Shocking customer service and support! – I own a 2005 Range Rover Autobiography diesel, done 119000kms. At Easter my family and I drove 500km out to Roma, without any notice the car shut down and wouldn't start, it had over heated without warning. I rang Range Rover Australia for help and they said because we didn't get it serviced by them they can't help in anyway. So my family and I were left on the side of the road with no help. I then after hours of phone calls and a lot of stress for my family organised the car to be transported to Range Rover Southside of Brisbane thinking they would help me and know what they were doing. Upon the car arriving with them I told them what had happened and what I felt were the issues, 5 weeks later and $11000, they have told me I can pick up the car. I picked the car up and they told me I had to sign a disclaimer saying they would not warrant any work done by them, seriously!!!! The main fault was the seal on the oil cooler had failed dumping all the radiator fluid instantly, causing the car to overheat with no warning signs at all. This also sent the battery dead, which meant there was NO way to open the rear tailgate to replace the battery, They spent 10 hours trying to work out how to open my tailgate, seriously??? I spoke to Range Rover Australia for some help on the cost, and they said a flat out NO, good luck. What sort of service is this, this is meant to be a prestige brand, there quick to take your money but offer NO SERVICE. Shame on you Range Rover. I have lost total faith in this brand and sadly will sell my car.

Fantastic Car! – Fantastic car love it can go anywhere bush bashing or to the snow its comfortable and has the power when you need it. The wife commutes the kids to school and sports in it without an issue, as it can take a street curb with ease. If they could reduce the price it would be a no brainier.

Range Rover P38 1995 - 2002 – Range Rover P38 are an interesting second hand purchase. They are the sort vehicle you buy if you're relatively good in doing your own maintenance. If however you're at the mercy of a mechanic, then do not buy one, as it will make you broke!! They are excellent off Road as they are on thanks to the smoothness of the air suspension, which can be problematic if not maintained correctly. The engine choices ( in Australia) were the petrol 4.0 litre & 4.6 litre V8. Both engines are relatively smooth for such an old dinosaur motor, but thirsty at the same time if heavy on the right foot. If test driving, check all electrical features are functioning the way it should, ensure engine does not overheat, and pay particular attention to any possible leaks in the air suspension. Qualify yourself in owning and affording this vehicle.

Excellent – Serious go anywhere vehicle but you have to be very rich to be able to afford to take this one bush bashing. If they could knock 45 grand from the price they would sell sqillions of this beauty.

A rangy is extremely expensive. Costs around $100000 in canada for which we had to buy an LR4 V8 HSE LUX.
