied with the phone, proves you do not have to spend a fortune to keep you in touch with the digital world.
Extremely good quality and features except – The quality and features are extremely good except for the fact that the camera can't scan QR codes, it would definitely be a five star if it could, and the night mode camera needs to be held still for 30 seconds which is slightly annoying
