Communication was great. We bought 2x Osprey Kayaks and they have been amazing. Great quality, lots of storage, very stable even when waves hit the side. Overall very happy Show reply

i rate this the most unaustralian business of 2026, pedal systems do not work as advertised. False advertised sale, extremly bad coustomer service, been saving for a kayak and just before australia day i started looking, i came across kayaks 2 fish and read what they had to say and the reviews left, they had a sale running that offered 28% off,… Read more
and a 3 day countdown, which forced me into a impulse buy as i didnt want to miss the special, (might as well support an aussy businness i thought)....to find out they just do it over and over and over, do not believe their fake sales, i bought a 10.5 kayak marked down from 2500 to 1800, so apparently saved 700, then was quoted 300 for postage from kayaks to fish only to be called the next day and be told it would be an aditional 100, she was the rudest indian i have ever spoken to. a week later i emailed the businedd to ask where my kayak was as i had no email telling me it left the warehouse like they said they would, a [Name Removed] told me it would be delivered the next day, around comes the next day and nothing, so i emailed [Name Removed] again and he sent the exact same reply, and luckly it turned up the next day, in the back of a old kurtian truck, no tie downs, nothing..and delivered by indian guy who was rude as can be. he couldn't lift one end of the kayak off the rear ramp so he just dragged his end off, couldn't even be bothered to lower the ramp, if he knew how, backing into trees everywhere, then pulled out onto a roundabout going the wrong way.. i proceeded to assemble the kayak and check everything was delivered, to notice a lot of issues, every screw was loose and half stripped, the rail for rod holders etc are not flush with kayak, creating very weak connection points for anything added, the rudder cables are made from the thinnest rope ive ever seen, i thought it was tooth floss at first, the rod holder caps do not close and stay closed, there was a cut in the bottom from a grinder from durin the manafacture cleaning old plastic off kayak, almost completly through hull, major issues where the front hatch was so warped that even locked you could see inside the hatch, and the pedal drive system does not work as described, the kayak is no good in sallow waters as the fins onle get half the motion as they hit the hull where the pedal drive is inserted, design flaw, false advertising,, i emailed them to let them know about these two issues and they wanted pictures, so i sent them, then they told me to fix the front hatch to put it out in the sun, and the pedal drive is not working as it should, even know their website clearly states in terms and conditions that any changes to kayaks and parts are minor and will not affect the performance or use of the product as stated, which is a lie, so i said i dont want it as it is not something they describe and is no good in shallow water being the exact reason i got a kayak that was meant to have the fins flat against the hull like they say,, then i was told i will be charged 15% restocking fee for change of mind of purchase, plus postage on me, then i got a email from the head marketing offering me a job to open another warehouse in my area, saying i can easily add 150 on each kayak, all i need is a warehouse, so that sais it all, they do not care about quality, they do not care who sells their stuff, thats not australian do not support this company, just cheap chinese rubbish kayaks and extreme bad services, im out of pocket $1000 for a product that was falsly advertised, do not support this company, picture showing it hiting the hull, stopping motion, picture showing it its not touching the bottom of kayak at full pedal picture 3 shows the pedal drive in full motion, past 180 pic 4 shows the massive warp in the lid they told me to fix with the sun,
Kayak 2 Fish have excellent products. I have purchased 5 kayaks in total. Most recently the next gen 11.5. This kayak is an outstanding quality. The pedal system is solid and is a replica of the Hobie system so all parts are interchangeable. The kayak it self is stable, easy to load on my car and launch by myself. I’m a larger person 6’6 and… Read more · 1
110kg. It’s more stable than my old hobie pro angler12. Also has great hull access hatches for storage or battery placement. No water coming into the hull when out for 6 hours at a time. I highly recommend any person looking at herring into kayak fishing have a look at these kayaks. With a large range and various sizes it’s a one stop shop for all the family. Large range of accessories online also with great delivery service. The local warehouse has a great service with fantastic knowledge of all the products and a great customer focus. All in all I will be coming back for accessories and future kayaks as I upgrade.

