It took me a couple of tries to adjust to using it as it is so different to my old Barmix but I am beginning to think it is actually better. It certainly blends much quicker. This was so easy to use and versatile! I love how the attachments are easy to clean, and the power was great (it is so quick and easy to blend ingredients for dips and batters). I use the Optimum Stick Blender regularly especially for making pesto sauces and blitzing up protein balls in seconds. It’s powerful, super easy to use, and the clean-up is quick. The attachments make it so versatile without taking up much space. A must-have for any busy kitchen! Show details ·  1

subject to heavy use - those buttons get pressed every time the blender is used. I would prefer a twist mechanism for securing the attachments.

The attachments should not be immersed in water! I hand washed the attachments as per the instruction manual, and they all ended up full of water. It took ages for them to dry out again, and they leaked dirty water until they dried out. It would help if the instruction manual warned users of this issue. My previous Braun hand blenders did not have nooks and crannies that could fill with dirty water and old food. I will be very careful to only wipe the attachments clean in future.
