contacting the Co a number of times but no response. They have an address but no phone number. This includes an ABN and ASIC check (the ASIC phone # listed is 12345678 go figure. I contacted my bank and was given an instant refund, I asked why and was advised 'they must be aware of this Co'. Now I have a Jump starter that looks fit for purpose however I purchased it as we travel remotely but I'm not sure I can trust it and have serious doubts any warranty would by honoured.

Wonderful, money well spent! – Excellent choice. Very reliable. I have already booted my sedan three times and still charger has more than 75% left. I bought the 2000 A model.

Rooboost Power Pack 2000 – Great product and very easy to use. Works very well jump starting. Can charge things. Has a torch too see what you are doing. same request to their advertised support Email address. There was no reply.

I then submitted the warranty registration with 00000000 as the serial number and received automated confirmation

Many of their Facebook reviews complain that Rooboost warranty claims go unanswered after product failure.

This is very different to the almost universal positive reviews for this product on Product Review. None mention warranty failure and there is almost no mention of product failure.

This casts doubt on the usefulness of reviews in Product Review.

I have had as many failures as successes with jump starters and power banks. Some have swollen and failed to charge or failed to discharge but none so far have burst into flames.

If you are averse to the risk of one of these igniting in your home I suggest not relying on Product Review to select one. And not relying on the "warranty" offered by Rooboost.

Unboxing shows a product that is not quite as sturdy as other brands I have used and has less substantial leads and plugs and has a peculiar ornate case that would not be out of place in a game machine.

Unboxed it worked as claimed.

Useless – I purchased one of these jump starter for $139 "1500 AMP" did not use it for few months but when I needed to start my small sedan, it did not even turn the engine, it's low quality trash, don't waste your money, it will not even turn the engine when you have flat battery.

pushed the plug (that holds the leads that connect to the battery) into the unit far enough. Totally my fault. Once rectified, the unit started the vehicle first time. My vehicle is a 3.5 litre turbo diesel. Thanks Rooboost. A great product I would happily recommend. UPDATE.- Since posting my original review, the booster has been used multiple times and never failed.

Rooboost Power Pack 2000 – Excellent product and great to carry around. You get a case to put all your items in. You get a 240v, 12v, 5v USB chargers. So all charging voltages are cover.. Very quick delivery. Easy to keep it charged ready to use. It's a bit hard to put jumping cables in but ok once you get the hang of it. Don't know about perfect !! – Had to use it in anger for the first time today battery on 11.7 v and starter would not do one revolution. Hooked up the Rooboost and started immediately. Made the Rooboost value for money in one go. Thank You. Show reply