I bought an orca triton double kayak and I am so stoked with it, it says you can fit 3 seats on it but honestly you have no leg room them so max 2 seats. I am a large male 115kgs and with myself my wife and my daughter sitting on it, it was perfect and easily held us. This is an awesome fishing kayak for a single person or 2 people. The only bad… Read more · 1
thing about this kayak is the rudder steering it sits on the side of the kayak and is hand operated so very difficult to paddle and turn and I found the current would push the rudder around and you'd start steering randomly so I prefer to lift the rudder and use the paddles for main steering. I give this kayak a 4 out of 5 I would have had it a 5 out of 5 if the steering setup was better.
I recently purchased a nextgen 9 in the desert colour from kayaks to fish Sydney, this is my third kayaks to fish kayak and they are great value for money, the comfort seat is a must and they are super stable and great to fish out of, I had a slight issue with the scupper plugs being very hard to push in but this was quickly addressed by the company, a simple fix, overall great service, price and product. I messaged the website as the pop up asked me to do, ordered a xlite10 ($2100), through a man named Michael, went to pick it up in Wetherille Park, the guys there didn't know anything about it, ordered it again online in front of the guy there, he was polite and helpful. The second guy was extremely hostile towards me, as if I had put him out or… Read more
something, they couldn't find the kayak, I was there for over an hour, it was at the bottom of a container, I asked the hostile guy if he might have a tape measure around, he walked past me and actually physically spat at me, and just glared at me. Worst service I have ever had in my life. Do not do business with these incompetent fools. Do not give them Any money. No stars.

I purchased a NextGen11 pedal kayak from Kayaks2fish on 3/10/21. During assembly I noticed the clips that rotate to allow removal of the pedal pod would not retract far enough to remove pod so advised Kayaks2Fish who sent new clips. On my first outing the rudder stopped working, thankfully I had a paddle with me and was able to steer the kayak… Read more
ashore safely. I advised Kayaks2Fish who requested photos/videos of the issue and eventually sent new rudder cords. During the fitting of these I found the rudder tee bar holes where the cord ties to had not been de-burred following drilling and had cut one cord and partially severed the other, I de- burred and fitted new cords. I advised Kayaks2Fish.
Following that same maiden voyage I could hear water sloshing about in the kayak. Was initially concerned the hull was leaking but tracked it down to the plastic pod that the pedals sit being full of water, removed it and found blow holes in the moulding. Contacted Kayaks2Fish who once again requested photos and videos. They did send a replacement pod but this also leaked on the next outing! Once again I advised Kayaks2Fish and guess what - more videos and photographs requested. After many emails Kayaks2Fish requested I return both pods (they did provide returns labels) but I didn’t want to be without any pods as I had trips planned. Told Kayaks2Fish I’d fix the leaks myself as this looked like an inherent quality issue (like the rudder tee bar burrs and the pod clips that didn’t work). Fixed the leaks with sealant.
The final insult occurred when I ordered a kayak cover in July 24 because I knew I had to give up garage space and move the kayak outdoors. I eventually moved the kayak outdoors in April 25 and unwrapped the packing of the cover to find it too short for my kayak. Rechecked my order and invoice and all were correct for the NextGen 11. Contacted Kayaks2Fish who once again, guess what… requested videos and pictures! They admitted the warehouse had probably sent the wrong cover but then asked me to explain why I’d taken so long to open the package and that their obligation to replace it had expired. Said they’d get back to me but didn’t get in touch again despite me trying. I did warn them on two occasions that I would post negative reviews hoping that might prompt some customer service but was not the case. Could’ve bought a cover a lot cheaper elsewhere but wanted to be sure it fitted!!
My advice is do not buy from this company who supply an inferior product and do not look after their customers. They deliberately protract any warranty issues in the hope the customer goes away. During all my communications regarding the above issues I received minimal apologies. to provide photos and videos to anyone who’s interested as I’ve got many thanks to Kayak2Fish!
I should have bought that secondhand Hobie!

