Lasted 11 years – After 11 years of use, our fridge died yesterday. Called up Samsung who referred me to the samsung repair plaza. I was quoted $160 for a callout fee and was told Samsung only manufacture parts for 5 years, so parts most likely won't be available. better support from Samsung.

Called up an independent fridge repairer who mentioned that it sounds like a major problem.

Need to look for a new fridge now. Samsung is definitely off my list for all home appliances.
