Long story short.. my girl has had digestive issues since she was born (she is now 6) I was told to consider her quality of life and told to make a horrible choice, but we persevered in search of grain free diets and after years on Hill's Prescription Diet D/D (it was discontinued last year) I found this amazing bag! She's tried everything and had… Read more
a horrible start to life, after the discontinuation of Hill's I feared the worst, but she has happily eaten this food every day, twice a day with 0 problems! (No wet food) She also has an allergy to chicken and 0 teeth, so the size of kibble is perfect! All my other cats love it and some of them are fussy AF! Please don't ever discontinue!! :'(
Ivory Coat dry food is very good quality for my Cat – I've been feeding my cat Ivory Coat dry food since he was a kitten. He has been very healthy so far given he has a sensitive digestive system. I highly recommend it. Show details

The cats love it! – Our foster cats loved it. The kibble is a great size, with wholesome ingredients and contains Aussie meat which is fabulous. Highly recommend. Show details
Highly recommended! Very balanced nutrition! – My both Bengal cats just loved it! They are shiny, happy and having a perfect weight! Show details
Best cat biscuits – Love the ivory coat dry cat biscuits range, bought a packet for my fussy cat that suffered with fur balls and weight loss. Mr Louis (cat) has put on healthy weight and coat is shiny. I bought two different flavours the chicken and the seafood so he can have different flavours each week and it doesn’t upset his stomach. Good pricing and packaging that you can re seal every time. Show details
very happy – the bite size pieces were perfect for my doggys. The size makes it easy to mix with other wet food and mince etc Show details
Our dogs favourite – Another great product from Ivory Coat. I have to admit we have been lucky enough to try all the dry and wet dog food from this brand and we are now loyal customers. They are all excellent. This dry food in particular our dog loves (he has a hankering for seafood!) and he loves the ocean fish and salmon blend. We also add fresh sardines to this… Read more
after hydrating it for some extra omega-3s and it gets demolished quick smart! Its full of natural ingredients without the fillers of other brands. Highly recommend. I received this product from Ivory Coat to review and will continue to use this moving forward
Made my cat vomit – Made my cat vomit for the first time ever in her life. So I searched it up and found it has made so many other cats vomit! Stay away. Show details
Best cat food on the market – Wouldn’t use any other products for our cats. They’re so happy and healthy, the ingredients are great quality and Australian made! Show details · 1

Happy we made the switch! – Cats are little gobblers and they absolutely gobble this down. Rarely have health issues and they're looking great. Super happy we switched to Ivory coat. Show details · 1
Great for mature cats with sensitive stomachs – I wish we had found this product sooner, we have two adult cats who have always had stomach issues and since making a switch all that seems to have gone away. We have also started feeding our dog grain free food from the same brand and seen a big difference. Show reply

Katie loves ivory coat – Katie loves this food but for her weight we would love a lower fat food Show details · 1
Foster kitties love it – I switched to Ivory Coat because it's grain free. Cats are carnivores and would only get their veggies and grains from the stomach of prey they eat, so I don't understand why I have to pay a premium price on other ’science’ brands where the first five ingredients are mostly grains. Plus the grains made my kittens' poop stinky and would clear the… Read more
room, whereas Ivory Coat has definitely helped in the litter box odour department. The kibble size is small enough for little kitten mouths and teeth, encourages chewing and the kittens seem to love the taste. The tabby that I foster used to have a rough coat and is now soft and silky.
Caution!! – I had my 2 cats on this for 4 weeks, one cat lost 2.3kgs, lost its appetite, and vomited leading to 2 visits to the Vet. The other cat continuously vomited after each meal. Since then, have taken them off this product and feeding them a stable diet of boiled chicken and another Vet approved brand of cat food. Show details

AVOID! Ended in a trip to the vet – Vomiting and diarrhoea started soon after eating. Have had my cat for 4 years hasn't had this before. Blood in stool and trip to vet. Don't buy under any circumstances. Show details

Dreadful Rubbish – The ingredients show that this cat food is not suitable as a nutritious food. The wet cat food causes diarrhoea and leaves cats with no energy. The ingredients are of poor quality and there are many reviews online stating that these products have caused illness in cats and dogs. We will NEVER buy Ivory Coat again. Show details

Too much carbs for cats – Cats can't digest carbs = sugars. They have kidney problems because of this. No thank you! The wet food contains sunflower oil-it is not necessary to add to their wet food. Btw my cat started to have dandruff and that is not normal.

