Excellent, only one con – What a great little vacuum at an amazing price. Paid under $100 and received a free $99 steam mop! True to it's Hoover pedigree, it does the job, easily picking my pet hairs from the carpet and furniture. Sure, you can get machines with stronger suction, but at this price, it does more than you would expect from a vacuum at this price. Easily… Read more
cleans pet hair off my carpet AND furniture. Got one for my mother who is 80 loves how light and easy to maneuver, it comes with extra accessories and is bagless...so easy to clean. You can even wash the filters, so no extra expense for disposal environmentally unfriendly filters and bags. My only negative point is the shortness of the cord. I would not use this as my main vacuum for my large house, but it was not made for that purpose. For times you need something in between a main vacuum, you just can't go past this for the price (remember the free steam mop), convenience, low maintenance and environmentally friendliness.
I ve got this one too!!! massive yes after ALDIs one – I Absolutely love it it is so strong. better than 500dyson one that used at my friends. I use wind powered spinning brush attachment that i bought separately for my thick carpets and the brushing is so strong on these carpets. I also use diverter so that the rubbish doesnt go into the bagless area so I dont have to clean it as often. The mini… Read more
spinner brush that comes with it is super efficient on my thick and long carpet but I already use bigger version of it and recommend everyone to get it as well as this vacuum cleaner manages to spin it with power during full contact with carpets. I think I am Hoover's girl as I also bought their HOOVER PRO carpet cleaner and cant stop loving it. This vacuum cleaner is A YES YES YES. Of course I am a little crazy and look after my appliances. I clean and dry thouroughly after few uses and some after each use. So they all work and look like new after a years even.
October 25th 2019 Update: I am in love, my shaggy rugs live new life
This is my second purchase from Hoover range. I have thick expensive rugs with indented pattern, and 3 shaggy rugs each have different thread hair type and style. Suction is strong and I am making full use of the large rotary brush attachment that I purchased a while ago. The motor is aerial meaning the stronger the suction the better the brush does it's job. I am glad and recommend this over D+++N worth 500$ that I used to borrow when working as a cleaner.
I really hate this machine! – I've just stopped vacuuming, well, trying to vacuum, to review this horrible vacuum cleaner. It is the most frustrating time-waster. I've done two rooms so-far, no carpets, just hard floors. I've had to empty the container several times, it sucks hard for a few minutes and then nope. You watch the grit and stuff rolling under the head as you push… Read more
it back and forth, trying to get it to go up.
You have to wash the various inside bits of this vacuum so much, you spend more time washing IT than vacuuming. The ergonomics are not as good as they look either, the cord is short, and pulls out of the wall socket very easily. The fancy head that came with it with the rolling interior brush is a nightmare, anything long like a thread wraps around it, it makes a horrible noise, and stops working. It's full of fancy bits (that you also need to clean) and blocks up with a few small leaves. I bought the hand-head for it to do pet hair on couches... again, it has a rolling head that jams up, i had to dismantle the entire thing (plastic, so you have to be careful not to break anything) and clean it, but it's never come good after the last jamming.
I'm not buying a Hoover ever again if this is typical, I'll go back to Hitachi. I've got the rest of the house to do and it's going to take forever, as you have to keep going over things, stopping it and emptying the canister.. oh and I think it wants me to take it all apart and wash it AGAIN.

Pretty good – The vacuum is good takes a while to fill up, and having a house with 2 dogs it’s perfect for cleaning up there hair and mess! Would definitely recommend to others who have pets or dogs But wouldn’t pay over 200$ as you can get pet one in Godfrey’s for 100$ Show details
Strong Suction – Got this vac for a bargain ($99) from Godfreys and it hasn’t missed a beat. Suction is still strong 4 months on after daily use and is easy to clean. Love that you have the option to lower the suction especially when vacuuming my couch. Wish the cord was a little longer but nothing an extension cord can’t fix Show details
LOVE THIS vacuum cleaner – It's been a good Vacuum cleaner over the past 5 months - haven't had any issues with it and it came with that hand turbo brush which I absolutely love. Overall: It's very quiet and convenient, it's small and affordable. I managed to get it on discount and haven't regretted it. Show details
Okay vacc for a temp time – Vacc is very very loud which I dont like. Suction is what to expect. I find that the cord for the vac isnt that long so takes a while to do the whole house. Defintely suitable for a small house. Will do a short amount of time. Expected more as it being a hoover Show details
Love it!! – Performs well has great suction, sucks up all the very fine dust particles that normally get left behind and stuck in your carpet. Great for removing pet hair from your clothes or furniture. Power Cord could be longer. I love how you can turn the suction up and down. Brilliant Show details
suction is just part of the deal – Very short handle and hose. Even my wife has to stoop to use the machine. The cord is NOT particularly long....I added an extension...but, of course, that doesn't go into the machine when you are finished. Lightweight and easy to pull around. Suction is fine....with a 2200 W cyclonic motor. If you want to do carpets they recommend an additional… Read more
attachment, although we use the one that came with it. (additional attachment costs extra) overall. ....... the stooping makes me NOT want to do the vacuuming. ...which is something I normally don't mind doing. So unless you are a dwarf I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, if you are really short...then maybe this is for you. We got it to suck in pet hair....which it is supposed to be good at (So far so good in that department. )....and because it was in our budget.
