No hassles at all – Shipping did take a little bit of time however I did order just before Easter so that was expected hence I didn't upgrade to Express Shipping. Product wise I am super happy with how the iPad is working perfectly no issues and feels like a new device. I love that it comes with a warranty incase anything happens as well as a brand new charging cord and adaptor.

Lasted until just out of warranty and Apple confirmed a 'Hardware Fault' and told us to buy a new one – My wife and I purchased an Apple iPad Air and Gen 2 pencil in late December 2020 - with the first usage in 2021. We spent the extra money to buy the Air model (with top 256gb memory) so that we could, as artists, try the Procreate software for producing art. The unit has received very little use and was looked after immaculately. Since the day we… Read more

bought it, there were intermittent issues with the touch functionality and intermittent minor freezes. We thought this was strange but others told us that, like all computers, sometimes iPads can have 'freezes' etc and can be fixed with forced shutdowns etc - which always worked. Last week, whilst using it to read the newspaper, the screen froze and the iPad would not even allow itself to be shut down. I made an appointment with our local Apple store. After relating the story to the service agent, she had it examined by a technician who told us it was a 'Full hardware breakdown' and was unrepairable. The customer service agent commented that the unit was clearly well-looked after and looked new - which is true. And even the battery life was still at 100%, She then told us that unfortunately the unit was just outside the usual replacement period and told us to simply throw it out and buy a new one! In the inspection process they destroyed an expensive glass screen protector and wiped the drive of our softwares and files. We were shocked and asked her if it was normal for an iPad to last only 3 years(?) - especially one costing well over $1000 at the time! She told us this was not abnormal and that an iPad, regardless of its cost bracket, could be expected to last between 3 - 10 yrs. We have been extremely disappointed and shocked by Apple's response that, despite even our previous intermittent 'hardware issues' since purchase, it was considered perfectly 'normal and expected' for a $1000-plus-machine to last only 3 years! After our family's recently purchasing the latest iPhones (and many other Apple products over the last 10yrs - which would easily run into the 10s of thousands of dollars), we expected a better and more reasonable response from Apple! The service attendant tried to persuade us to buy another iPad at the time of our appointment, however, after this dismal and unfair response from Apple I wonder why we would consider continuing to be Apple customers? Unfortunately, this tends to appear like a large company, with complete power over us as customers, refusing to adequately address a clear manufacturing fault, and leaving us with little or no recourse to a just and fair outcome. We feel so unnecessarily betrayed and disappointed by Apple's treatment of us as loyal customers.

Do not buy this, nor take out Apple Care…they don’t care! – Bought my iPad July 2021 and within a short time it had overlay issues in ‘mail’. This means you cannot read an email because another email’s text lays over the top. I have Apple Care and have had multiple ‘experts’, have had to be on the phone hours on end and had to totally re format the iPad as a double check for the ‘engineers’ (not able to… Read more

use a backup), which took 7 hours. I am still without a functional device. They have logged in to my device so they can see the evidence and have screenshots and videos of the error. Yet they still pass me from one person to the next. No one will do anything. I was told they’d send a replacement (I don’t live anywhere near an Apple Store) but they want to take a credit on my card before they will!! I have paid for this near new device & they want me to pay again????? I have been paying monthly Apple Care & they won’t call when agreed…nor actually do something. So all I can say is avoid Apple like the plague (or Covid) and definitely Apple Care is useless. The Philippine ‘experts’ don’t help & won’t refer you higher because they want their commission. Poor form from Apple! I am so disappointed and cannot recommend either the iPad or the service at all. It’s a huge risk!

This is the worst product ever – My iPad Air 4 is only 3 months old and now won’t charge so it’s useless. There’s no Apple store where I live and no repairer so I have no way of getting it fixed. They should not be able to sell products that are not fit for purpose. Show details

Happy and dependable iPad – Lightweight and easy to use. The finger lock sensor isn’t the best as it doesn’t pick up the finger print every time so I don’t use it. I have had for over 6 months now and no complaints. It’s the easiest and most convenient tablet for me to use, only thing, the typing suddenly makes really loud noise like sounds, click click all of a sudden… Read more

when I’m typing, so I turned off and on again, not sure why this happens.

Otherwise, ease of use and format is fantastic. Camera is good too. I use for browsing only.

Great Ipad, slim and fast – Bought this ipad a few month back. Excellent performance and fits beautifully with the magic keyboard. The batteries last longer than my previous ipad gen 6. Love the slimline and feel of it. Do not regret buying it. Show details

Wonderfully suited for my daughter – I recently purchased this iPad for my daughter, and like most Android users I bought it with scepticism. To my amazement on unboxing, I noticed it's sleek design as it was quite attractive (lol). But the best part is how my daughter was able to quickly learn the functions like closing and opening the iPad and all its features (camera, YouTube and… Read more

other apps) and she's only 4 years old. I truly recommend this to any parent who is looking for something relatively affordable to buy their child as I am now looking into buying an iPhone for myself. (Maybe. Lol)

Premium device, without the Pro Price – I love this new iPad Air 4 Gen model, it has most of the Pro features, has a premium feel, and it performs exactly what is expected in a tablet priced in its range. Having bought from the Apple store because my telco and other electronics stores have no stock, it’s obvious this is a very popular device to be sold out everywhere else. Show details

Annoying – This device almost continuously asks me to enter or put in a new apple id. Then it sends an email to a friends ipad with a code that i have to put in. Then it asks me for a new password as i cant use a previously used password. I wont be buying apple again. Its driving me crazy.  Show details
