Option RV Traction - Brilliant Van with Unbelievable Service – My wife and I purchased an Option RV Traction model last year and is towed easily behind a Ford Ranger XLT. The van is 20'6" and is extremely well built with an amazing attention to detail. While half way through our lap around the block, we dropped into their production facility at Campbellfield in February 2019 to have a few issues rectified. A… Read more

small but annoying floor squeak was quickly fixed along with some very minor issues but the real game changer was having a wind damaged awning arm replaced from some locally sourced spare parts. Although this was not a warranty item, the owner, Phil, arranged for the work to be performed totally free of charge. Incredible!

We also received a no questions asked refund for an NCE 24" TV as the supplied remote control device had failed on 4 occasions. I expect this relates to some firmware issues with the device and not the TV itself. Having had a number of USB hard drives attached allowed us to play pre-recorded content but regrettably the device sput the dummy too often to persist using the TV so it was replaced elsewhere with no issues so far. We were also allowed to stay overnight at their premises, complete with power and water and which made our stopover so much easier considering we had just arrived from Tasmania that morning.

We cannot stress how impressed we have been with our treatment from Phil and his dedicated team as the service we received was miles ahead of anything we had expected and has left us with that assured feeling that if we did encounter some issues in the future, Option RV would be there to back their brand. Anyone wishing to purchase an upmarket off-road van with a high level of quality components and an exceptional attention to detail MUST include Option RV on their short list as you'd be extremely impressed with the whole package.

Well done guys!

pleased with my 2011 Option RV Distinction caravan – I purchased a 22 foot Option RV Distinction semi offroad from caravan world at Moolooabah QLD in late 2018. Overall we are very pleased with it - especially the finish and material quality, the sales service was also excellent and I recommend purchasing from caravan world. I Chose this van above all the others I looked at for the following… Read more

reasons;

3500 kg suspension rating / 900kg payload

the van appeared to be very well constructed and in as new condition

the layout and features

Towing

This is a heavy van (tare 2480kg), which I pack to its maximum GVM 3500 kg, I do not recommend towing this van with a vehicle with specifications less than a Landcruiser because of the above. Attached to the landcruiser this van feels heavier than my previous van (20 foot gazal) and you definitely need to drive slower and be always mindful of that. Once your used to it the van tows well and sits level on the road.

Work done since purchase

Ive added

curved facia brakets

anti flap bars - full length

sail track drivers side for sunscreen

hayman reese weight distribution system

external anderson plugs

replacement lpg regulator

replacement water filters

repaired the autosat system

rewired the brake safe

rear view camera

voltmeter to solar control

diesel heater

replaced several rear lights

Overall I am very pleased with the percieved solidarity of the rig, of course time will tell ay.

Option an exceptional caravan, and good value for money. and unbeleiveable after sale service – My wife and I purchased our Options Distinction A/T Van in 2013. Between then and now we have had a few minor problems which have been rectified by Option Vans with out any problems. In July of this year 2018 I noticed some delamination in the interior lining of the van. I contacted Options and spoke to Phil, and without hesitation he said he… Read more

would have it fixed,[van 5 years old). The work has been carried out and all is now 100% again. In all my years of buying car, boats and a number of caravans of all makes I have never had after sales service any where near the quality of service that we have received from Option Caravans.I would have no hesitation in recommending their produce to anyone thinking of purchasing a caravan, as their vans are exceptional and their after sales service is even better.

2016 Option Rv Tornato Equippe ...Get more then what you pay for – We ordered our van from Caravan World on the Sunshine coast in Queensland, for delivery in May 2016. Now the van is almost 2 yrs old i believe i have the experience in it to say its the best van on the market today. The handover was great, Marty from Caravan World was able to answer all our questions and had no problem with us videoing the… Read more

explanations of how every thing works.

The only issues have been from faulty parts supplied to Option Rv but they were quickly replaced.

I guess the old saying still goes: you get what you pay for, but what we got and what we paid for in this van was heads and shoulders above the rest with an after sales service to match. 2 Years down the track and the company still make themselves available to support us when we need it. I cant speak highly enough about this product.

I love it so much i am an Administrator of our very own owners group that get together every year and throughout the year help each other and share our experiences. We have made many more new friends and cant imagine why anyone would buy anywhere else..

After sales service was what we originally based our decision on when looking to buy a van..

No Warranty – We bought a caravan for the parafield garden super store. The service we received was a six out of ten. But it is the NO WARRANTY that was the problem. We did our checks on the van and found that the shower hutch was broken i rang RV and i then was told they do not give warranty out USE VAN. So buys beware.

Our home away from home whilst doing a lap around Australia – We have been on the road now for about three months travelling through Queensland and the Northern Territory and now have a pretty good feel for the new caravan. Both my wife and I are thoroughly impressed with the van! We have been on highway as well as some corrugated dirt and cannot fault the build. No breakages and everything is as it… Read more

was when we first picked up the van. What impressed me was the quality of the fittings, the chassis and particularly the suspension. If you drive to condition, I am certain you could take this van anywhere a van could go.

A clear delineator for us was the family owned business with long term factory employees (most 5-7years). The factory only builds two vans per week with a focus on quality rather than quantity.

Before finalising our decision to buy from Option RV we visited the factory and met Phil and Bec, who took us through the various phases of the build. We were very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail.

The final point I would like to make is how Option RV honour their warranty. We had a small issue with a squeak in the floor and contacted Phil who immediately arranged for us to take the van into a local caravan service centre to have the issue permanently rectified. It was as easy as making a single call to Phil who was very receptive and had the issue resolved within 24 hours. Great to see a company back their warranty without any hassles!

A great family owned business who take pride in their product! Highly recommended.

The best caravan money can buy – We researched caravan manufacturers for over two years before ordering a new caravan. Every person we spoke to that owned an Option RV Caravan could not speak highly enough about the product. We put a lot of thought into specific items we needed as this is our last caravan and we wanted the best. What I can say is , if you want a Rolls Royce… Read more

product and Rolls Royce service you can't go any further than Option RV.

The whole process from design , colour selection , construction and delivery was perfect . We DID NOT have any problems at all .

We have now put the van to use and taken it through riggeress testing with out a problem.

I am very proud of the delivered product and Give Option RV a Six Star rating. I would be happy to hear from anyone contemplating buying a new caravan who would like to speak to me about our experience.

Michael