Noisy But Good – We have a Newfoundland, which are double coat dogs so as you can imagine - hair everywhere. This does a reasonable job with Barron's hair but it is a bit plasticky feeling and noisy as anything when its running. It does have powerful suction and its pretty easy to empty but I still use a few paper towels to clean the inside off a bit and tipping it never gets it all out. Its OK, it could be improved in some ways but OK Show details
It’s ok now – The suction was so strong I couldn’t push the vacuum across the floor and it was lifting my carpet up. After a while it’s got better still hard to push but it does a great job of lifting dirt from the floors!! Easy to empty and put back together. Watch your fingers when trying to clean the fluff from the brush on the head it’s very sharp I cut my finger so deeply it’s scared. Show details
Excellent for picking up alll the cat hairs – The performance of tne pet vacuum is extremely good, i have onr for upstairs and one downstairs in my unit,as my two cats generate a lot of hair on the floors, easy to manage being bagless, empting made easy, and excellent suction on both of my vacuums. I would highly recommend tnis product. Show details
Too noisy – Got sucked into the cheap promo at Godfreys for this thing. I did not want to hang around to listen to his sales pitch on them all, so grabbed the second cheapest bagless vacuum & figured i could not go wrong being a well know brand that's been around for ages... but i was wrong. Unless you want to wear a pair of earmuffs every time you clean,… Read more
don't buy this piece of crap. You'll get industrial deafness. Don't think i'll buy that brand again. The suction isn't that bad but nothing impressive.
The cord is far too short to get any sort of distance from the power point too.

Kmart vacuum does a better job – Terrible vacuum. I've only used it 4 time and it's lost suction, I've cleaned the filters and still nothing. The cord is ridiculously short! It doesn't reach down my hall and it's not a long hall way. Glad I only paid $99 and not $300! It's to worth $300 what so ever. My Kmart vacuum does a better job. Show details
For a very cheap product , it is great ! – I was very Amazed at the suction on this vac seeing that i got it with a steam mop as well for $100 , which is insane really. The suction is very good and it is easy to empty. If you are on a budget and need a Hoover , go buy it but don't pay more than 100 bucks . Show details
Good for the price – Purchased recently on sale at Godfreys. Upgrade after cheaper K mart one died. So far so good, seems strong, rolls well on carpet. I ahvent had an issue with length of chord, fine for an apartment. It is small so stores easy, I plan on emptying it each time which is fairly non fuss. Show details
Horrible Hoover! – When I first used this vacuum cleaner, there were quite a few things I noticed that I wasn't happy about. 1: Very short cord 2: Filter is in cylinder, which leaves no space for dirt. 3: Awkward to empty cylinder to remove dirt because of the big filter inside. 4: Attached turbo head accessory was useless - would not pick up cat fur off rug… Read more
or lounge.
5: Very noisy
Within the twelve months I owned it, a wheel broke off, the filter clip broke off, and the clip on the extendable rod also broke off.
Overall, the suction was not the best as even on hard floors, I found myself going over the same spot to pick up the smallest and lightest bits of dirt.
As good as you would expect for the price – It's light and okay on hard floors but tougher to use on carpet. Not particularly powerful, but does the job. Gets quite hot when used for a long period of time and could do with better attachments. The narrow attachment has a brush that can't be removed so not great for hoovering between things. Great, does the job, excellent price – Suction is great, it’s much lighter than the Dyson we had and easier to manoeuvre. I vac both tiles and carpet in a 2 bedroom townhouse and can get this one up and down the stairs pretty easily. It’s also slender enough to sit on each step as I go up with it. Show details
Great vac for the price – I purchased this vac last year and I still am loving it. Pros: Great power Size/shape of the vac is nice and small - easy to stow away Handle attachments are great to get hair off of carpets and cloth furniture Cons: Can be pretty loud Runs kind of hot at times Wish the cord was longer Overall: Highly recommended especially for the price. The suction power and quality of the vac is great Show details
Hoover once upon a time was a great product! – I recently purchased the pet bagless vacuum from Godfreys. When first used it thought wow what a great vacuum sucks well then second time great again. Well on the third time nothing but drama lost suction thought must of sucked something up but NOPE NOTHING. the grill lid kept coming off so taped it down then it was extremely hot, hottest vacuum i… Read more
have ever used. thought this can't be right. finished using it so took it back under warranty got it back but this time not a red grill a bright orange told me shouldn't come off anymore'' LOW AND BEHOLD AND COMES OFF'' still get very hot a minute after using it dust is all over the vacuum. Verdict made in China rubbish i give it -00000000 out of 10 stars. So Hoover from the great brand you use to be you should be ashamed at the junk you are now selling. I am so disappointed and angry at this rubbish. HOOVER UP YOUR GAME AGAIN TO WHAT YOU USE TO BE LIKE.

