expired. At the time my armrest was worn and tattered, i didn't think i could get that on warranty as it was just natrual wear and tear. But after giving some details and a video of my problem i got a whole new arm and new arm rest cover within 2 weeks. Very pleased with Secretlabs.

Christmas delivery and holidays were great. Assembly was simple and straight forward. My wife loves the look of the Pheasant wood. Matches the rest of our furniture by sheer chance. Operation of the controls and memory functions are simple and work well. I confirmed the motors are strong enough to lift my body weight. At the maximum height, there is minimal sideways wobble and at the lower heights there is no sideways wobble. The power board and cable channel work nicely and conceal cabling. Assembly instructions were clear. Very happy with my transactions with UpDown Desk. P.S. Toby, I'm really going to enjoy my desk ;)

There is a reason reviews are not easy to come by with lazy Maison branded sit stand desks... Why would that be? well im here to let you know :) … Read more
Payment was accepted super fast and efficiently and delivery was super fast. but you can thank automatic banking and efficient modern delivery systems for that! Desk was super easy to assemble and the locking leg system seemed kind of cool and got me very excited.
unfortunately, the magic faded away immediately after assembly. the controller would stop and start, some times the up went down and the down went up. then i come home one day any my $5000 PC tower is sideways on the floor and the desk had one leg all the way up and one all the way down!! my $1800 monitor speaks slammed into my walls. big enough i had to get someone in to repair it. my actual monitor survived but you can tell they have been slammed together from the slide.
maybe it over loaded ? under 60kg on a 120kg rated desk? well the first piece of false advertising i found.
they sent a tech to my house, i missed days of income waiting to get it fix, and i had to stop my side hustle (guitar lessons, because i could no longer stand at my desk, its essential i stand) the tech swapped the controller out, told me i might have too much weight on it. i replied mate its 120kg desk? and showed him the scales i used to weigh everything. and as soon as he knew i knew the exact weight he changed his tune and started saying the legs were too far apart. this is the second line of false advertising. the desk is listed with a min and max width, i had the leg 100mm under the max. any way he made the desk work, left and what do you know? my stuff got slammed on the floor again.
To top it off the customer service was hand balling me around, they have this game where they know their product is average so they make fake claims in their marketing collateral for sales, then they have a 5 year warranty where they just keep pretending to fix problems they cant fix because the product isnt even capable of doing its advertised tasks.
been three years, still got the pile of junk in my house. i no longer give guitar lessons or even play. they never fixed anything, no refund nothing.
so if you want this desk to perform as advertised, id look elsewhere. anywhere with online reviews should be good.
very bad business, operating against the law in Australia, false claims, false advertising, bad customer service, terrible repair service.

Standing Desk for my wife, and she absolutely loves using it!
The assembly was incredibly simple and hassle-free. Thanks to the dual motor system, the height adjustment is super smooth and quiet. The build quality is excellent, and you can truly feel the sturdiness of the desk.
For the price, this desk offers exceptional value, and I wouldn't compare it to any other popular brand—it stands out on its own. Highly recommended!

on the upper plastic border. Think about resting your head on the edge of a brick wall.
The weird “stepped” adjustment gimmick while being very quick and easy to adjust has its flaws. They have no locking mechanism so if a friend leans on the headrest from the back, looking over your shoulder it just collapses. The armrests swing outwards when standing to get out of the chair as their mechanism is just on a swivel bearing and again has no lock. If you push the chair back with your legs and naturally slightly hold on to and pull back on the arm rests they also just collapse. All the current adjustment features rely on your body weight pushing against each piece of the chair while SITTING to stay in place, which in itself is obviously “okay” but the second you go to stand or slightly pull what feels like anywhere ln the chair the moving parts all move.
The arm rest material feels similar to a basketball or the bottom of a shoe. Not comfortable at all and feels coarse and rough. Not to mention like I touched on above they are very loose and I can swivel them side to side with one finger. The also lack any forward/backwards adjustment. So if you wanted to tuck your chair in or out you will either have to lower them and loose their functionally all together or deal with the gap between the armrests and your desk. Again is it a dealbreaker for all… no. But for being advertised as a pro+ ergonomic chair and perfect for all bodies, you would think it would include features found in much cheaper office chairs.
I have attached photos of the plastic frame (yeah it’s mostly plastic, $700 btw) The quality is a joke and can be compared to a backyard cricket set from your sport store. Mold lines are visible, weird cheap rough finish, several scuff marks out of the box, corners are dinted or still have excess plastic.

