I've used this for 2 years in the office. Excellent keyboard with low profile keys, super fast comfortable typing. The battery life is average as the backlight drains battery so i have to charge it once every 1-2 weeks. The Logitech Unified… Read more

Receiver (orange star) or bluetooth multi-point connection is excellent and supports keyboard mouse switching as i have multiple computers and laptops on my desk.

My biggest complaint is it needs Logi Options+ software to be installed. The software is unstable and requires manual termination / restarting / reinstall / update so the programmable buttons sometimes work again. That level of unreliability for office use isn't great.

I spilled a little water on the bottom left and half the key lights are a lower brightness a few months later :( I expected it to be a bit more reliable, lucky the lights aren't an important feature for me.

Follow-up  · There is now a rattling sound of a loose screw or piece inside near the power button, not sure what that is. Capacitive sensitivity is too high which turns on the keylights randomly if i am at my desk but not touching the keyboard. The plastic and metal finish is excellent. Zero wear is noticeable to the keycaps. No other software can be used with this keyboard.

I'm loving it! The keys are incredibly smooth and silent, making typing feel effortless and comfortable, even for long sessions. The build quality feels premium, and the backlighting adjusts perfectly to my workspace. It’s been a huge upgrade from my old keyboard quiet, responsive, and just overall satisfying to use.

A fantastic office keyboard – After trying a few keyboards for the home office, this is the one. The key strokes and feel are very satisfying and remind me of the MacBook Pro. The little finger indents are actually quite useful and my typing speed has increased. I was surprised at the build quality, despite appearing to be an all plastic construction, it is very sturdy and… Read more

heavy with minimal flex. The battery life is good with about 2 weeks use on a single charge with the backlights on. Overall very happy and would recommend.

You had me at 'Easy-Switch' – When WFH, I have a personal desktop and work laptop, and was finding it painful to swap mouse and keyboard. I had seen the MX range and the price always kept me away, but when the mouse stopped and the keyboard i was using K380 (no num pad) i found myself needing to upgrade. At first again I was skeptical, $399 AUD for a keyboard and MX 3S Mouse… Read more

however one single feature had me sold...East-Switch. IN saying that i was able to score it on a sale, for $319.

Pros -The best by far feature is you can set a hotkey, then move mouse to another monitor that is connected to another PC. Eg, have the USB adapter connected to my desktop, Logitech software on both this and my work laptop, press CLTR and the move mouse to far right, this auto switches to my work laptop and connects the mouse and keyboard via Bluetooth to the laptop. -The keyboard is a dream to type on, has great backlighting, and is rechargeable. As to the mouse -Both seem to last weeks without charge, but charge fast when needed -Great well designed software makes it easy to configure all the features of both devices, check for updates etc -1/2/3 manual keys make it easy to change to what you want, say connect to iPhone to use keyboard. -Mouse is great feel and can be finely tuned to suit your scroll needs. -The colour scheme on both devices look great -Can connect with dongle or any native Bluetooth

Cons -As much as the best feature is great, it can also be 'temperamental'. About 10% of the time, you may do this and only 1 device changes over. Sometimes this may be 'user' or other times I feel "well why did the mouse change and not keyboard. Quick fix, press the 1/2/3 buttons on each device to change manually. -Price - this is a top of the range kit, but still for $400 in AUD, If i was not doing to save space, make WFH easier between 2 PCs, I am not sure I would be considering both.

Best keyboard ever – I’ve struggled with Mac keyboards for years, replacing them as the keys wear out. I ventured out to get a different style and found the Logitech mx keys keyboard to be an outstanding performer. Bluetooth connectivity took zero effort to sync with my device and I haven’t looked back. A great comfortable keyboard with exceptional battery… Read more

performance, this keyboard has all the Mac shortcuts you need. Move away from the Mac keyboard and try this, you won’t be disappointed.

