A good, inexpensive shaver – I bought the Tac Shaver from Australia Post. At $39.95 I thought it was worth a try especially as the reviews were favourable. only lasts 6 months I'll be happy, I expect it will last considerably longer though as it has a neat compact design. The Tac did take a bit of getting used to after using other styles of electric shavers but I got a neat, close shave on my first use. Its rectangular shape does not seem as natural in the hand as more traditional electric shavers. I intend to use it as my regular shaver though I will occasionally use a blade for that really close shave. I now charge the Tac on a USB port on my desktop pc and am thinking of buying a second Tac for use in my car.

It is now 10 months since I bought this shaver. It is still working and still gives a good shave.

It's everything it claims to be – Shaves better than any of the better known brands I own, and so compact and lightweight, perfect for travelling as well as everyday home use. I find it charges quicker when connected to a phone charger, much better than having to have a supply of batteries like with my other travel shaver, and the rotary heads much better than foils. Show details
