to SEE how it is toasting. Nothing has ever got stuck in it. The crumb tray is simple to empty, it is easy to change settings with the manual dial. We still use that toaster. It is absolutely the best toaster and our daughter was SO disappointed when she wanted one a few years ago and we could not get one! I knew when this became available I had to get her one! I have purchased many Magimix products and I absolutely LOVE every one of them. Nothing ever goes wrong with their products they are so well constructed.

When viewing the toaster, if you think your bread has been toasted enough then just select the button so it pops up immediately, and guess what, not one piece has jammed yet. setting may not work on Tuesday with the same loaf. I have toasted bagels, crumpets, frozen waffles, New York deli rye, sourdough and inch thick white bread. Excellent results have been achieved with all. If I have any quibble it is that toasting is slightly less even when two large slices are toasted at the same time, but that is minor indeed. I use it daily and love it. The ejection mechanism is positive and very effective. I haven't had any problems with jams and the like even when I haven't sliced the rye or sourdough perfectly evenly.
