I love my Airconditioner. It works so well and efficiently. I have it on 23 in the mornings and 19 rest of the day. Keeps the whole house warm. I am very satisfied and the controls work perfectly well with what I would like. I will always buy another one. Very happy with the Airconditioner. I have many friends that also have one. Satisfied Coustomer. Show details

We recently replaced our 22-year-old ducted air conditioner with a brand new Mitsubishi ducted system, installed by Simmons Heating and Cooling. We’re extremely happy with its performance, especially during Adelaide’s cold winter. The outdoor unit runs very quietly, and the whole system has made a noticeable difference in comfort. We highly recommend Mitsubishi air conditioners! Show details

I agree with Paul who has also reviewed how noisy the Mitsubishi compressor is for my ducted central heating. It is like a jet plane taking off anytime the temperature difference between set temp and actual temp is more than one degree. Also, now winter has set in in Canberra, it is using 40kWh/day which has doubled my electricity costs. Only two… Read more

fan speeds and the lowest setting is 17 degrees Celsius, meaning it comes on all night OR I have to sit through 1.5 hours of extremely loud noise in the morning when the machine comes on to heat up my house. It has taken me a few months to get used to this machine and I would have appreciate more information about how it works before paying $11,380 for install and equipment. Things I didn't expect: the compressor can be very loud and now I start it at 5am every morning so the worst of the noise is over by the time I get up. There is a 2 degree temperature window before the machine stops heating or starts heating again that you can't do anything about. The machine reduces the amount of heat generated when it is approaching the set temp, which means it takes a very long time to reach the set temp and switches off, meaning that you have air blowing for hours (up to 4 hours), even though product info says the fan will stop when the heating temp is reached. If I was considering this decision again, I would not choose this style of air con, even though it seems to make sense because it heats and cools. On the plus side, it is pretty cozy.

After having a Mr Slim system for over 20 years when it finally failed I had no hesitation in installing another Mitsubishi system. The new system is very good and is very easy to use as well as being very quiet. We are very happy and have no hesitation in promoting your product. Show details

Compressor is quieter, fans run slower. Power usage is significantly lower when desired room temperature is reached. We have only used the unit for heating so far. We are hopeful that this unit will cope with the regular 44degrees C days during summer without fault coding like our last Mitsubishi Mr Slim unit. Show details

VERY NOISY – Outdoor unit is so noisy the neighbours are complaining. I researched the noise level of this unit before I decided between it and the Daikin, and it is stated as 52dB. I have measured it at over 65dB. The installers made a warrranty claim with Mitsubishi, they sent someone who shrugged it off as "that's how they are". I have spent $8500 on an… Read more

aircon system that I am now reluctant to turn on. VERY UNHAPPY! Also worth noting - there are only 2 fan speeds to choose from. This is not made clear, all the manuals and literature I found show pictures of 4 or 5 fan levels, with a caveat that says "depends on model" - but for a large 12.5 kw unit this seems surprising, I do not have much control over the fan speed, high is so strong it's unusable so really I only have one option (low).

Ducted Air Conditioner is awesome – Can’t believe how great this system is and how easy to operate. Touch screen and phone app make it easy to control anywhere .Zone control means I can turn it off in rooms not needed. Very quiet. Show details

Informed decision lead to perfect choice – Having high ceilings and a large floor area, I chose a unit with capacity to effortlessly meet the demands of both heating and cooling. On setting of 19c, the ambient area is 22.5 whilst on heat. More than comfortable. It is quiet, no interior noise and the outside unit can barely be heard. Controls user friendly and A/C has been set to turn… Read more

A valued improvement to our home – We replaced our 14yr old digital scroll ducted system, with a Mitsubishi ducted system and are very pleased with the results. It is quiet (which the neighbors appreciate). The new system quickly brings the home to a comfortable setting, and have been monitoring the power usage and found it uses less than our old system. Show details

Mitsubishi ducted air conditioner (PEA M100 GAA) – We have had a Mitsubishi air ducted conditioner installed in our 1920s California bungalow. The outside unit is located near a window but surprisingly quiet and the airflow is much more gentle and effective than the older split system in another part of the house. It is winter so we haven't tested the cooling mode. Mitsubishi have a service centre… Read more

Effective and very quiet – My air conditioner is very new and am only using the heating as it is winter, but I'm happy with its performance. I especially like that it is almost silent when on the low fan and not at all intrusive when on high fan. Show details

So far so good – I haven't had my new Mitsubishi air conditioner very long, so not experienced any hot weather yet, but it is certainly lovely and warm during the cold weather. I love the fact that it is so quiet. My old air conditioner was very noisy (Not Mitsubishi.) I am finding the controls easy to use, and the control unit is very neat and sits well on my white walls. Very happy so far. Show details

Perfect for winter heating and summer cooling – We chose this 12.5kW Mitsubishi Electric Ducted RC to replace an old ducted evaporative aircon and gas heating combo in September 2019. It was a rather large job to rip out 2 sets of ducting and remove the old evaporative unit and the gas unit, which the installers did in one day by sending out a big team who arrived in 4 separate vans! After… Read more

sales service was exceptional - the installers returned to adjust the thermostat, check/replace a length of damaged ducting, and tweaked the system till it was performing to my satisfaction.

At 12.5kW, the unit is nicely sized for our home of 5 “zones” consisting of an open plan living-dining-kitchen area flowing through an open corridor to a second smaller sitting room, a massive bedroom and 2 large bedrooms. The maximum cooling / heating capacity was designed to suit a “day” combo of the living-dining-kitchen plus 1 other zone, and “night” combo of the 3 bedrooms. The system is also very quiet, both indoors and outside where the 2 units are stacked one on top of the other.

We also chose a touchscreen zone controller with a coloured light strip indicator - very useful as you can tell at a glance from across the room what setting the unit is on. This is a very sophisticated controller with all sorts of options that we don’t need, and so, don’t use. But I do so love the convenience of the light strip.

In addition, we chose to put in a WiFi option which we use all the time with an app on our phones. Indeed, we tend to use the free Mitsubishi app on our phones both when we are at home and when we’re out. (When we installed the ducted system, we also retrofitted WiFi to the 2 Mitsubishi split RC systems in bedrooms 4 and 5 in the back part of the house which were not part of the ducted system. With the Mitsubishi app, we now control all 3 systems from anywhere. Very convenient. Really, really love the WiFi.)

After the summer of 2019/20 where Adelaide hit 46.6C, and winter 2020 when Adelaide experienced its coldest morning since 1944, this recent week’s heatwave of 36-37C was easy-peasy.

The Mitsubishi performs well at both extremes, cranking up the heat or cool air as needed in quick time. It also performs well for extended periods. During the 35-40+C days, we run the system day and night keeping temperatures at 24C and - if we can bear the heat - giving it a scant 1 hour break in the early mornings before turning it on again.

Cleaning the filter in the indoor intake duct is recommended every 6 months, and is an easy DIY. Unscrew the hinged grill door to the duct, drop it down, remove the filter, give the filter a wash under the tap, dry and slot it back into the grill door, fasten the screw. Done!

All in, energy use seems to be efficient as well, and our energy bills (with help from our solar system) are lower than when we ran the evaporative cooling & gas heating system.

So, very happy overall to be warm in winter and cool in summer, with Wi-Fi app control from anywhere.
