Echo DHC-200

Lightweight and cuts well – I bought this hedge trimmer to replace my heavy petrol hedge trimmer (given I'm now using it every few weeks on a short hedge). commercial warranty on it, and the battery life is decent (seems to run for a few hours before needing to be charged).

So far I've only been using it briefly every few weeks since I got it in June 2023, so I'll update this review if anything happens in the future.

I had a rival product in 240v but this is heaps better – I had enough electrical leakage in the 240v hedge trimmer to kill off some branches in the box hedge, I looked to options and bought the Echo DHC-200. and durable blades that seem to never need sharpening (over a year a constant use and never required a sharpen), battery time that seems to last much longer than a tank from all petrol powered units that I have used, pollution free and then the obvious, pretty much silent. Another fine Echo product that I absolutely love!