I recently purchased the Osprey Kayak from Kayaks2Fish, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment it arrived, I knew I’d made the right choice. stability and maneuverability. As someone who enjoys both casual paddling and occasional fishing trips, I found it to be the ideal hybrid. It tracks beautifully through the water, feels incredibly stable (even when casting lines or shifting around), and offers a smooth, responsive ride that makes long outings a real pleasure.
The seating is comfortable and supportive, even on extended adventures. There's plenty of storage too—whether you're bringing gear, snacks, or a small cooler, everything has a secure place. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the included paddle, rod holders, and easy-carry handles, which make transport and setup hassle-free.
Kayaks2Fish were fantastic to deal with as well—quick delivery, great communication, and helpful staff who clearly know their products.
If you're looking for a high-quality sit-on-top kayak that’s versatile, stable, and packed with features, the Osprey is a top-tier choice. Highly recommend it to beginners and experienced paddlers alike.
AVOID NEXTGEN11.5 AT ALL COST (MUST READ) – Right I am beyond disappointed with this company. I brought a next gen 11.5 pedal kayak I got it on 18Feb23 and I have already gone through 2 kayaks, that is a kayak a year. have had issue after issue with them. My first kayak leaked heavily from the very start of me owning it. The rudder system was NOT SEALED PROPERLY AT ALL!!! The amount of… Read more
water I would take on was crazy literal litres of water. When I notified the warranty compartment they were straight up useless even when shown the evidence and videos of me tipping out litres of water after only a couple hour fish. I was told there was no leak and that I was full of it. I went down to the wearhouse in Melbourne since I was getting absolutely no where with with higher ups in the company, the guys at the wearhouse were the only useful people I spoke to the entire time. I eventually got a replacement kayak after 2 months of going in circles. The replacement kayak was good at first and I didn't have any issues to begin with only a few months in and my rails started falling off. The screws used aren't realistically suitable for the rails and wear them out relatively quickly. a few more months go by and steering ropes for the rudder snap while fishing and I'm left struggling in the wind trying to get back to shore to fix the issue. The ropes have snapped 3 times on me even with me replacing the rope it still happens I eventually went to a thicker rope and that fixes the issue. The biggest issue I've got now is that the body is starting crack all over and is just about unusable. I am a tournament angler finishing 2nd in my state last season for yakhunters. This season has basically already screeched to a halt and it has only just started since I found those cracks MID COMPETITION as a TOURNAMENT ANGLER the longevity is straight up garbage and straight up unacceptable. I have paid good money for this kayak trying to support an Australian business and it is disappointing. I should be getting much longer than a year out of a kayak. I have had many kayaks before but none as terrible longevity wise as this, which is extremely disappointing because the kayak it's self was actually nice to use apart from the issues stated above. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THESE KAYAKS if you are a serious fisherman like myself stay away from these, they are nothing but headaches. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

Kayak package – Bought my first kayak, from Kayaks2fish. The guy in the shop front was very helpful. Made up a package for me. Got a thicker seat, a life vest, and a trolley. Alan’s Kayak – Love my nextgen10. Taken it out twice on Lake Macquarie for a paddle and a fish. Very stable and glides through the water with ease. Found it handles the chop really well. The delivery mob they go through was also excellent, keeping me updated on its arrival. Good choice of courier service.
After I received my items including the kayak which was wrapped in a mountain of bubble wrap and a blanket for safe transportation I had a few more questions on setup.
They even took the time to respond even though I had received the item.
Couldn't recommend enough if you're in the market for a kayak or accessories.

Cheap product, everything rusts or breaks quickly. Poor customer service – Poor customer service. Poor quality materials. Unrealistically short warranty period. Trolleys are barely rated to carry the kayaks they’re sold for. The first “heavy duty” trolley broke within a month. They sent a different style which broke a year later. Good kayak. Really crappy customer service – Was disappointed to arrive at the warehouse in Darra to be told the was a 'do not release' tag on my kayak. Nextgen9 is by far the easiest kayak to use – I purchased and collected the Nextgen9 from the Brisbane office. This is my 3rd kayak over a period of 20 years. It’s easy to lift on/off the 4wd, an area where I struggled with my previous 33kg kayak. I paddled out into the Marchydore River this morning and was back cleaning my catch 3 hours later, with a good feed of bream. Will be doing that again very shortly. Show details · 1
