delay, I contacted customer service and was told that the items could be delivered within approximately a month, and I was even asked if I was happy to wait. At no point was I informed that there were any stock issues. Only after following up again was I told that the supplier had no stock available at all. This contradicts the previous information I was given and suggests a lack of transparency in their communication. Overall, I am frustrated that I was able to purchase items that were not available, and that I was given misleading information when I tried to get an update. I would not recommend based on this experience.

I bought a TV at a reasonable price. There are other websites with similar prices; I chose this one because I wanted home delivery. I gave it a suitable delivery time, but I was surprised to receive a message saying there had been a change the time.

from Stan Cash, which they assured me was brand new but “carton-damaged stock.” From day one, the fridge was faulty—it didn’t cool or freeze. A service technician later confirmed the compressor was defective.
When I contacted Stan Cash to report the issue, they flatly refused to provide a replacement fridge. Instead, they pushed me to choose another brand from their stock. I declined as I wanted the fridge I originally purchased. Shockingly, they told me there was nothing they could do and hung up on me!
After seeking advice from Consumer Affairs, I was informed that Stan Cash was breaching Australian Consumer Law (ACL), specifically: • Section 54: Guarantee as to acceptable quality • Section 55: Guarantee as to fitness for purpose • Section 260: Failure to remedy a major problem
Under the ACL, if a product has a major failure, the consumer is entitled to choose a replacement or refund (at customer choice). When I informed the store manager of this, they begrudgingly agreed to find me a replacement fridge.
You’d think this would resolve the issue, but sadly, it didn’t. The “replacement fridge” they delivered had a bent power pin that snapped off, rendering it useless. By this point, I had been without a fridge for 7 days, resulting in: • $500 worth of spoiled food • $400 in additional costs from eating out
When I asked Stan Cash to compensate me for these losses they flatly refused. This is yet another breach of the ACL: • Section 259(4): Compensation for loss or damage

Now, the “replacement” fridge is also faulty. Both Stan Cash and Electrolux have informed me that it could take up to 3 months to get another replacement. This is beyond unacceptable.
Given their dismissive attitude and refusal to take accountability, I am now pursuing legal action through VCAT to recover my losses and costs.
What’s truly baffling is that this entire ordeal could have been resolved for a few hundred dollars, but Stan Cash’s negligence and disregard for customer care have now escalated into thousands of dollars in losses and significant reputational damage.
I hope my review serves as a stark warning to anyone considering purchasing from Stan Cash. This company has completely forgotten what customer service is about. My advice? Avoid Stan Cash at all COST!

on a new Fisher and Paykel. Even though they are in Vic and I’m in Brisbane, I placed an order.
Their communication was excellent and the fridge arrived just when they said it would. Unfortunately, it came out of the box with a small dent in the freezer door but Stan Cash was on the phone within 1/2 hr to sort out a replacement door with the manufacturer. I’m waiting for that but I understand it might take a while under current circumstances and it doesn’t affect the fridge operation so no problem yet.
I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from Stan Cash and the refrigerator was a competitive price as well.

moisture left behind and suggest it didn't do much better than wiping the (old velour) couches down with a warm damp cloth. It did seem to remove some dirt judging by the dirty water, though hard to tell whether it was more than vacuuming alone as we didn't vacuum them prior.
We then did the main carpet floors of our house (7+ years old, dusty area, two cats, never washed) immediately after vacuuming thoroughly with a Wertheim 4030 powered brush head, and was very happy with the result using even just the express wash, where there was a LOT of dirt and additional cat hair removed (I don't know where from!!), and the carpets were clean and dry to walk on in under 1hr.
We used the included sample treatment and found that with a few extra passes over problem areas that it was able to budge long term stains in the carpets (coffee and food etc) that had not been easily cleaned with manual efforts.
Overall, I can't say we'll be rushing to do the furniture with the extension, but we are very happy with the results on our carpet from the main unit which is primarily why we purchased it.