Great Purchase! Love! – Bought this as a gift for my mum, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats and works like a charm with their hair! The suction is so strong! It has a minimum and maximum setting to adjust the suction as needed, it works great on carpet and tiled floors! Well worth the money. Show details

Not bad vacuum cleaner – Are you happy with the performance/suction? : It can be better. Not very much impressed with the suction but its good enough for a less dusty house. Would recommend using it once every fortnight. Is it light? Quiet? Easy to maneuver? : It is the very light and attachment very handy and useful. Show details
fantastic vacuum and affordable – I purchased this vacuum at Godfreys for 99$ been using it for my whole home (no carpeting) and it sucks up dirt and dust very easily, great for picking up pet fur also and great for doing the couch. This vacuum is so easy to clean, the only thing that i would change is the cord length is too short but a good vacuum. Show details
fantastic little vac – I have recently purchased the pet vac from godfrey and have found it to be the best little vac I have used it was on special for 89.00 I would recommend it to anyone even if I had paid more I am so impressed by this little machine it has the best suction easy to clean and easy to use great on carpets and wood floors Show details
Easy to move around and it sucks! – It sucks in a good sense that it takes the dirt away. The Hoover could be a bit more powerful for my taste, but it does the job on a day to day basis. It has plenty of add ons that come in the box. I am using it on a mostly wooden floor and am happy with the results. Show details
Good product - 3 year warranty – Light, easy to use and clean, great price, excellent service from Godfrey’s Dandenong. Good suction - I have had it for about a month and I am quite happy with performance for the price and considering the 3 year warranty. Good bargain at $200 for a quality vacuum with turbo head, that can be easily cleaned and maintained Show details
Great product – I have a large carpeted area and as an owner of longhaired ragdoll cats this vaccume cleaner removed all pet hair and cleans brilliantly.very pleased with its performance.its also light and easy to manouvere. It is a fantastic price for a very efficient product .I'd recommend it to anyone especially pet owners Show details
Great value! – Purchased a few months ago and I'm very happy with this vacuum cleaner. I have an indoor cat & a fabric lounge. The attachment works brilliantly! I have found it's even more effective if you start with the bristles down, rotate them off and run over the surface again. Powerful suction, great on our rug, timber floors & tiles. Also comes apart (&… Read more
goes back together) easily for cleaning. It is a little loud but apart from that it's great, especially for the price. Highly recommended!
(I suspect some of these reviews are for a different model as they don't make sense from my experience with this product)
Works fantastic!!! – I don't have pets but bought this vacuum in the hope that it will work well for all stubborn dust & dirts trapped in my carpets, particularly in my lounge area. After several uses so far, I'm very impressed, has been the best vacuum I've had! The suction is powerful & it has a choice of small head, large head & corner head. The heads work well, & is easy to manoeuvre. I recommend this vacuum. Show details
Great for cat hair - hard to push on carpet – It does the job of getting cat hair up amazingly, however it tends to be quite a workout pushinf the vacuum on the carpet. Much cheaper than the dyson alternative but it certainly does the job that it is supposed to do. Good purchase as a money saving option indeed. Show details
Ok for the price but not perfect – Rubbing a bare foot over my "clean" worn carpet, i realized my vacuum wasn't actually picking up pet hair. The suction was good until i vacuumed over carpet powder at around the 12 month mark and dust would go back up in the air from the motor. Then by 13 months the motor died (thanks to carpet powder). I found the cord on the short side for my… Read more
average sized 2 room area and the filters needed regular cleaning.
My tip is not to use a dry carpet powder deodoriser with this vacuum cleaner and you should get 2 years or more out of it and don't trust it to really pick up the pet hair from your carpet.
Great vacuum cleaner! – I purchased this vacuum not having overly high hopes, but it surprised me. I'm very happy with the suction. It's very easy to pull around the house. Very easy to clean. It also has all the tools onboard for easy use. You can change the head of the vacuum for hard floors and for carpet. Show details
Good vacuumed had for over one year now – Brought this vacuumed about one year ago very good suction no issues yet*gets a little bit hot sometimes also the bag less container Gets full quickly I like it it’s a great vacuumed to do 10 minute quick cleans haven’t used the accessories included. One thing I reckon would be better is a longer cord though Show details
small with a big motor – For a small machine it has great suction and cleans really well. Smaller extendable cord is a bit of an issue but I over come it with a extension lead to do the whole house. Light weight with a more than adequate barrel allows me to clean the whole house without emptying. Show details
