Ordered several items. After 6 days, Order still marked as "processing". After a phone call I find out Chemist Direct waiting for one of my items to get back in stock before sending. No notification to me beforehand. Cancelled my order. Up your game Chemist Direct.

thought I should check in case something had gone wrong. I was in a good mood, not complaining, just asking a simple question about my order.

The Customer Service Officer, however, was openly irritated from the start. First, she told me to look at my email I would have received which stated would tell me the delivery date, it did not as i didn't receive this. But the Order on their web site did say completed on 25 Feb 2026 at the top. but apparently i have to read their minds as this is just that they sent it not that i received it.

I tried to keep things light and friendly, but that didn’t help. Instead, she spoke to me in a condescending, dismissive way — telling me to go find my tracking number, contact the courier myself, questioning why I was even worried, and making irrelevant comments like “you didn’t order pills” and “heat won’t affect it.” It felt like she was trying to make me feel foolish for sharing my concerns.

She also insisted the website clearly states that delivery to WA takes over 14 days. That is simply not true. The only reference to 14+ days is for international orders. The courier information is buried across multiple tabs, with no clear contact details or direct link to track the parcel. It’s not user‑friendly, and it’s unreasonable to expect customers to navigate a maze to find basic information.

The way she spoke to me implied I was somehow blind, deaf, or incapable — without saying the words outright — and it was completely unnecessary. For what purpose?

I stayed polite and simply said that if I don’t meet her standard of customer who can magically know how their website works, I wouldn’t cause her any further distress. I told her I’d make it easy and just won’t buy from them again. Then I ended the call.

Great pricing on OTC medications, appropriate prescription pricing, outstanding health and beauty savings as well as baby products, wound care, the list goes on. Items arrive in perfect condition, the website is easy to navigate and orders are picked super quick.

Not only are the dispatch times great, my items usually arrive within two business days and that is interstate. Shipping is free if your cart totals $125 or more and if I recall correctly smaller orders are flat rate shipping of $10-$12.

Pharmacists and customer service are available to chat to should your order require consultation and I must give a huge shout out to the Customer Service superstars who help me out with my tax invoices (Hi Alyssa!) - all who have assisted me have done so expediently and incredibly politely. didn't. I contacted them on the 5th January and the consultant said it was processed on the 30th (6 days after they said they would process it straight away) and handed over to the couriers. I contacted them again on the 6th January as it had not arrived, and they said it was on the truck in Canberra for delivery that day. Nothing came. I rang again on the 7th and same response. Again on the 8th and then again on the 9th. On the 10th January, I was told they don't know want courier company they sent it with it as it is randomly generated on their end with 4 different possible couriers. If this true how did they know it was on the truck being delivered????. It is medical items from a Chemist and waiting 3-4 weeks is really acceptable under any conditions. I have since had to go to another chemist and buy similar items. They could not provide me with any tacking details or estimated time of delivery. A dispute was lodged with Paypal and guess what they denied any wrong doing. DO NOT USE THEM.

quickly, all mine have been next day, which is appreciated when the actual delivery can take quite a few days. Some cons worth noting: They don't have any wishlisting function on the website which is really backward, so I often have to keep a seperate list of items I want but don't need. Most of the time I forget about the seperate list so I'm usually spending a lot less at this store than I would if they had wishlisting. I also often have problems logging into their website on Chrome, which can be really annoying, but I just use a different browser if I'm on a desktop. On a mobile device I don't bother, I'll just shop elsewhere if I can't login. I've never had any issues with their service so I can't comment on their customer service or rectifying any problems. I also haven't used this site for prescriptions as I don't wish to send them my original paper scripts. So for regular off-the-shelf items, I will keep shopping here but there is room for improvement in my opinion.

Ordered a product online , no receipt came through , phoned a few days later to check it had been processed and dispatched to be told its not in stock and hasn't been for a week . Suggested that maybe in future they put out of stock on products that are not available to save customers being stuffed around . 10 days later still hasn't arrived and no communication as to when it will be dispatched. I wasn't charged for the item but I think that items oos should show at the time of placing the order. The lady also said that she never shops online if she needs something in time. This company uses COURIERS PLEASE as their preferred Courier. If you are not going to be home to collect your delivery then you won't receive it. Getting a refund is like having a molar removed without anaesthesia. Chemist is an A+. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ company. I only have a problem with their choice of Courier. One look at the online reviews for COURIERS PLEASE will verify my review of them.

Don't use if you have time constraints – Unable to review on their page as the link doesn't work. They state orders dispatched 1-2 days, mine took 7days. Delivery 2-10 days, mine took 15 days. My order? 6 packs of tepe interdental brushes. And I had to pay for freight.
