Returned for refund and got nothing – This straightener was not for me, left hair dry and frizzy. I contacted SAS to organise a refund, they sent me the address and said no problem, return the straightener for the refund. 2 months later and I have received nothing! return postage. I suggest if you really want to try this straightener, instead of sending it back if you don't like it, just sell it yourself, at least you might get something back for it. Thanks for nothing SAS.

Best straightener I’ve ever used! – Super happy with this straightener. It is so much better than my ghd. I bought the wide plate. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. Perfect on my thick curly hair. Only thing is I wish it came with a heat protecter bag like my old ghd did  Show reply

It's O.K but didn't deliver what I expected – I have naturally curly thin hair (but lots of it) & no straightener has ever worked on my hair! While I understand that this is the nature of my hair, I was hoping this straightener would work against its nature. It was great for the short time it lasted straight before it reverted to being wavy & frizzy..

Pros: Fast heat up, easy to use touch screen, looks & feels great. Also worth mentioning that it was *next day* delivery which is fantastic.

Cons: Doesn't *keep* my hair straight unfortunately..

Might work on other hair types though!

The straightener is incredible- its half price from a GHD, has a very advanced LCD display- takes maybe 10 seconds to heat up and is super easy to control the temperature. I would highly recommend it.

Seriously good! – Just used wide straightener for first time after a quick delivery. After reading so many very positive reviews and product being so reasonably priced I thought I would try it even though I couldn't see how it could be different to other straightened almost 3 times the price. and was becoming hard work to get anything close to straight and was getting a lot of breakage. Very happy with results from the SAS straightener. Seemed to take much less time than previously to get a better result than I ever did before. Did heat up very fast and went through hair smoothly as advertised. This is a genuine review. Will give it a couple of weeks and if results remain as good I shall purchase another for myself and one for my daughter.

Moveover Cloud , GHD & silver bullet – Why would you buy cloud , GHD or silver bullet they are twice the price. I bought my daughter the SAS wide plate she cant believe how amazing this straightener is! my surprise, it really straightened. It even produced some steam off my completely dry hair with no hair products. I even took a large quarter section from the back and it straightened that large section in one go as well. I was extremely surprised. I have a a lot of hair and I was able to straighten it in about 5 minutes. Although I have never tried a GHD this is the best straightener I have used so far. If anything my hair is way too straight now. I tried curling it after but it didn't quite work as I have the wide plate and my hair was way too straight now. I am going to try it at a lower setting after a shower and write another review.

Customer service was outstanding as I got a reply the next day over facebook and they even offered me a discount code!

First impression of the box and iron was just 'okay'. It's no GHD with its fancy design and marketing materials. Build quality seems okay, only time will tell. If they improve a little on these aspects, it would make this straightener even better! Also wish it came with some accessories like a heat protection bag and croc crips. Iron is very light and cord is long enough. Touch interface was very easy to use. Heats up very quickly! Hair came out VERY straight with great shine. Although there was no pull on my hair it didn't feel as smooth as a silver bullet but this was a very minor difference. I found a little lock above the swivel cord to lock the iron from opening which actually wasn't in the instructions.

Despite these suggestions, iron fulfills it's purpose really well so I am giving it a 5 star! It's still early on so I will add more reviews later.
