This product works well, purchased a couple of years ago. Haven't used that much over the couple of years, so very disappointed that when I went to use it, it didn't turn on!!! No number to be found to contact the company. I have had to go back to my Ghd, which I have had for at least 15 years, and they still work!!! So much for paying all that money for Halo!!!! I would stick with GHD over Halo – DO not recommend! I have always used GHDs and was convinced to purchase this product in store, I was told it is much better than the GHD. will not work, I do not overuse this straightener, I would use it once/ twice each fortnight. I contacted Hairhouse Warehouse and they informed me it is out of warranty and cannot assist at all. I asked if it could be repaired, to be told 'no, sorry we can't assist you'. Since looking at reviews, I can see this is a common issue and they will not assist. My 20 year old GHD still works, I will be now be replacing this mediocre HALO with the GHD.

exchange despite the 2yr warranty they advertise. Read previous reviews this seems to be a common situation.
Product is substandard and quite frankly dangerous, not by any means made to last and does not compare to similar items on the market despite the recommendation you receive at time of purchase from staff.
I have lodged an official complaint with consumer affairs and also made a product safety complaint.
Do not waste your money.

known issue with the Halo Farrah Titanium Hair Straightener. I was asked to bring the product to the store, which I did. The store manager quickly resolved the issue and gave me a new hair straightener.
However, the store manager also informed me that the warranty for the new hair straightener would count on the faulty product. I believe that this is unfair, as I should be entitled to a new two-year warranty for the replacement product.

protection and all the things required but still has ruined my hair. Many family and friends have commented and noticed the declines and rough looking hair. I touch it and it’s snapping off .. DO NOT BUY!!! Haven’t even bothered going back as they will tell me it’s be and how hot but I use products for heat and decrease heat to front of hair etc. $200 down the drain!!! If 0 stars was an option I’d choose it – After using the original ceramic halo for years I upgraded to the Farrah. This was the worst decision I’ve ever made. I have extremely healthy, corse, virgin, dark and curly hair which is ideal texture for titanium straighteners but this one completely burnt of inches of my hair. hair almost every day and used heat protectant and still my hair was completely damaged after! I exchanged it for the silver bullet and usually they don’t do exchanges but the lady saw the damage it did to my hair and called their manager. Do not purchase this straightener if you straighten your hair frequently! I have strong thick wavey/curly hair and I do not recommend!
THE WORST – If you want to fry and damage your hair, then buy this product. The worst straightener ever, it leaves your hair so frizzy and it discolours your hair. Be careful with what you buy – Bought my halo 14 months ago. Worked beautifully on my hair. But it just stopped working, wont switch on or heat up. Hairhouse Warehouse wont exchange as its 8 weeks out if warranty. For what i paid it should last longer than 14 months. I looked after it and only used it for short times. Great straightener but they have an electrical fault problem – I liked the way it straightened my hair in fact I preferred the result over my original GHD especially with my thick frizzy hair. cord around the irons when not in use - definitely did not do this - followed manufacturer instructions). The replacement lasted just under a year, same fault, only this time I have no recourse. They never sent the receipt back. An expensive product should last longer than that. I'm not buying that brand again.

Farrah by Halo - Fantastic, love it! But has a short, maybe 2, 3 year lifespan – It is a fantastic appliance, my No. 1 hands down but having to replace every 2 to 3 years at $200 a pop seems excessive. I'd gladly pay $100 for one and it's worth it, what's not worth it is $200. Show details

that it heats up fast and has many heating options to ensure that you're not constantly using the same heat and sizzling away your precious hair. Really simple to use and even with daily use, my hair is still in great condition. Highly recommend!

First Time User – As a first time user of the modern hair straightener, at first I wondered what I had gotten into burning my fingers and unable to use it very well but after some practice and some tips I am now a pro and absolutely love this hair straightener! The box is handy to store it in and purchasing a silicone heat mat is worth buying to place it on. I have semi curly frizzy hair and this really helps to give that sexy sleek look. Love it!

straight but frizzy not flattended hair after an entire hour of straightening. I took it back but they refused to refund it as I'd already used it, and acted as if I was stupid and didn't know how to straighten my hair. They did a demonstration and it turned out exactly the same, the hairdressers in hairhouse warehouse can't even get this product to work. Don't get it!

and they do not want to replace it as the sales representative said it was due to wrapping the cord around the hair straightner (MINE HAVE BEEN SITTING ON MY VANITY FOR 8 MONTHS - i never wrap them or put them away) Even though they offer a 2 year replacement warranty, it means nothing. Halo: The Farrah > GHD – Had my intentions of buying a GHD till I saw this straightener specifically for thick curly hair. 3 years later and its still in perfect condition. Leaving my hair healthy and soft. Best choice I ever made. Would recommend it to anyone!!

Best Hair Straightener! – I have thick curly hair and find this straightener so easy to use with excellent results! It takes only seconds to heat up and glides through my hair with ease. I got it on sale for $175 and its definitely worth the money!

easy-to-use and seems to heat-up and maintain heat evenly and well. We've found no issues with any sort of tangling or anything else. After use, it's so good hair looks like just coming out of a salon. Highly recommended!

Worst one I’ve had an customer service doesn’t seem good – It seems to be hot but I need ten goes at straightening one section before my hair becomes somewhat straight. Not what I’m use to. I have straight hair naturally I only use to make smooth. I’ve only owned it year an twice tried to get hold of them with no luck. Just so disappointing as they aren’t cheap
Very Bad – The hair straightener heats up very quick. It has damaged my hair leaving it dead and frizzy over time. It has also led to the discoloration of my hair. I do not recommend this to anyone especially to daily users.
This is perfect – I just bought this product today as the lady in hair house warehouse tried on me i was shocked the result so good my hair never been that silky and smooth with any straighter before i have really thick and frizzy hairs its really work excellent on me love it