I've owned several Herman Miller chairs in my time (Aeron and Embody + tried the rest at stores), I have back issues etc like I'm sure anyone else… Read more
reading these reviews will have.. but I cant even believe how much better the Leap V2 is than anything I have owned before... it makes the Herman Millers feel like some sort of ancient technology.. old.. heavy... hard metal designs @ twice the price... I mean don't get me wrong they are quality chairs.. but the Leap V2 has been perfection.. I don't even notice my chair anymore I just mould into it.
Now obviously we all have different shaped bodies, so imo you should set up a day to go try the different chair models one after another.. find a Herman Miller dealer if you like, but definitely find a Steelcase dealer.. there are other models were nice, but the Leap V2 was just such an obvious fit for my body.
Do measure the height under your desk to make sure the arm-rests will slide under.. I took a measuring tape with me so I knew how high I could leave them on the test day.. the rests can always be dropped lower if needed though.. and on that.. I would suggest buying the model with the arm rests (which is almost all of their sales apparently.. as it is just more comfortable). There are a few other adjustments you can make... but the thing is so damn comfortable you don't even need to make them imo.. its just a bonus..
I've had mine 6 months and I suspect it won't be as easy to keep clean as the henry miller chairs I've had in the past since they are made of metal and mesh... but that's a very secondary concern for me.. and so far it still looks like new despite being used day and night.

share some pros and cons in hope that it helps others make a decision:
PROS Unbeatable price, 10 year warranty, high build quality and solid parts, soft castors, sturdy structure, very comfortable seat, great seat height and inclination range for short and tall users, has a head rest, looks very sleek (though subjective), back mesh material makes the chair very breathable. After 1 year of heavy use the condition is near perfect. Can try and pick up from a physical store.
CONS The arm rests and neck rest is not adjustable, seat does not decline far enough for a movie position.
It's not a perfect chair, nor the most comfortable i have used however, for the price that you pay it definitely exceeded my expectations and therefore i would give this a 5/5. I'f you're after a top tier chair where price isn't a major factor then Herman Miller or Steel Case would be more suitable my in my personal opinion - and having used both heavily over the years - i can't justify the marginal cost over a Markus.
The good: The chair is quite comfortable overall: - Build quality: For the price (mid tier ergo chair) the build quality is excellent. - Lumbar… Read more
support: Very good once you get used to it. At first it feels odd/bit firm, but I got used to it. - I have the combo mesh option. The seat is firm but comfortable and the mesh feels high quality. I have read online that some people find it itchy. I can see that it could be, but I'm ok with it - Plenty of adjustments to fit your preferred position.
The frustrating (daily annoyances): Honestly, some design choices are baffling. If returning the chair wasn’t such a hassle and if the mid-tier market had better options, I’d have sent it back. - Lumbar height: You adjust it by lifting it up to the height you want. This is how the mechanism "locks". If you push it to the top, it releases and slides back down. This is hands down, the dumbest design choice of this chair. Every time I shift around, my back pushes the backrest up and changes the height. I end up having to get out of the chair and readjust several times a day. Even just moving the chair whil standing up, I keep accidentally changing the height. - Armrests: Same story - less annoying. Height is adjusted by pulling up. If you overshoot your preferred spot you have to start all over again. If you would select the height once and for all, this wouldn't be an issue but if you use a sit/stand desk and change desk height often, this gets old very quickly. - Coat hanger: this again, I don’t understand. It mounts behind the headrest, so your jacket awkwardly drapes over the headrest instead of hanging freely. Why not design it to sit in front of the headrest, where it actually makes sense? - Finally, the firmness of the lumbar support is set by a little dial on the back of the chair. For me personally, this isn't a big issue as I don’t change this often. But it has to be said that this is not something you can adjust without having to get up.
Bottom line: This chair could have been great: solid comfort and build. But the poor design of the lumbar, armrests, and accessories makes it frustrating to live with day to day.
This is it! – I recently purchased this desk and i couldn’t be more happier. This desk is height adjustable, looks and works great.. Perfect for home office or even students!! You can either sit or stand and use computer.. Highly recommended ..

couple of years. When I've added more electronics, or audio equipment, or clamped on a bigger monitor it has still been just as responsive and capable of taking the increased weight, while moving from a sitting suitable height to a raised, standing desk setup. There have been a couple of times when I've switched it on and it has immediately lowered itself without any reason to do so, but this resolves once I tap the button on the interface and stop the movement - I really only mean 2-3 times total this has occurred; otherwise it's been completely reliable.
Can happily recommend this unit for those needing an electronic desk capable of changing heights regularly. Great for the price, and the Walnut top is nice if available to order!
I have had this chair for over a week. Very happy with the lower back support, which is the main thing I was after. Very comfortable and worth the $949

is its best supplier in Australia, hands down. Atlas stays in place when you need it to but also hand adjustable while sitting on your Aeron, an apparent issue with its competitors. The two tightening knobs does a great job to help you set the right tension in such a way that it stays in place yet still adjustable by hand! I’ve used this for over 6 months now and the more I use it, the happier I am with my Aeron. I also heard about hair getting stuck with the other headrest brands but not with Atlas, I never had a single hair pulled by the mesh on this Atlas! It’s just so good, I can now finally take a quick power nap on my Aeron without using my arms to support my head while reclined! I’m really glad that I did a thorough online research on what’s the best headrest for my Aeron and my research efforts surely paid off. If you’re in Australia, I purchased this from The Chair King. Three things I like about them, fast local delivery, after sales support and better pricing compared to getting it overseas!

material. It is easy to fix by pulling material up a little when first putting screws in. I am wondering if those saying it is wobbly have put the seat/gaslift on the wrong way. I did this and it was like a rocking chair. I looked and saw I had made a mistake (it is clearly marked to show which way is front - I just didn't pay attention. This is my fault) The chair is really sturdy since putting it back together correctly. It was packaged well with all pieces in bubble wrap or cardboard.