Great quality, Easy to Use Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo – I've owned 2 of these combos for the last 2 years at work and home and they have come a long way. They used to disconnect regularly but now they are very reliable, feel good on your fingers and I've not noticed any problems with typing lag, disconnections or anything else that stops my productivity. I love how I can configure each keyboard and… Read more

The best wireless keyboard I've owned! – Amazing wireless or Bluetooth keyboard with backlit function. Great shortcut keys like calc and screenshots, quick lock, and the option of pairing 3 devices to it and easily selecting by pressing 1, 2, or 3. In regards to battery life, it has been 3 weeks using it 5 days a week for 7.5 hrs a day and it's still showing me 100% battery life. (backlit used on for 1 hrs a day) Show details

Great keyboard! – I got the MX keys, mouse and a wrist pad as a pack and I love all the products. The keys are super soft, aren't too loud, they connect automatically through bluetooth and charge easily through a cable. The keyboard lights up when in use or when it detects that the room is dark. The mouse is nice and large and super comfortable. I only have a small… Read more

Amazing Keyboard - delight to type on – This rechargeable backlit keyboard was attractive precisely because it was both rechargeable and backlit. Am on my keyboard all day and sick of replacing batteries. It also had a number keyboard which is a huge bonus. What I wasn't expecting was just how beautiful it is to type on. Working from home now since COVID, spending a lot more time on my… Read more

keyboard and this has truly been a life saver. The angle is a little lower than I generally like, but bought the matching wrist rest, which is absolutely lovely. Supports my wrists well and feels beautiful. Even after months of use, still feels brand new.

It was extremely easy to set up, using either the logitech usb dongle thingy, or bluetooth, which is great if you don't want to permanently lose one of your usb ports. The connection has been perfect without any issues or losses.

There are some bonus features too which are very nice, which includes allowing to switch between machines (up to 3) at the simple press of a button, which comes in handy when using more than one machine at a time.

There is also the beta on offer called Flow, which allows control of more than one machine at a time. It isn't as configurable as similar options, but does show some promise.

The tactile feel of pressing keys is very satisfying and they have little round 'dips' in the keys which make the typing experience even better. I can go for at least a week (possibly more) without having to charge, and it is usb c which is great as I can share the charging cords so desk isn't cluttered up with propriety weird charging options. Error rate is lower than previous keyboard too, which is nice.

Been through many types of keyboards over the years, including many Logitech's, and this is by far the best I have ever used. it has a nice solid feel and nothing feels or looks cheap. It is a little pricey, but well worth the extra dollars, especially if you are on your keyboard for long periods.

Better than my mechanical keyboard in a number of aspects – This review is broken up into a number of different sections that will give the user (you) to use your preferred browser's "Find on page" function to skip to the area of interest [The Summary] [The Product] [The Package] [The Pros(+) vs Cons(-)] [The Final Thoughts] [The Summary] Following work directions to working from home (WFH), I did most… Read more

of my office work using a gaming mechanical keyboard that was backlit paired with a Logitech MX Master mouse, both of which were purchased over 5 years ago... or so as memory serves.

With my significant other who also WFH, the noise generated from my mechanical keyboard was driving my significant other insane. The sound of every key pressed was squeaky and accompanied with my extremely fast touch-typing speed; that sound exponentially became worse to the sensitive ears.

Moreover, my Logitech MX Master required the use of a USB-A charging cable, this gave an opportunity for me to upgrade both the Logitech MX Keys and the Logitech Master 3. Although the purchase of both items were obtained separately. The MX Keys from JB HIFI and the Master 3 from eBay.

[The Product] As this review is more so about the MX Keys, I will leave the Master 3 separate.

The MX Keys was purchased because after reviewing some YouTube videos for additional inspiration and also being a long-time Logitech fanboy, I made a decision to purchase from JB HIFI.

This keyboard serves my current needs for office work only and the typing experience is similarly experienced to that of a Laptop, quiet and efficient.

The keyboard has a lot of programmable functions when connected to the installed Logitech application, however I did not bother with all of that as I honestly have not spent enough time playing around with the settings as of writing this review.

Some of the positive features I found with the keyboard is a built-in sensor when your fingers are about to touch the keyboard, the keyboard backlit lights up. I have tested my hand position around the keyboard and it does not activate other than moving your fingers close to the keyboard on top.

Another feature is the charging ability using a USB-C port and cable. This is a bonus as with my current WFH setup, has a cable directly from my monitor that has a built-in fast charger.

What's more, using the MX Keys can be done even when the charging takes place.

As with all Logitech wireless products, it has the USB receiver which is Logitech's propriety "Unifying receiver", if you have other connected Logitech wireless products? You only need one (1) unifying receiver as it can connect up to 6 devices occupying one USB port which I use USB 3.0+ as opposed to others

[The Package] I personally did not think of anything special to the packaging other than the fact that it does try to give you enough informative information before making a purchase or perhaps just curious. I would definitely try to visit Logitech's website or looking on YouTube to obtain better constructive advice that may cater to your user requirements.

Apparently there are several variation to the MX Keys you can get; I went with a Windows and Apple configuration, just so my significant other can use the keyboard for her future needs.

