I bought my Apple I Pad from…Xtreme Communications shop 19 Victoria Point Shopping Centre Queensland 4165. It was on special for $888,Geraldine then added a glass protector and slimline cover, then offered to transfer everything from my old 8th generation all at no added cost. I remain loyal to Apple products because I have never had any… Read more

issues, hopefully I don’t jinx myself by saying that. I like that the 10th generation does not have a button its all about swiping..makes more sense because the button on my 8th generation is definitely sinking into the abyss. I have always found the quality of Apple products to be second to none. The camera takes a sharper photo, even make me look good in a selfie. I have also found the sound quality to be a tad clearer. Battery life is excellent…but..in saying that I am not one to live on my devices. For tips to get the most out of your I Pad visit…apple.com/ipad The directions are simple and straightforward. It meets the energy star guidelines for energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption saves money. The I Pad will go to sleep after two minutes of inactivity, you can change the timing within the settings. It came with a one year limited warranty, includes the hardware product and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship. Very Happy With My Choice.

Hopefully the charging cord outlasts the I Pad,they can be expensive.

From Android tablet to Ipad – Bought IPad so to be compatible with iPhone 14 Pro, particularly travelling taking photos used as a back up and storage, and to Hard drives, SSD Drives, had Samsung tablet prior to do this, however was very tedious transferring Data, Photos etc. for the most part the IPad is very good, transferring stuff is Awkward as it has to go to Files first… Read more

before transfer, took me quite a bit of time and research to work out how, Apple don’t give you a manual as such, much Googling, YouTube etc. I am beginning to grasp it, I think Samsung has a better Filing system, Better Gallery and easier to shift stuff, Folders etc. But Airdropping is working out. But I must say the iPad Gallery could have a better Folder system, when transferring you have to be aware, of where your photos will turn up, and then require sorting into created Folders, Needs a better Sorting, shuffling allocating, visual awareness of where they are. Takes time, and also as I did an Update on my iPhone and iPad the Gallery and this has changed its viewing, taking a bit of getting used to

Apple iPad's will cost you Money and a lot of Stress! – I purchased the iPad only to run a flight app that did not run on Android. But the iPad has done nothing but give me trouble. I purchased a cellular unit as I wanted to be able to make cellular phone calls. This was the first rude shock. An iPad cellular tablet CANNOT make a cellular phone call! Only android can do that it seems! I tried to delete… Read more

music off the iPad using the iPad but only to find out if you copied it with iTunes, you needed iTunes to delete something! Talk about making a simple task impossible if you are away from your computer! Everything I did was really hard on the iPad and it is the most unused friendly device, even as a programmer that I have ever had to work with. But lastly, I forgot my passcode it seems as what I thought it was suddenly did not work anymore. So I tried other codes I thought maybe I used. First attempt and it locked me out for 1 minute. I tried again and it locked me out for 15 minutes! So I tried again and it locked me out for an hour! In trying to get iTunes to recognize it and it says to turn it off but that reset the hour even though I had not tried again! What a nightmare. Seems apple is determined to make you hate them and their product with a vengeance with how hard they make things for you. Anyway, so now I had to reset the tablet and lose everything! To make things even harder, I find you need a computer to do the reset and iTunes. But now iTunes decided it did not want to recognize the tablet anymore in its locked state despite what the apple support site claimed. So my over $1000 tablet is now a brick. I will NEVER buy anything from apple again as their programmers are terrible and half of what they claim to work does not work. Everything you want to copy on and off had to be done with iTunes which is also very hard to use and work out. So here is some good advice. Do NOT buy Apple but save you the grief and buy an Android device.

  Wi-Fi + Cellular

You cannot even delete a photo from your tablet if you put them there with iTunes! Never an Apple again! – Even as a programmer, everything you try to do on an iPad is a nightmare, and you have to search the net to something as simple as deleting a photo or adding a photo. You have to use ITunes to copy your music and photos on to your IPad and it is hard to use, unreliable, gives errors with no answers on the net as to why, and does not work every… Read more

time.

When I went looking for a way of deleting photos from my iPad as room was short, I COULD NOT DO IT!! If you coped them on with ITunes, you have to remove them with ITunes. And if you do not have ITunes handy, bad luck, there is NOTHING you can do! That is beyond belief that you cannot even delete a photo without it if you put them there with iTunes! You stay out of room and cannot perform your task. You are screwed and it seems Apple does not care.

So I went to remove all photos and videos except for some the videos that were big that I wanted. I removed everything but those ones and told iTunes to resync to remove all but them. But it deleted EVERYTHING, and then commenced to copy the items back on that I wanted to remain!! Why didn’t it just leave the ones wanted in the first place rather than delete everything and copy them back again??? That is really stupid!

I have never had to work with such utter rubbish as an Apple iPad and their bug ridden hard to use iTunes program. I wish I never bought this rubbish.

If you want to do this on an android tablet, you just plug it into your computer and it shows up like a thumb drive and you just freely copy things on and off just like you would a thumb drive.

Apple could not have made this harder to use if they tried. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to use. The internet is full of people asking questions on how to do the simplest tasks. That is when Apple should know there setup is rubbish and change it. But no, they have had this system for years and they are losing their hold on the market and no wonder. They will continue to do so until they wake up and make it user friendly and no a nightmare to use. Plan on many hours for every simple take you want to do.

And when I forest bought this cellular tablet, the first rude shock was you cannot make a phone call with it. You can on Android, but not on an Apple tablet. Another bad joke. Buy Android or be prepared to waste a lot of time and be very limited on what you can do.