Never had a problem with this brand over the three years of buying it – I have not had a problem with the Kangaroo/Chicken Adult Dry Cat food over three years of use. I changed to this brand after having major problems with another brand which suddenly made my late 10 year old cat's health decline & led to her death. Other cats fed this other brand also became ill. Due to the positive reviews of this product, I began… Read more · 1
using it in 2018 with my latest cat and so far so good. The problems may possibly be connected with the ingrediants and their source as their has been issues with raw food such as with kangaroo etc. Their was in the press some time ago kangaroo containing plant matter which is toxic to pets, which were consumed by the kangaroo used in the product.
Stay away from ivory coat – I had been feeding my cat this product Ivory Coat ( salmon variety) years ago and never had any problems but last year my cat started getting diarrhoea without any reason, he needed to be hospitalised with a drip to stabilise him. The problem didn’t get any better and he was given tablets which appeared to help, meanwhile I was still feeding him… Read more
Ivory Coat, as the situation continued he then started vomiting and losing weight rapidly the tablets no longer worked, I began to get confused so the the vets thought he had IBD( Inflammation of bowel) so he was given steroid injections which worked for awhile. During the process of elimination I tried to change his diet but nothing seemed to work, after his last injection which should last for 3 months he was sick again within 1 week, that’s when I thought it has to be something he’s eating so I chucked the Ivory Coat in the bin bought some Applaws and fed him boiled chicken, within that week he stopped vomiting and no more diarrhoea, that was close to 12 months ago and he’s been fine and put on a lot of weight. I can’t explain why the first time I withheld Ivory Coat he still was sick but the second time he improved, but he hasn’t needed any more tablets or injections and all I’ve done is remove this dry food from his diet. I had taken my dog off this food as well, as soon as she ate it I noticed a change in her temperament and had loose stools. My daughter no longer feeds her cats this product either, it appears the best place is in the bin for Ivory Coat. There’s a pet food review site that also no longer recommends it, so many negative reviews cannot be wrong. I hope these reviews reach anyone feeding their animals this, you think your doing the best thing for your pets but there is something seriously wrong with Ivory Coat

Best Cat Food! – I changed my cats from a cheaper food to this as my vet suggested it and they kept it in stock. I have 6 cats who absolutely devoured it and I noticed within 4 weeks their coats were thicker and really gleamed. That was 4 years ago and now my cats are getting older, 15 - 19 years old, which means they'd be more sensitive to foods but they are… Read more
still going strong. This food has NEVER made any of my 6 cats vomit. If this happens I suggest and different combination as there are a few in the range. Cats eat more of the cheaper foods because it is full of fillers. One of cats had a weight problem and within 6 weeks he was almost back to normal weight. With more nutrition they need less as they are satisfied more so same cost. I write this voluntarily and not for the purpose of rewards.

Made my cat throw up – Bought a 6kg Bag of Ivory Coat Chicken & Kangaroo Grain Free from Petbarn in late June and noticed my cat started throwing up at least 3-4 times a week. We also noticed that she lost her appetite and avoided eating her Ivory Coat kibbles so there's obviously something wrong with the food. Show details

It made my cats sick – Have bought ivory coat every now and then the past 3 years. My cats like the change, but ivory coat were always excellent. However these past months it made my cats sick and vomit a lot more usual. I bought two 6 kg bags this year already. Was about to buy another but after having a look online, it appears other cats experienced the same. I would… Read more

Excellent good quality grain free cat food – I ordered a 3 kg bag of Ivory Coat grain free cat food online for my cats to try after they both became very fussy & wouldn’t eat their usual food. Well they LOVE this food and gobble it up :) Looking at the ingredient list it’s all really good food, it’s Australian made & my cats are doing great on it. great as they had stopped eating their normal foods for awhile and their coats look glossy and smooth now.