[The Pros(+) vs Cons(-)] + USB-C charging port with a built-in green LED charging and low-battery indicator + backlit keys with built-in sensor + Logitech application - lots of customisation + can connect to multiple systems with the unifying receiver or even with blue-tooth only. + good battery life + built quality + unifying receiver and various connectivity options

- not your standard keyboard that you have used before, it is a learning curve that you need to take into account - Logitech application for key customisation is a learning curve and will take time to master to get the right effect you're looking for with your MX Keys purchase - no palm rest, some purchase bundles of this product come with a palm rest which is where this product is missing from your standard purchase from JB HIFI.

[The Final Thoughts] Paired with my Master 3 that complements the dynamic use of its intended use, it is a very good combination. Even with the keyboard on its own, I think it is a significant high-quality product over mechanical keyboards especially in my case. If you're a extremely fast touch-type expert, you'll find endless joy using this keyboard, as you will barely hear the key strokes as you're typing along.

I would recommend other venues other than JB HIFI if you can, perhaps just to get something on sale or sourced elsewhere. For the price I paid, it is relative at $199, the price could be better one would hope.

Smooth & comfortable typing – I've used various keyboards for Windows & Macs computers, and this is by-far one of the most comfortable. The spacing of the keys is nice with a nice depth and feel. The back-lighting is convenient, but nothing beats being able to re-charge the keyboard without having to buy new batteries!! Being able to customise the F keys and additional ones is also fantastic. I do however wish it had the menu key on the lower right hand side.  Show details

Fantastic keyboard – Well, I wore out yet another K800 in my home office, and so this time around I decided to spend a little extra for the new MX Keys version. All I can say is WOW. This new version is a quantum leap from older versions. Auto-sensing and adjustable back-light, better battery life, silent keys, and a nice small desk footprint even with the number pad.… Read more

And it really is quite attractive in its carbon and black scheme. Its appearance is, of course, an exact match to my MX mouse. It has a solid, hefty feel to it which I like. Another feature I like is that is DOES NOT have folding feet. On other keyboards, the folding feet tend to fold up by accident, or even break. But this one is a constant angle and all good and solid as a rock. It uses the Logitech unified dongles so full compatibility there too. I believe I can also use this keyboard with a Tablet via BT but I have not tried that yet. Not a gaming keyboard by any means, but just perfect for home office. Bought mine as "new open box" on eBay for a great deal. A worthy investment for anyone who works a desk job from home. Great job Logitech.

Fantastic – I got this wireless keyboard with the MX 3 mouse. After putting up with an Apple Magic mouse and keyboard from work for over a year, I decided to purchase the Logitech and what a huge difference it's made. Solid, comfortable, with a great angle and better ergonomics. The keys are really satisfying to type on, and quiet. I commute with this… Read more

keyboard in my bag 3~4 days a week, usually cycling - it's a little on the heavy side and as a full keyboard only just fits in my bag, but it's not a big problem. The ability to switch between connected devices is really brilliant, and this also works pretty well with the Mouse. Battery life seems to be fine, and it's easy to charge. It was a bit tough for me justifying the price of the MX series, but after using it for a few months now, I'm really happy with it!

Best keyboard ever! – This is the best keyboard I’ve had & used. The keys are easy to type on & super responsive, and no need to bang on the keys. Compared to my other 2 keyboards, this keyboard feels solid when typing. And switching between computes is amaaaazzzingly simple - there’s no need to have the 2 keyboards taking up valuable desk space. A bit pricey at $199 -… Read more

Chiclet perfection! – Sturdy, heavy, great type feel, incredible workflow enhancements built in. If you're looking for a chiclet keyboard for professional use look no further. Wireless perfection – Logitech MX Keys is an illuminated wireless keyboard with a great satin/Matt finish that feels great on fingertips. It illuminates as soon as you fingers come close to it which is perfect if you like to work in low light. You can adjust so many things. I turn my illumination down low so I rarely charge it (which is pretty simple). The function… Read more

keys can be set to Mac or windows features and it is one of the entry level keyboards if you wish to use Logitech Flow, enabling you to use one keyboard for multiple computers. You’ll need a flow mouse, I bought the Logitech ms anywhere mouse for $75 which does the trick. It’s really worth getting this if you work on 2 computers but don’t have a network drive as you can copy and paste from one pc to another, simply from screen to screen. Suits multimedia people as well as CAD people that require standard function keys. Well worth the $200 I found it a bit fiddle to set up but got it all working in the end. Highly recommended.
