did not expect anything like the NBN at the time as we were just coming to terms with a digital phone line. It has served us well. The yellow water resistant handset has been used more than the other handsets and up to 200m from the base and amplifier. We also use the intercom function. The Bluetooth connection to our mobile phones was uneventful and it provides an alternative to answering our mobile phones which are normally on charge when we are at home and they are out of reach. With the onset of NBN we have remained with Telstra. The NBN modem was connected to the existing Telstra Smart Modem and the XDECT has remained daisy chained via our Brother printer as we like to have the fax capability on the printer.

While the phone book in the phone has picked up the contacts from my iPhone, the results are pretty random.

It's odd that the phone doesn't allow the name of the handset to be changed. Odd because this is old technology and that functionality has existed for a long time.

If I was fully reliant on this phone I would return it but as it is only a backup to my mobile, I'll keep. It only cost $34 and you get what you pay for!

Nitpicks: - Phonebook menu is just ever so slightly laggy to scroll through, but not so bad to be frustrating. I assume this is due to it syncing with the base unit as opposed to being stored only on each handset. - Silly silver paint trim around the edges. This doesn't age well and will likely wear off in no time.
